90 Days Missing You's

90 Days Missing You's
CHOCOLATEY

At 06:00 I was already in Leonhart's apartment which was closer to the cafe. I would surprise him by visiting without informing the man first.

Standing in the hallway, I stared in wonder at the door of Leonhart's unit that was not perfectly closed. To my knowledge, Leonhart was not a careless person. On the front floor also lies a pink rabbit-shaped hairy sandal, which must belong to a woman because of the small size of the legs.

A little curiosity made me push that door. Darkened. I bit my lip and wondered, did Leonhart live with a woman?

Okay, a little bit of curiosity has turned into more. I stepped in without knocking. While carrying a heavy fruit basket, I slipped in like a thief. Who told him not to close the door properly.

Leonhart's studio apartment is bigger than mine. The window covered in thick curtains only gave a small amount of light into the room. Vaguely the shape of the kitchen appeared on the left, I immediately approached and placed the fruit basket there.

The sound of rustling from behind the closet bulkhead that blocked the view to the back of it, made me turn and wonder. I began to settle again, further into the apartment.

Damnit damnit! Why am I so curious?

Just as my feet reached the side of the bulkhead closet, the silhouette screams of the woman on the bed froze me on the spot. "Oh my God, Leonhart! There's thieves!" The woman who seemed to be sitting there immediately jumped down from the bed.

The shout awakened another larger silhouette. Deftly, that huge silhouette rolled to the side to reach out to something. The sound of a switch was heard before the room became brightly lit. I squinted my eyes.

"Yes! What are you doing here?" leonhart asked, his large voice showing his overwhelming surprise.

I'm understand. If in his position, I would also be very surprised to find my boss peeking at his employees who are busy. But I can't turn my face away. The sight of Leonhart bare-chested on the bed, stunned me. The man looked like an overseas perfume advertising model. While on the side of the bed, stood a slim woman in a disheveled sleeping robe.

I tried to swallow whatever was blocking the throat before answering, "A-I .. deliver the fruit?" Even though it was the truth, my voice sounded like an unconvincing tweet. Leonhart clucked, then revealed his coarse blanket. I glared, then I reflexively turned my body and rushed towards the apartment door. "I-I don't see anything, really!"

I felt my chest pounding very hard and my body trembling. I freaked. I don't know what I'm afraid of, but my legs are limp. Oh, myGod ....

"Stop right there, Yu." Leonhart's warning sounded from behind. I did not heed him and continued walking past the kitchen table. Just as my hand was holding the door knob, Leonhart's voice came back. This time it was harder. "Stop, or I'll resign today!"

A serious-sounding ultimatum made me peck for a moment. I bit my own finger, it hurt, it wasn't a dream. I can't lose a barista just because I saw him sick. Geez, I'm really silly for following such an out-of-place curiosity.

I heard a slug from behind. Before long, the woman in a sleeping robe passed me, her clothes were tidy. I took a step back to give him access. A cynical gaze roamed me from top to bottom, before that tyrannical face passed and closed the door.

"Why don't you know if you want to come here, Yu?" leonhart asked, his voice sounding closer towards me, sending out strange vibrations along the spine.

My fingers squeezed each other, my stomach felt heartburn. "I-I'm sorry for violating your privacy, Leonhart. Very sorry." I cupped both hands in my face in shame.

"Can you look at me when we talk?" leonhart asked, his voice so close to the ear before his warm body passed me.

Doubtfully, I opened my eyes and held my breath, finding Leonhart who was standing very close. He leaned his back against the door, as if blocking me from leaving. I was just thankful that Leonhart was fully dressed, even though the house shirt she wore looked tight for her muscular body. Again, I tried to swallow.

"If you are still sick, rest first. I'm here to see you, all delivering fruit. It was supposed to be me and Laura who were here, but she had some business."

Leonhart's eyebrows shot up, "Really? Your phone wasn't active yesterday either.""

"really. Regarding mobile phones, I just realized my phone died when it was in the apartment. Why don't you call Laura if there's something urgent?" I'm trying to calm down. Leonhart didn't need to know that I didn't go to her apartment yesterday because Max took me out to dinner, did he?

