5. Rooftops

The cloud seems to have disappeared from the sight of the eye, now the remaining sun is starting to return to its hiding place. The twisting of the wind at dusk, made Kaila stop thinking about what Dave was doing at the cafe. Currently changing Reynand, sitting quietly in the car seat, enjoying the twilight coupled with traffic jams that have not yet found a bright spot.

Kaila's hair has been dry since the rain, no clothes were wet. There had been no conversation since the incident, between Reynand and even Kaila, no one dared to start. Both are hesitant to say a single word.

Reynand complies with Kaila's request to stop at a cafe, which has a rooftop. Although the rooftop has not been built perfectly, but according to Kaila it is enough to see the beauty of the city, also the beauty of twilight.

After ordering drinks without food, they walked up the stairs, until they reached the rooftop. There is only one long chair with a round table. Kaila sat down, so did Reynand.

While staring at the twilight and the beautiful lights glittering from above, Kaila opened her mouth. "Where's the news?"

"Good."

They fell silent after the question was answered with just one word, their conversation halted until a waiter brought two glasses of drinks that had been ordered.

"Thank you Mba." Kaila.

Kaila and Reynand drank their own drinks, began to tell stories and joked at the sight of the twilight.

"Then, the cave was always hoping, that parting would never exist." Kaila said, recalling the incident this morning. Once his only hope was one, he didn't want to part with Dave, because that was his happy point.

"Everyone was hoping for that too." Reynand. He also had hoped so, hoping that the figure of his father would never leave his life.

Hearing Reynand's expression, Kaila looked at him cynically.

Reynand stopped laughing, but his countenance still looked pleased with the joke.
