Alesse'S Connect: The Alchemist

Alesse'S Connect: The Alchemist
Village upgrade

Alesse stared at the rickety hut lined by the concrete-concrete. His mind was deeply disturbed by it.

"Argh! Who would have thought of building this ugly house? The support wood is overrated! The woven walls are too thin, the precariousness of the house is not tightly closed, the roof horses are out of balance! If it was like this, the heavy rain would have fallen!" alesse was upset.

"How did you know that our house often falls when it rains?" ask Habbi. "Seeing from anywhere, this house of yours was built very badly! If there is a shortage of materials, this is not how to build a house!" Alesse.

"Don't she know how to build a house?" asked a man, Habbi immediately reprimanded him for thinking the question was very disrespectful.

Alesse was silent for a moment after hearing the man's words. "Hey, what are you doing? Hurry up and apologize!" whiskey Habbi.

"If you really don't know anything about home, you better shut up! We've been building houses for decades!" said the man.

"So trash like this you consider home to decades of experience?" alesse asked, he felt somewhat annoyed until a dark aura suddenly appeared around his body.

Habbi told the villagers to lower their eyes, fearing that Alesse would be enraged. Unfortunately the man was still standing upright not accepting.

"So where's your home that you call decades of experience?" ask Alesse.

Actually the man was reluctant to answer, but he had a glance at his own house to make sure it was within his sight.

Alesse had just caught his gaze, he quickly darted towards the man's house.

The residents were shocked because Alesse was suddenly no longer in front of them. Habbi also told them to immediately approach him who was standing in front of the man's house.

"So this is the house you're proud of?" ask Alesse. He pushed slowly one of the wooden blocks that supported the house, as soon as all the walls of the house collapsed.

The wife and son were shocked and cried when they saw their house suddenly destroyed.

Once again Habbi asked the man to apologize to Alesse, but the man remained unmoved, he was still stunned to see his house destroyed just because of the encouragement of the little girl.

"Sorry, young lady! We know he's been so presumptuous, but if you tear down his house, what about his family? His children and wife are innocent" Habbi said.

"Thank you, your advice, grandfather. I'm not punishing him, I'm going to give him some appreciation. You are all human beings, you have the right to express your opinions and statements, not forever constrained by the words of others" said Alesse. He also approached the man who looked dumbfounded earlier.

"What's your name uncle?" alesse asked the man, he extended his hand to shake his hand. "Ro... Robert," said the man with slight fear.

"Maybe your house will be the first house we will build together. We're gonna make a better home!" said Alesse while showing the paper roll that he had been carrying.

"Lu.. awesome! What is this picture? Very detailed! You even made measurements on each line!" habbi exclaimed impressed, but the rest of the people did not understand what image Alesse had brought.

"My feelings are starting to get worse! Are you.... lest you.... you can't read?" ask Alesse. The residents shook their heads at once, only Habbi did not respond.

"Grandfather can still read this?" ask Alesse. "Of course, I'm the only person who's ever met our ancestors, I learned some knowledge as a child" Habbi said. Alesse also patted his forehead, he was confused how to explain the design of the house he was about to build.

"You can ask my help to explain this to them, young lady," Habbi said.

"Okay, starting today! We're gonna build a better house! It starts at Uncle Robert's house!" exclaim Alesse. People seemed excited, and they began to follow his directions.

"Why are you asking people to dig up the dirt in my house?" robert asked astonishedly, he did not understand what Alesse was doing.

"We'll make a foundation! This will make the house more durable and will not collapse when there is a big rain," said Alesse.

"Then, what are the soils formed into blocks for?" asked Robert curiously. Alesse looked back at him in astonishment.

"You don't know what brick is?" ask Alesse. "We just heard that it is a material used to make the walls of houses in urban areas" said Robert. "Well, we'll make it," said Alesse.

"really? This block-shaped thing is a brick?" robert was surprised. Even the people who started to print the lands were also shocked, they had no idea what they were actually doing.

"Truely, we only need to mix clay dough and sprinkle husk ash on it. After that....." Alesse began to think again.

"After that?" ask Habbi curiously.

"It looks like we've missteps!" Alesse. He started sketching again in a hurry.

"We're gonna make this!" said Alesse, he showed a block-shaped room.

"This what? It's like a house but it's smaller. "It's a combustion chamber. We're going to burn all those blocks of land" Alesse said.

"Why should we burn it? Wouldn't it dry when we dry it?" ask Robert.

"Drying and burning are different things. Drying is just an effort to reduce the moisture content of the soil, while burning aims to strengthen the soil" said Alesse.

Finally he made another concrete mixture to make it as a material for making combustion rooms.

"Young lady, why don't we use this pungent-smelling mud as bricks? Isn't this harder?" ask Habbi.

"Good question! The problem is that the amount of mud is limited, I can't kill, um, I mean we can't find where there's such mud. If we use land, we can get it from anywhere, even what you're stepping on now it's land. After the bricks of the clay are finished, we only need to arrange them to become a wall. We use a concrete mixture, um I mean this pungent-smelling mud as an adhesive between the bricks," said Alesse. Habbi nodded steadily, he was satisfied with his explanation.

During the day they finally managed to build a solid foundation, but Robert still felt dissatisfied with his curiosity, he continued to be pensive to see his house that had been flat with the ground.

"Is there a problem, uncle?" ask Alesse. "Why did you make a big hole under my house? Couldn't that hurt us?" ask Robert. Alesse laughed.

"Of course not! The hole will be covered with that pungent-smelling mud, it will not harm your family" Alesse said.

"If only to be closed, then what is the hole made for?" ask Robert. "Would you have seen it when it's over, you'd be very surprised" Alesse said.

"All right, I can't wait for it" Robert said. While their house was being built, his children and wife lived in Habbi's house.

Evening arrived, Robert seemed to be sitting pensively in front of the fireplace while people were having fun by eating together.

"Why didn't uncle join?" ask Alesse. "It's nothing, it seems like a lot of things I don't know in this world, even about home I'm still inferior to a twelve-year-old little girl. I'm sorry, I didn't mean to offend your age" Robert said.

"It doesn't matter, as long as uncle doesn't take my age as an excuse to underestimate me. We can't look at a person by age, uncle," Alesse said.

"I know, you are a noble, of course your degree is higher than all of us, even higher than Habbi," said Robert.

"You're wrong, uncle! It's not that I'm a noble, it's because I have more knowledge than them. Nobility is not a title that can make you have special privileges, sometimes even ordinary people who hate the nobles," said Alesse.

Robert finally felt enlightened, he immediately moved from the fireplace. "So what I need to do is find a lot of knowledge to be special?" ask Robert.

"Truely, of course you also have to pay attention to your adab and morals, your way of speaking, the way you deal with others, that's all people will judge and what they consider special," Alesse.

"When it comes to speaking, then why are you speaking so rudely?" ask Robert. "Because I don't need that, I'm not interested in being special" Alesse said.

"But you already look special in people's eyes" Robert said. "Unlike that elsewhere, my family regards the birth of a daughter as a disgrace to the family. They never considered my existence, nor did I need their recognition that I was a special person. There are times when you will be considered special to someone, despite all your shortcomings, he still considers you special," said Alesse.

"Heard you say that, as if you've outlived me," said Habbi who suddenly joined the conversation.

"So, Miss Alice! You're still here till late at night? What if your parents are confused looking for you?" ask Habbi.

"I will not be sought" Alesse said briefly with a smile, but he also disappeared immediately in the dark, he needed rest to live life the next day.