The man did not say anything, his gaze that explored the face, making my heart beat fast. I looked away, staring at the old watch whose skin was beginning to peel. The hour hand shows at 06:40.

"Oh, I gotta go, Leon. Hopefully it will heal quickly," I said while forcing a smile that feels awkward. I stretched my hand through his body to reach for the doorknob, but the door was held in weight until it could not be opened.

"The person I missed didn't come, Yu. I had to call Doctor Raisa, just now she checked on me again and said I was cured."

My lips make up the letter O. So, the woman's a doctor? What kind of doctor checks a patient under a blanket? I don't believe in his words. However, before my mind imagined the no-no, I immediately rebuked her, "Then, what else are you waiting for? There brush your teeth and get ready."

After Leonhart died, I could breathe a sigh of relief. It was fortunate that Leonhart was not angry about the incident. Just one question hung in my mind, could it be that Doctor Raisa and Leonhart are in a relationship?

At 20:30, the cafe closed as well.

Today is arguably amazingly crowded, either dine-in or take away orders. Laura had left the cafe first as usual. The day moves to and fro taking orders, Laura may be tired and unwilling to work more than her supposed working hours.

Actually, Leonhart was able to come home as soon as her working hours ended at 20:00, but Laura asked her not to leave me alone for a Toblerone chocolate bar. I grinned as I looked back, seeing the man muttering a song while chewing the Toblerone that Laura had given me. His hands lightly rearranged the order of the chairs and tables and wiped them clean.

While washing the last glass and plate, a thought about the incident this morning made me ask, "Leon, I was wondering, are you and Doctor Raisa uhm?"

The mutter stopped, and Leonhart's voice asked, "Why? You jealous?"

Oh, my gosh. Again that question. "No, I'm just curious."

"Do you also want to know what we did in the dark, this morning?"

Leonhart's question made me look. The black bead of his eyes seemed to glitter in the dim cafe lights that had been turned off by half. "Not that! I'm just asking if you and her-"

"Doctor Raisa this morning climbed up my bed and-" The man began to move from his place-tracing the order of the neat-tiered table-towards me.

I hurriedly wiped my hands and closed my eyes when I saw Leonhart moving closer through the rows of well-arranged tables and chairs. "Don't continue! Please, I don't want to know the details. You've stained my eyes this morning."

"God! Really so? What the hell are you looking at?" Her voice was low and defiant, her warm stroking body signifying she was already in front of me.

I pressed my hand deeper into my eyes, as I replied, "I won't tell you."

A gentle touch on the lips, made me hold my breath and fall silent. Then once again the soft object touched my lips, this time I immediately let go of my hand to look for what had just touched my lips.

"What did you just do, Leonhart?" ask me while squinting my eyes suspiciously.

"Errr .. touch your lips with this kanebo. Hmmm, you seem to enjoy it."

I turn my back, it could be her- "Ah, damn it! I can have a barista like you! Pueh! Pueh!"

Leonhart laughed, then threw the canoebo into the sink. "Yuk's home!"

I glanced at Leonhart who was moving away, checked everything and turned off the lights. While I hurriedly took off the apron and picked up the bag, then followed him out of the cafe.

After making sure the rolling door was locked well, Leonhart returned the key. Then, the man stepped back while making movements with his index finger and thumb, as if to take a picture of me. "I like your hair that was broken like this morning. Nite, Yu!" He grinned and turned away.

I stared at his back which was moving away, missing arising in the light of the street lamp. Unlike Laura, every day I always pout my hair in an efficient ponytail style. However, due to the rush to Leonhart's apartment and my hair was still wet, I didn't do it this morning. Leonhart's words flashed again and made my cheeks hot.

I poked my lips and was surprised when I tasted chocolate. When do I eat chocolate? Is kanebo the former wiping the chocolate sauce spill on the table? I poked my lips again, weird. It doesn't taste like chocolate sauce. It feels like ... chocolate bars?

Didn't Laura just split her Toblerone chocolate Leonhart? A thought flashed through my head, I turned my head and took a breath in surprise.

There's no way Leonhart----
