• ^His Weakness •
The next day, Allena woke up with a blank look. Albern was next to him. Before bad thoughts enter the mind, greeting from the doorway quickly prevents them.
"Wake up, baby?"
"Tch, you're asking like a fool. Even toddlers can know just by looking at what's going on in front of him," scorned Allena followed by his coolness, then pressed his squeeze on the end of the blanket.
"It's just a stale base, don't take it seriously." Albern chuckled as well while swinging his legs to narrow the distance with Allena.
Seeing that, Allena panicked and quickly submerged herself under the covers.
"That's it, there's no need to hide it. Anyway I've seen ... even felt it last night."
"Uhm.. but ..." Allena covered her face which can be ascertained as red as a boiled crab.
Oh Gezz!
That shame should have disappeared by the time Allena herself knew everything that had happened.
Albern was still reluctant to leave and remained standing next to the bed with an annoying fluffy smile. "alright. Now that you take a shower there, I'll be back in five minutes" she said, ending in a teasing blink.
"What's? But, such a time would not be***-astaga, crazy vampire!" Allena stared intently at Albern's back which slowly drifted away and vanished at the intersection of the door.
In the end, inevitably Allena rushed to the bathroom to get ready. Though in fact he still wants to roll a blanket until noon, considering last night he had done an activity that was very tiring-facing ferocious creatures.
Feeling that his appearance had been neat, he stepped towards the door of the room about to come out. That was also with slow movements, because the lower abdomen still feels sore. Just about to turn the knob, someone from the outside had already preceded him.
"Al, you're surprising me!"
"Sorry," said Albern, then led the girl to sit on the edge of the bed. In Albern's right hand appeared a bowl that smelled the aroma of a tempting fried onion.
"Hm... Soup?" guess Allena, immediately replied to a steady nod Albern.
"Of course I can, I'm smart in everything."
Allena clucked while rolling a lazy eye. "Yeah, let's say I believe that. I mean, how did you get the vegetables?"
"Uhm, I woke up earlier than you, then went to town and went shopping." Allena stared at Albern intensely. "I did it on purpose so you wouldn't leave again" he slowly continued.
Allena breathed a tired sigh. He had expected that no matter how gently he treated Albern, the man would still not allow himself to return to his home. After all, he had no intention of escaping from Albern, for now and perhaps forever, the port of his heart was upon him. Not just his heart, but his half of his soul as well.
"Thank you, you've bothered to cook me."
"Don't say bother anymore, it describes me as weak."
"Huh, every creature certainly has a point of weakness. Without exception you. I admit you were great for me. But that doesn't mean you're the most powerful invincible figure in the world."
Albern nodded. "alright. It's up to you. Now, eat it."
Allena closed her eyes for a moment and exhaled, patient. Honestly, he was very anxious with Albern's attitude. From the first if given a rebuttal, the man's response is always the word Whatever.
But as he considers it a test of loving her, he will try to change the bad behavior Albern is still experiencing today. If he continues to be patient and diligent in changing it, Albern's personality may be able to get better.
They feed each other. Albern initially did not want to be fed, but because of whining accompanied by a heartbreaking look at the lover, he finally complied.
"Now I can find out."
Albern raised next to an eyebrow, puzzled. "You mean?"
Allena smiled mesmerizingly, then poked Albern's nose in a fit of anxiety. "Your weakness. That's me."
