A UNITY THAT CANNOT BE UNITED

A UNITY THAT CANNOT BE UNITED
A TERRIBLE ETERNITY

Ichi had a week to undergo the routine of the odd semester final exam. In a week's time, the activity will end. Many subjects must be tested and the Alkhairaat curriculum is so unique from the curriculum outlined by the Directorate General of Islamic Education of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia.

In addition to adopting the curriculum system of the Ministry of Religious Affairs, Alkhairaat based on pesantren cottage education also has its own curriculum applied to various levels of madrasahnya.

Ichi himself was really shocked and not used to learning the types of lessons such as Date, Hadith, Qawaidh, Tauhid, Fiqh Shari'ah, Mahfudats that are applied to regular learning. Those are the typical Alkhairaat subjects.

But the father once revealed, although he was not a teacher in Alkhairaat institution, that there are several types of subjects that are synonyms, even integrated in other subjects.

"The Date Lesson is very similar to the Islamic Cultural History curriculum version of the Ministry of Religious Affairs. Likewise with the Hadith, a little bit the same as the subjects of the Quran Hadith version of the Ministry of Religious Affairs" said the father when the two were involved in discussions a few months ago when the father was in Marisa.

"Fiqh Syari'ah is also synonymous with the subjects of Fiqh version of the Ministry of Religious Affairs. The Qawaidh and Mahfudats are specific parts of the Quranic Hadith subjects that are common versions of the Ministry of Religious Affairs. Tawhid is a specification of the subjects Akidah Akhlak version of the Ministry of Religious Affairs." continued the father.

"That means, the lesson is repeated dong." Ichi said in a protest tone.

The father laughed, "Actually yes." he said honestly.

"Well, tubazir tuh.." commented Ichi again.

"The two of you are not a determinant of the policy at the highest level of government." between Azizah sharply. "No need to support the curriculum."

The man glanced at Azizah for a moment without commenting.

Ichi suddenly triggered, "Abi.... It would be nice if humans could be immortal huh?"

Azizah and her husband looked at each other and looked at her daughter again..

"Why does Ichi think the eternity of life is fun?" the Fishing Rod of the Father.

"Yes, it's delicious." replied Ichi at will. "Imagine, we can do whatever we want" the girl said.

The man smiled, "So according to Ichi, eternal life is fun, is it?"

Ichi looked at the father. "Abi...what if we were granted immortality in this world?" ask the girl with an interested look.

The father was bearded for a moment with the reasonableness of his daughter, grasping an eternity laden with pleasure. The man smiled.

"alright... Abi will explain how the effects of immortality will be." the man then showed a picture to Ichi.

"What is this picture?" ask the father.

Ichi was stunned staring at the picture. He immediately looked at the father with a look of disgust, while Azizah immediately nauseated.

"Come, why would you look at this picture anyway?" sergeant Azizah and stood up and then stepped into the kitchen while slouching to withstand the nausea that shakes her stomach due to the picture shown by her husband.

"Picture of the monster Bi." replied Ichi with an uncomfortable face. "But what does this have to do with eternity?"

The father smiled. "Talking about immortality from the spiritual side is fun. But we will discuss physical immortality from the point of view of biological science" the man said. "If Ichi feels the exposure of Abi is not able to be digested because it seems brutal, vulgar and sickening... Abi can understand that." The man leaned his face towards his daughter. "Are you ready to listen to Abi's explanation?"

Ichi seemed worried for a moment, the attraction of desire, curiosity and horror alternately appeared in his mind. The father again leaned his body.

"You... are you ready?" ask the man again.

Ichi took a deep breath and gathered courage in his mind. Finally he nodded.

"Ready Bi!" says steady.

The father returned the mangosteen and finally straightened his body. After enjoying his daughter's curiosity, the man began to present his explanation.

"All the cells that make up our body precisely, for sure, will experience a cycle of Apostosis later." said the father.

"Wait.." interrupted Ichi.

The father stopped his exposure and looked at Ichi with raised eyebrows. Ichi squinted his eyes.

"What is Apostosis???" ask the girl innocently.

The father nodded and replied, "Apostosis is the process of death and regeneration of body cells." replied the father. "Have you ever heard of Hayflick Limit???"

Ichi. "What is Hayflick Limit?"

The father took a breath and replied, "The theory states that all the components of the human body will undergo the process of apostosis until it finally stops because it reaches the peak of development."

Ichi furrowed his brows. The father smiled. "Are you not that hard to understand?"

Ichi just shrugged his shoulders and looked again at the father who explained. "An event common to living things will cellularly replicate in the form of a complex network of deoxyribonucleic acid codes, aging and eventually reaching a stopping point called senescence."

The eyebrows on the girl's forehead are increasingly linked to hearing scientific terms related to the science. The father did not care and returned to his explanation.

"When our cell development reaches the point of senescence in the process of cell division, then our body development has been at its peak according to the initial design of the transcription factor of our deoxyribonucleic acid" said the father.

"Wait.." interrupted Ichi again, "What is deoxyribonucleic acid?"

The father smiled, "Deoxyribonucleic acid is one type of nucleic acid present in our body that serves as a storehouse of our nature and behavior and innate. The acid is found in the nucleoproteins that make up the cell nucleus" he replied.

Ichi still furrowed his brows. The father sighed and rolled his eyes, then replied again. "You know it better by the term DNA."

