"Angel! Angel,"

Edsel chased after the retreating Angel and started walking away. But at this moment Meida suddenly held her hand.

"Edsel, you lied to me!"

Edsel turned his head and looked at Meida for a moment. She subconsciously stomped Meida's hand which was tightly holding her hand. "I don't understand what you mean,"

"You said you haven't met him. But Angel said-"

"Does that matter?" cut Edsel hunt. His gaze was hot because he was panicking too much. "We're busted. Our relationship has been broken."

"Then why?" ask Meida in the same tone. "Why if he finds out? We love each other. Can't you just leave it? We already have some of hers,"

"You're crazy!" maki Edsel stepped up and ignored Meida's words. It makes Meida furious and chase after Edsel. Both entered the house simultaneously. And they were all stunned when they saw Angel was already at a family gathering.

A few minutes ago Angel walked into the house. He walked and did not care about the people behind him or around him. He just wanted to take a shower and sleep. Today was exhausting for him. He had not even eaten dinner yet but it felt like the two pests he had just encountered in the back garden of his house were very annoying. But just as he was about to climb the stairs, his footsteps were stifled as Alex called out his name.

He approached and stood quietly looking at the few strangers staring at him. The thing he realized that some of the people sitting on the bench were Edsel's parents and other siblings. He bowed for a moment as a greeting of courtesy. But Alex pulled out her hand to sit between them all.

"Angel," call Alex softly. It made Angel goosebumps because Alex never treated him like this. "Family meeting this time is to determine your engagement day,"

Angel smiled thinly. His eyes narrowed, with a flat expression. He glanced at everyone in turn and said, "Uncle, that's impossible. Me and Edsel are over" his voice soft and dignified. There was no disappointment on his face. Only calmness and a sickened look occasionally flashed.

The lightness instantly broke the atmosphere. They all whispered to each other not understanding. Then all eyes looked at Angel sharply. Especially Alex.

"Angel, what are you saying?" ask Alex coldly. "Don't joke, this isn't the time."

Angel's gaze turned to Alex, "Uncle, am I in your eyes like a child that you can easily control? And this meeting, why didn't anyone tell me before? Did my uncle forget? I'm the owner of the Excel family!" Instead of answering, Angel prefers to reinforce his position.

"Angel," Alex said he didn't like it. Obviously this made him look bad in front of the Clovis family. As if he wasn't anyone entitled to the Excel family. "Am I not your Wal? Do I not have the right to regulate your happiness?"

The words were quite clear though not loud. As if Alex would be hurt at the words of his nephew. It was emphasized that Angel always denied and behaved badly to him indirectly. With this he also dropped the image of Angel in the eyes of the Clovis family.

Hearing that, Angel gave a small laugh. Making everyone look at him clueless. His gaze swept across all eyes in amusement. He did not expect that his uncle would act this smooth to aggravate him and destroy his image. He's not stupid. Everyone wouldn't believe that he's the heir to the Excel family because he never showed up at an important meeting. It was all because Meida had arranged everything for her to get busy by herself and Meida took over her place.

"Uncle, don't you know?" angel asked scoffed. "Edsel and Meida are lovers who love each other. They stabbed me in the back. Do I have to marry my cousin's boyfriend? I'm not that bad,"

And after those words fell, a commotion sounded. It was a big secret and Angel just opened it. But Angel knew that it was all a charade. He remembered very well, that all the plans of the Edsel, the Clovis family also knew.

"Angel, that's impossible" Alex interrupted with a surprised look. His face looked confused and embarrassed in front of the Clovis family. Angel even observes it all. And it's very natural.

Suddenly Edsel who had just entered shouted quite loudly. Soon Meida followed and stood beside Angel.

"Your cousin, I don't understand. Why are you accusing us. Didn't I explain, we don't have a relationship." explained Meida gracefully. His voice looked clear and soft. Like it would soften anyone who heard it.

Act very gently and clarify all by blaming Angel indirectly. Edsel had arranged the plot to make it appear that Angel was just angry and that everything Angel said was not true.

"Why not?" ask Angel coldly. His eyes looked at Edsel defiantly. "We're over,"

Edsel laughing. "Angel, you've been weird ever since you had an accident. Are you sick? Come on, I'll get you to check it out,"

Edsel grabbed Angel by the hand and pulled her. Angel did not step at all. He took his hand off Edsel's grasp violently.

"Stop!" said Angel coldly. His eyes swept the door of the house occasionally. This is all enough. Everyone treated him unfairly and thought that he was stupid. But he's getting tired. He will not survive to bear his emotions that will explode.

"And out. Get out of my house right now!" angel continued firmly with a slight shout.

All were stunned when Angel's orders sounded resolute. It was very serious and there was no sign of cuteness there.

"Angel," cried Meida, Alex and Edsel together.

"Get out" said Angel again. His hand pointed at the door with a cold look. "I want you all out of my house! Because there will be no engagement what else is marriage!"

The disappointed look of the Clovis family sounded. They stepped in with anger and a look of disdain that was fixed on Angel.

"I didn't know that the Young Miss candidate who had been chosen by Edsel was so bad,"

"Broast and ignorant of manners!"

"Did he think he could mess with the Clovis family? Let's wait, what happens next."

"I wouldn't call him a cousin even if he was married to Edsel. Really bad!"

The abuse was clearly heard when Clovis' family left the Excel family's main house. When all is gone, it's just Alex, Meida and Edsel. They were all clear, staring at Angel wrathfully. No more skit there. Now it all comes back to their own colors.

"You satisfied?" ask Alex coldly. Then a loud slap landed on Angel's cheek. It was very fast and Angel did not get away. "I've been too patient with you lately. But you're getting so clueless! Do you think I'm afraid of you? Know your place and be good! I need you to stay engaged to Edsel,"

And then Alex left. Leaving Angel still holding her hot cheek.

Seeing her father slap Angel, Meida is thrilled. He immediately approached Angel with his hands crossed in his chest. "Don't try to climb to higher ground. Just follow that request, and then you'll be happy. Isn't that not hard?"

Angel smiled faintly, raising her head to meet Meida. But it's wrong. What he was looking at right now was Edsel. He didn't know Edsel had approached and grabbed his chin. He turned his face to look at Edsel straight. Clearly, he heard the threat from Edsel's lips.

"Be good and don't act. You know I don't like being bothered. And never dare to say we're over! I'm not gonna let you go that easy,"

Angel tried to move backwards but couldn't. His eyes stared at the heat as his jaw grew more painful as Edsel's grip grew stronger. But he won't bow that easily. No, he's not going to go to hell that's gonna ruin his life.
