Not yet had the senior magician finished his sentence, a deafening explosion followed by a flash of bright red light visible in the sky of Azvara Forest.
The goblins who were dancing and kicking stopped for a moment. But soon, they returned to their usual activities as if nothing had happened.
Lila was aware that it was a sign that one of the groups had collected three magic manuscripts. But, who?
"Miss, there's already one group that's collected three manuscripts while we haven't got one. How'this?" Lila glanced back at her companion with a worried face.
Miss Peony instead smiled gently and calmed the girl down. "It's okay, we can't be rash. All we have to think about right now is the safety of Cia and Aliga. If they don't survive, no matter how many magic manuscripts we have, it won't be valuable at all."
Lila confirmed Miss Peony's remark. The most important thing right now was the safety of those two comrades.
Miss Peony finally got one plan. The woman hurriedly grabbed the bag that was in her sight, picked up the pen, then started to take down something. Lila leaned over her body in order to see the woman's writing more clearly.
"Our loss is this." Miss Peony raised her paper and showed the contents to Lila. There, he is seen drawing this field plan along with all the goblins that enter the radar of his vision.
He then pointed to one corner of the field and explained. "At every corner, there were at least two goblins standing guard for the safety of this event. Not only that, every two meters, there was at least one goblin watching on the sidelines."
Lila looked at the sidelines to prove Miss Peony's point. Apparently true, this edge of the field is crowded by a group of goblins who can not wait to see the show that will take place soon.
Lila let out her breath and sat down.
"But" continued Miss Peony, "Peony can cast Peony's drunken bubble magic to put all the goblins here to sleep, minus the elder."
"It's just right that his favorite drink is beer," said Lila.
Miss Peony stood up and opened her bag. Lila's surprised. The bag was filled with dozens of bottles of beer and red wine. Miss Peony smiled happily and then began to take out one by one the bottles of beer that were there.
"Peony likes to drink beer but is not strong against his hangover. One bottle alone was enough to make the Peony lose its consciousness. But unfortunately, the power of the drunken bubble requires Peony to drink five bottles of beer..."
"...Therefore Peony needed Lila's help to drink the beers to Peony. Lila would, right?"
The young blonde girl had a doubtful face. Never in his life had he seen it in person, let alone holding the bottle of liquor.
But how else, he had to do this all for the sake of his friends. Their time is not much left either. Hence, Lila nodded steadily while brandishing her thumb. "Good, Miss. Lila's ready!"
Miss Peony looks happy about it. He took a sitting position as comfortable as possible and began to open one bottle. Quickly, he gulped down all the drops of beer in the bottle until it was gone.
Strange reactions begin to be shown by Lila's companion. His eyes began to narrow, his breathing began to irregular, even his cheeks were met with red. Lila thought that it was time to carry out her duties.
The girl opened one bottle with great difficulty. The smell of alcohol instantly seeped up to require Lila to close her nose. He reflexively passed the beer on to Miss Peony.
And so on until the five bottles that Miss Peony took out were empty. The heavily drunk woman closed her eyes and grabbed her wand. He floated a few inches off the ground and began to cast spells.
Lila hope it works....
