90 Days Missing You's

90 Days Missing You's
DATING FAILED

"I've been in Indonesia, just one day here. I'll pick up at seven."

I stared at the touch screen to make sure that the message from Ryuichi-san was meant today. I thought the Japanese mas-mas were just joking by giving me an envelope with a date. However, the next day, the man with very black eyeballs sent a short message from Japan telling him the news there.

Ryuichi-san also asked me a lot of things, such as hobbies, my favorite food, and relationships. The latter was actually a little short-sighted to answer. However, given Laura's information that Ryuichi-san is Max's friend, maybe he wants to make sure I don't have any relationship with Max anymore. I said I am currently single.

It's not that I have a crush on Ryuichi-san. The man's face was quite handsome, and I don't think it's wrong to accept his date. It's my debut to start dating someone else again, and hopefully after that, another date call will flow. In business, his name is Penglaris.

There's actually a bit of discomfort, because starting something with a new person feels weird. And, if I had to choose the old man, hm..-I glanced at Leonhart who was decorating the top layer of coffee latte-it felt unethical.

Ting! Leonhart rang the bell and Laura came to pick up a coffee latte ready to serve. I hurried to turn my face forward. A few paying guests distracted my attention. The point is, I'm glad someone took me away, at least my fate wasn't so unlucky that no one wanted me anymore after breaking up with Max.

"You got a date tonight?" ask Leonhart from behind. Then, his tall figure appeared and leaned against the cake window, next to the cashier table.

I looked at Leonhart suspiciously, "Where do you know?"

"From your makeup. Laura and I have been talking about you since morning, don't you know? With the Japanese, I guess." Leonhart let out a deep breath before saying, "You don't want to go with me, and instead choose a stranger who doesn't have a clear background. Aren't you afraid of being fucked by him? Yesterday you saw he had a bodiguard?"

Leonhart's gaze shone with worry, and now he made me worry too. I forgot that he had some kind of bodiguard. Well, how is this?

No, I can't be scared. When will I be afraid? To be the wrinkled old maid everyone left behind? Cold and without love? Where did that thought come from?

"Oh, wait a minute!" I remembered something. Immediately I grabbed the bag and reached into it. "Don't worry. I've got an antiseptic spray, 90% alcohol%. I'll use it if he messes around. I also bring a match, if he's reckless, I'll light a fire and spray this alcohol to create a burst of fire." My mind creates shadows that make me laugh.

"You want to go on a date or play a circus, anyway?" Leonhart laughed, then confiscated the antiseptic and matches from my hands. "You can go to jail for your ridiculousness, Yu."

"Then what do you suggest?"

"Don't go." Her thick, angled eyebrows rose up to the trunk of her nose and her beautiful eyes were clear, "Please ...."

Oh, Leon ....

"You know, I have to go, right? Don't you also want me to move on from Max immediately? And who knows, after this I'm a socialite who works the streets." I punched his arm, and raised a smile. "Trust me, I can take care of myself."

"The thing is, you're too naive, Yu. Oh, what the hell were you and Max doing during that five-year courtship? You don't know what if a guy's desperate for lust, do you?" I looked at Leonhart who was changing slowly, from compassion to frustration. "You ... aaargh, you ...."

"I why?"

"You're beautiful, that's what she wanted to say, Yu," chirped the newly arrived Laura, her hands deftly refilling the containers for sugar and creamer.

The sound of tongues rang out from Leonhart. "Hey, don't interfere. Please let me finish my own sentence, okay?" hardik Leonhart, then the man turned back to look at me. "Yu, I think, you-."

The door bell rings, indicating guests are coming. I looked up and found Max staring at me. Max, although his clothes were always that - that's it - white shirts, ties and black wool suits - always fascinated me. His gaze today was different from before, he was watching me closely, as if we had just been met for the first time.

"Yuri, I'll see you later, maram" said someone, who made me distract from Max.

My face must be red at this time. How could I not see Ryuichi-san standing next to Max. "Oh, yes, yes" I replied.

Ryuichi-san and a guest, accompanied by two well-styled people accompanied his steps to the seat at the end, while Max was still unmoved in front of the cashier. His gaze still did not turn from me, was this one of his jurors in court to agitate his opponent until they finally pleaded guilty?

Well, I don't feel guilty, I haven't even done anything. If Max wants to protest about my date with his guests, I don't think that's his business.

