It's Sherin's birthday

The sunlight penetrated through the gap of the curtains of the room window, shining into the eyes of anyone inside. The man in the blanket furrowed both eyebrows because he felt glare. Ralvin squirms across joints and muscles. Last night, after the last meeting at his father's company, Ralvin flew straight to Jakarta. His longing for Indonesia cannot be restrained anymore.

Today Ralvin is lazy to go to the office because he feels his whole body is being hit by an elephant. Ralvin opened the blanket and moved down from his bed. Lazily he walked to the bathroom in the room to wash his face.

A few minutes later, Ralvin was done washing his face and brushing his teeth. Now he feels fresher than ever. After returning from the bathroom, Ralvin sat on the edge of the bed. He picked up the phone on the table and typed something.

"I hope Daniel can take my place at today's meeting" Ralvin told himself.

Ralvin stood up and walked out of the room. His stomach was already asking to be filled because last night he did not have time to eat.

"Bi, what's cooking today?" Ralvin greeted the housekeeper who was cooking in the kitchen when he was coming down the stairs.

Ralvin's house was huge with three floors and a spacious courtyard. Ralvin's own room is on the second floor. The kitchen is located between the second floor stairs and the dining room combined with the family room.

"This is fried sambal with Aden's favorite salted fish" said Imas, a 45-year-old woman.

"Auntie always knows what Ralvin likes, thanks Bi. Come eat" Ralvin.

Ralvin was already very familiar with the household assistant. She had considered him as her mother's successor while she was in Australia. Once a month Ralvin would buy gifts for Imas and his family at home.

"Thank you Den, but auntie has to wash clothes first. Auntie take Aden's clothes in the room yes" Imas said politely.

"Yes Bi. Oh yeah, it's in Ralvin's suitcase. Then take a auntie yes" said Ralvin while sitting at the dinner table.

At Citra Jaya's office, Sherin had just entered her study. How surprised he saw the condition of the workspace that is not as usual. Balloons scattered everywhere, birthday trumpets rang and eight employees wore conical hats.

"Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday-happy birthday, happy birthday Sherin!".

Everyone sang a happy birthday song while clapping their hands to enliven the workspace on the fourth floor.

Sherin immediately cried when she saw Dita and Filly carrying a birthday cake with a twist of the number 24. He was also very moved to know his new friends remember his birthday even gave a surprise like this.

"Happy 24th birthday, Sherin" said Hendry, standing next to Dita.

"Thank you, I'm happy and moved" Sherin cried with a smile.

"Well, this time I saw Sherin crying" Filly said, hugging Sherin.

The employees who were not very close friends with Sherin took turns to give Sherin congratulations and birthday gifts. Sherin accepts all of that with a happy smile and teary eyes. Only this time his birthday was celebrated even though it was only a surprise, song and congratulations.

It was Hendry's turn to give him the card. Hendry took something out of his pants pocket. After that he gave me a very cute and beautiful necklace.

"May I put this around your neck?" asked Hendry with a sweet smile.

Hendry put a necklace in front of Sherin's body. With such a position, Hendry who looked behind Sherin's shoulders, made the two of them almost kiss. "So he said he had come to the office" said Daniel who is now in Ralvin's room.

They sit on the couch. Ralvin had just arrived at the office and called Daniel to come to his room.

Ralvin's phone shook, and Ralvin quickly reached into his pocket. After looking at the screen of the phone, the smile on Ralvin's lips instantly expanded. He put his phone in his pocket again.

"Later anter I went to the doll shop huh" said Ralvin still smiling.

"When did you like dolls?" Daneil laughed chuckling.

They chatted for almost two hours, after which according to Ralvin's request, Daniel drove Ralvin to the doll shop.

At break time, in the office cafeteria, three women and one man were sitting in the corner. They were laughing about something. In front of them was plenty of food and drink.
