"Haha, you've got to, you fucking witch!"
Just before Lila could untie the last bind on the goblin elder's magic net, the girl first got into the creature's trap. He did not have time to dodge and ended up trapped in the reserve net of the goblin elder.
Cia and Aliga's originally excited countenance turned one hundred and eighty degrees after seeing Lila getting entangled in a different net. Their hopes are gone.
The slippery-headed old goblin laughed out loud. He managed to catch three witches in one day and his stomach will be full until tonight.
"Well, stop. Our fate is on the threshold. Send my will to Mom if I die first." Cia has resigned. He looked blankly at the ground beneath him.
Aliga felt strange. Ever since he was captured and put into the net, he had already felt confused. However, as the goblin elder threatened to kill them, his confusion peaked.
He gave the code to Lila whose net was not far from where the man was currently. Lila turned her head and looked at Aliga who was trying to talk to her.
"Hey, don't you feel weird?"
"Huh?" Lila's confused. "What weird?" ask again.
Aliga pointed at the goblin elder. "The voracious green creature is ugly and does not know it's lucky it's been blatantly threatening to kill us."
"Then?"
Aliga put on a lazy face. "That means, he's crossed the line, stupid!"
Lila looked at Aliga. There is a point, too, he thought.
All he remembered from Mr. Moore's words a few days ago, he and his partner would just do a magic race and collect manuscripts. He never thought that this race would be that dangerous.
"Oh, you have a point too" concluded Lila. He looked at one corner of the field and found Miss Peony still sitting there blankly.
"Our hope is one."
Aliga squinted her eyes. He nodded to make Lila look. "What?" ask the girl later.
Aliga further pointed at Miss Peony. "What's he doing there?"
"He's drunk."
Aliga. His face turned increasingly irritated. "Truly not expected. It is useless."
"God!" Lila stared hard at Aliga. He was tired of all the accusations Aliga made to Miss Peony.
"You're blind or what exactly?! Didn't you see how the bubble could make all the goblins here fall asleep?!"
"No, I didn't see it."
Hearing Aliga's reply made Lila want to bite the man's mouth. He said it without burden. If only he could feel how panicked it was when it was almost caught by a goblin, the man would definitely not say such a thing.
"Damn. Besides, don't you make us like this?"
Aliga's ears became hot. Highlight his eyes sharply stared right at Lila's soul. "What do you mean, boy?!"
Lila laughed mockingly. He pretended to sniff his shoulder and said, "Ah, I don't know. I pretended to forget what happened just now. If not mistaken, there is a man who says that their companion is useless..."
"... the man did not believe that the manuscript he found was fake, was caught by goblins, and caused everyone to be in trouble. Isn't that right, Aliga?"
Lila satisfied. He was finally able to express all of his heart until the overwhelming relief. On the other hand, Aliga was already frustrated and regretful.
"But, can he prove that he is useful ... once again?"
