CHAPTER 1 | LABILE

After driving Soobin to school, Hana now drives to the downtown clinic, the 2nd largest private clique in Seoul, where she works as an oral and maxillofacial surgeon. He has been a dental specialist for almost 7 years now and is great at what he does, it earned him the position of assistant director.

Hana couldn't help but worry because her husband was still jealous of her director. Since college, she has never liked Jeon Sangho because she has always helped Hana in any way. He was a young professor back then who greatly admired Hana's beauty and intelligence.

As soon as she graduated from college, she hired Hana as an intern/internship at the clinic until she had a position. Jinyoung, Hana's husband thinks that Sangho has a hidden desire for his wife, that's why he's always been kind to Hana.

That was not true at all, even though Sangho was a widower, but he never once teased Hana. She had indeed expressed her admiration for Hana's beauty and intelligence, but that was it. Sangho is just like a fan, nothing more.

He was in his final year of college and Sangho was one of his excellent mentoring professors. Hana was also pregnant for Jinyoung and was about to get married. The relationship between Hana and Sangho has never been more than students and professors who both love science and learning. Sangho thought with Hana's skill and dedication, she would be a great addition to her dental team. So Sangho only gave him the greatest opportunity in training, but it was all of Hanalah's leadership skills and skills that led him to that position.

Jinyoung still thinks otherwise. He sometimes accuses Hana of sleeping with his director, which is why he got into that position in such a short period of time. Hana just thought that Jinyoung must have been feeling vulnerable lately due to the improvement efforts. He is a songwriter and music producer, mostly rap and pop songs, but struggled when given the huge competition in the industry.

She used to be a sweet and considerate boyfriend when they were in college. They dated for seven years until she became pregnant for him. But Jinyoung has supported her when it comes to completing her studies despite being pregnant and marrying her. It was he who sent Hana to school until she graduated because she had been in the music industry since they were 19 and made a lot of money back then. Hana is just an orphan who accidentally meets Jinyoung while she is working part-time to make up for her lack of school fees.

Now, Hana's career is getting soaring. She felt Jinyoung was getting worried instead of being happy for her. Tonight, he had to be careful not to trigger Jinyoung's anger again.

15 Minutes before midnight. Heavy rain is pouring.

Hana came inside their house almost drenched as she ran to the door. He was so tired from being stuck in traffic because of the heavy rain, "Damn it! It's almost 12. I'm gonna die."

He went to their bedroom and as soon as he stepped forward, a powerful slap landed on his cheek. His eyes became cloudy as tears formed instantly.

"I told you to go home as soon as your doctor's appointment is over!!" shout Jinyoung.

"Please don't scream, Soobin might wake up." Hana shaking. "I'm stuck in traffic, rain for hours, I'm sorry." Hana crying.

Jinyoung grabbed Hana's hair and dragged her to the bed. He throws his phone in front of Hana, "Stuck stuck?? Or stuck with that bastard?!"

Hana saw Jinyoung's phone. It was a series of photos of him laughing and talking to Sangho with champagne in their hands. "What the fuck? Are you stalking me?! Of course, this was his clinic event! He's my boss, can't I talk to him!" Hana yells.

Another slap hit him. "Don't you dare raise your voice to me Hana!! You're not chatting, you're flirting!!" Jinyoung's tongue swirled in her mouth, with all her frustration she clutched Hana's jaw tightly and said to her face,

He released Hana's face which burned with anger and charged out of the room, leaving Hana trembling and crying on the bed.

In the bathroom.

Hana already knew it was going to be like this. It's always like this every time Hana does something related to Sangho, or whoever the other guy is out there. The most painful thing for him was not a slap, but an apology after that, then promising not to do it again. But after a while, Jinyoung still continued to do so. Sometimes it's just a little blow, but most of the time, it gets worse.

Hana just let her tears out along with a muffled scream in the throat. Hannah doesn't know what else to do. It keeps going around in circles. Hana felt Jinyoung would never change. Hana misses the Jinyoung she used to know during her dating days.

"What can I do to get it back?"

After the shower, Hana went to bed. Hana did not know where Jinyoung was, and she did not dare to come out of the bedroom.

An hour passed but Hana still could not sleep. He heard the door open. She knew it was Jinyoung, so Hana pretended to be asleep. Jinyoung lay down beside her and Hana felt Jinyoung's hand slide down her waist, hugging her from behind.

"H-hana, honey? Have you been sleeping? I know you haven't." Hana knows Jinyoung is crying. "I-I'm sorry, baby. W-I'm sorry I had to hurt you again." He whispered at Hana's neck. Hana could feel Jinyoung's warm breath. Tears fell from his face to the side. But he didn't speak.

"Please forgive me Hana. Promise me you won't do it again. Please promise me that you will not deceive me? Please promise me that nothing happened between you and that bastard."

"Hana, honey??"

Hana turned to face Jinyoung when she had gathered enough courage.

"Jinyoung, I never cheated on you. How many times do I have to promise that he's just a boss?" Hana cupped Jinyoung's face as she explained. He looked so gentle, so different from what he had seen on his face earlier. "I'm sorry for the pictures. I never thought it would look like that, but I swear I didn't do anything. I love you so much. I also love Soobin. I love our family. Please don't doubt me." again?"

"I'm so sorry, baby." He then kissed Hana passionately. Slowly, Jinyoung got on top of it, "Let's fuck baby?."

And the night just ended like that. After the slaps and curses, came moans, loud bangs, creaking and gasping for breath. Jinyoung was always like that, getting angry, going berserk, then making Hana make love to him, even she never asked if Hana was tired or not.