"Does you want to order something?" I was trying to get my ex-lover out of front. Shit, why is my voice shaking? I wanted to cry under her sharp eyes.

"What's the matter between you and Ryuichi-san, Yu? Did he ask you out? Did you agree to his invitation?" Max's eyes narrowed, probing. Now I know how a banana feels when it peels off its skin.

"That's none of your business, sir." I raised my hand to stop his curiosity. However, I was shocked when Max caught my hand and held it at the table. I thought he'd hurt me for bothering his guests, but he didn't. His grip felt soft and warm.

"It's my business now."

"W-what?" Not to mention I finished asking, Max has already gone to see his guest.

"Max doesn't agree with you going with that Japanese guy either" Leonhart said from behind.

"Surely he thinks he is who, I guess I am. Just came here to make badmood."

Leonhart answered me by raising her shoulders. "But, this time, I agree with him."

Huh!

I insist on not looking back, the place where Max and Ryuici-san were. My annoyance is still not quenched, does Max really want me to be tormented? Menjomlo for life, and hope he picks me up again? I've admitted that I regretted breaking up with her, so what else does she want?

Aarghs! It felt like flipping the table in front of me and kicking the cake window next to it.

"Yu ... Yu, I want to pay" Max said. I don't know how long I've been swearing in my heart, I was surprised to find the person I cursed standing in front of me

"Eh? Oh ... okay. Double espresso, americano grande, cappuccino, and food. All so Rp.753,000,-." I took Max's credit card and waited until the machine issued a proof of transaction.

While I offered the proof of the transaction to sign, I turned my gaze in the other direction so as not to have to look at Max. Looking at how his black hair was tidied up. Staring at his slightly soft fingernails. I'm sure he's been trying not to bite his nails anymore. Or perhaps, someone had already replaced me to remind him not to nail any more. There was a feeling of sadness sneaking in, when remembering it.

"Come, Makasu-san, hurry. I have a date today with Yuri," Ryuichi-san asked. The lips framed by the thin whiskers revealed a confident smile to me.

I replied with the sweetest smile I could make when Max was in front of me. A moment later, the party passed with Max. Then, I was stunned as I stared at the proof of the transaction that Max was supposed to sign. Instead of getting Max's signature, on the paper there was even a very familiar handprint.

DON'T GO!!! he wrote, complete with uppercase letters and three exclamation marks to make sure I understood the contents. What the fuck? Why is everyone telling me not to go? Anyway I have to go, care demon!

At 20:30. Until the cafe closed, I wasn't picked up yet. Ryuichi-san promised to pick up at 19:00. Are Japanese always on time?

Standing on the sidewalk, in front of the cafe, Leonhart handed me the key while asking, "You haven't been picked up yet?"

"Yet. Maybe he's not interested in me. Is there something wrong with my makeup, Leon?"

"none. You ... perfect." She laughed, does that mean she feels happy that I didn't go on a date with Ryuichi-san?

A notification came into my number, I hurriedly shifted the touch screen and was shocked. The notification came from Max: Don't wait, we're having fun.

Following that, a photo shows Ryuichi-san holding a mic in a dark room, karoke, with three guide girls half-naked.

"Look at you!" I said as I stuffed my phone into Leonhart's hand. "Aargha! Fucking max!!!" I'm going to Max's bureau of lawyers. Some passersby and motorcyclists turned to me, I did not care if my voice echoed dozens of kilometers away.

My tears spilled unstoppably, surely Max had planned this. I took off my high heels violently and slammed them on the sidewalk one by one, not knowing where to vent my anger that had reached its peak.

Leonhart, who was crumbling behind me, made me look. "What's so funny? Do you think my misfortune to get a soul mate is funny, huh?"

"Uhm .. no, it's not funny at all." Leonhart tried to laugh. His expression made me cry even louder, as if to say my reaction was no more ridiculous than a high school boy experiencing monkey love.

"Come here, Yu."

I pulled him into his arms. I could not resist, and I cried even more. His hand that was stroking my back, slowly gave off a warmth that eased the storm of emotions. Under the dim street lights, Leonhart hugged me tightly, waiting for my tears to turn into sobs.

"Well crying?"

Leonhart cupped my face and smiled. A Leonhart smile like this should be able to tear down the Chinese wall, but now I can only stare at him with half-opened eyes due to the swelling.

"Yeah, I'll take you home."

I nodded weakly to answer. Thank you, Leon.