"Oooo.. said dong." said Ichi with a laugh. "Yes Bi, continue the exposure of the sensational system."

"Haah? Whahuh? Sensational?" asked the father, raising two and a half eyebrows.

Ichi stuttered to explain. Both of his eyes glazed over trying to dig out the word term. The father interrupted immediately.

"Senescence, you mean?" guess the father.

"Yeah! that'sthat's him! senescence!" Ichi exclaimed then grumbled, "It's hard to say that."

Ichi looked at the sky and massaged his chin. The father shook his head while cutting his lips.

"Say you don't know." the father quipped, "Pake your empty-brained pilosophical style."

Ichi just laughed. The father explained back. "We have two eyes, a head with a healthy brain in it..."

"Oooo.. I know!" exciting Ichi. "Two hands, two feet with five fingers.... Yes, right Bi?"

The father cut his lips again. Ichi laughed."Go on, Bi." he asked, "I'm sure the explanation will be as long as a train."

The father snorted and explained again. "In the fun. but not so fun... apostosis or cell death programs occur on average in adulthood with cell death of about 50 to 70 billion cells per day..."

"If you're my age, Bi?" ichi sela.

"If you are your age, the process of apostosis in your cells is only 20 to 30 billion cells per day." replied the father.

"Means.... technically.." said Ichi as he massaged his chin, "We experience the process of death and life every day.... Is that so????" knock the girl.

SNAP!!!!

The father flicked the foreshadowing finger justifying the child's assumption.

"Well, now we get to the core of the problem. Did Abi give you a look at the image of the monster when you asked can we achieve eternal life? Has it ever crossed your mind, why did Abi show you the image of the monster?"

"When we gain immortality, will our bodies be like that?" tukas Ichi with a disgusted face.

The father smiled. "Yes, we're going to find all our cells have cancer."

Ichi pulled his face. The father was fishing. "Have you seen the Marvel Studio movie? Film.... Deadpool... remember?" lure the father. "Wade Wilson, the Deadpool has a disease called cell cancer caused by a mutational process when he is treated with pain."

"But Deadpool isn't a monster, Bi!" ichi Struggles.

"It's just a science fiction film." said the father, "Although it is in accordance with natural laws in science but does not make logical sense, the cells of our body will undergo a program of apostosis. But when that cell growth multiplies abnormally and eliminates the hayflick limit law, then we've got cell cancer."

Mangosteen ichi. The father explained back. "In human medical science. from the branch of oncology..."

"Wait..." interrupted Ichi again, "Especially the Oncology?"

"The science is a branch of medical biology that deals with cancer, said Onco himself from the Greek word for tumor" replied the father.

Ichi mangosteen again. "Forward Bi."

The father again explained, "From the science of oncology, there are five cancer cells, namely carcinoma, sarcoma, leukemia, lymphoma, and neuroblastoma."

Ichi was about to ask but interrupted by the father, "Don't ask about that first."

Ichi just put his face in and took a deep breath and then the mangosteen again. "Forward Bi." she asked.

"Neuroblastoma is also called nerve cancer cells, actually, it is one form of benign cancer cells with the assumption that it does not attack vital organs so that it can easily be removed from the body through surgery." said the father. "When the tumor is already malignant, it spreads and is increasingly difficult to stop. There, the tumor is called Cancer."

Ichi took a sip of his salivation, realizing how great the consequences were for being physically immortal. The father explained again.

"Cancer cell healing depending on the stage will continue to multiply in uncontrolled amounts. Medical biology is called Immortal Cancer Cells. Not fun, is it?" said the father.

Ichi nodded with a clear face. The father nodded and explained again, "Makanya.. to inhibit the growth of cancer cells then the doctors will do therapies such as body tissue removal surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation therapy."

"Then...how's the story about being a monster?" tanya Ichi was curious.

The father laughed and replied. "Thank you like Deadpool.the most logical, yes.all cells throughout your body will grow crazily like the swelling of the tumor... like a raised eye on a leg or..."

"Ih.. so it's like a monster in the Resident Evil dong game.." said Ichi interjected.

The father laughed, "It can be." he said. "Cell growth is craze because it is exposed to the Warburg effect, which is where hyper efficiency of glucose and glutamine promotes the buildup of cell anabolism."

Ichi shuddered. The father then explained again. "Let's just imagine that process spreading massively throughout your body... "

Ichi immediately clenched his mouth and got up instantly running to the back. The father laughed at the sounds of people vomiting. Soon Ichi came back with a face that was wet with old water gargle-gargle and sat down again in his place.

"Why you?" ask the father.

"Ah, Ichi cancel that dream." said the girl. "Being immortal is no fun!"

The father laughed. "Eat him. be grateful that the cells of your body undergo the process of apostosis normally."

The two men sat quietly. The father immediately connected. "But the possibility of eternal life can happen."

Ichi's eyes immediately sparkled again. "When?"

"When scientists invented a technology. or a drug. to inhibit cellular degradation without making it a cancer cell." replied the father with a smile reassuring his daughter.

Ichi nodded happily. For him, enough is the possibility of utopian was initiated by his father. Azizah emerged from the kitchen.

"Let's eat.. Talk stuff that shit is so fun, huh?" sindir Azizah turned back to leave the husband and Ichi who replied with a lip smash.

"Choose Chi.." invite the father who rose up following the wife who had sat in his place to enjoy a serving of rice and vegetables plus tempeh and boiled tofu.[]
