At the other end of the table Adrian stands when the name Excel is mentioned. His mouth twitched softly with a firm command spoken. "I'll pick him up!"
Before the receptionist answered, the phone was closed. He looked at Angel who was standing quietly. Researching Angel once again and still do not believe that in front of him this is the heir of the Excel family. He has worked in this office for over five years. So he knew who Adrian's lawyer was connecting with. So this was his first time, he saw an heir who looked like an ordinary person. Not showing wealth looks so pathetic.
"Angel!"
Angel and the receptionist turned their heads as heavy voices rang out. If he didn't see it with his own eyes, the receptionist wouldn't believe that the girl in front of him was really worth it until Adrian's own lawyer came down to pick him up. He lowered his head for a moment and smiled, hoping that Angel would not trouble him at all.
"Uncle Adrian," said Angel softly. His smile widened as he saw the fifty-year-old man approaching.
Adrian smiled warmly. Hugging Angel without cueing. He could see, how the girl in front of him was so thin. He even recalled, that this little girl used to be very familiar with him. Then because of each busyness, he seemed to forget and the relationship was tenuous. It is clear, however, that he has been an Excel family lawyer since he was young.
"It's good you visited me. You finally came. Come on in, let's go in first and talk inside,"
Angel said when Adrian asked him to come in. He follows Adrian who first enters the elevator. Towards the twelfth floor, they only glanced at each other once in a while and smiled.
"Follow me" Adrian said as the elevator opened.
Angel complies and ends up sitting in a large gray and white room. The room was very neat with many files arranged on each shelf. Then at the main table, he could see clearly, the engraving of the name, Adrian Aglilio.
"Drink first" said Adrian by offering a cup of hot coffee.
Angel nodded and sipped slowly. He looked at Adrian who was looking at him.
"Say, what's the matter until you meet me and don't tell me to come? Then the bandage on your head, are you okay?"
Angel's outstretched hand touched the bandage on her head. "I'm good, uncle. It's just a wound from a minor accident. Then I came to ask for help,"
Adrian's forehead shriveling. "What can I do? Say it slowly, then I'll help you."
"Uncle, didn't uncle hold the will you left behind?"
Adrian nodded. "All in your name. All assets except one. Company,"
This time Angel's forehead shriveled. How could he, he thought.
"You have thirty percent stake in it. Then your uncle holds thirty-five percent. The other thirty-five percent are shareholders outside the city."
"How can you?" ask Angel unconsciously. He recalled hearing Adrian recite the will the first time. It was all hers. And his uncle is nothing.
"You ask? That's what I asked too. Were you threatened or did you experience something? Why did you just hand over your shares to your uncle back then? I'm so shocked and angry with you. That's why I never came to see you,"
And Angel woke up. No, this part he doesn't remember anything. As much as he tried to remember, he felt he had never given his father's shares to his uncle. But this person before him confidently said it all.
Seeing the confused Angel, Adrian moves towards the document line and searches. After being found, he searched in his personal safe and found an Excel family document there. He took it and handed it to Angel.
"Read it first. You signed it and I made sure your signature was real."
Angel received and checked the documents. As if awakened, as his eyes moved looking at the rose logo on the tip of the paper, the memory of the owner of the body rose. That was a long time ago. And it was really him who signed it.
When it was clear, he remembered. Meida is in a hurry as she is about to take him away to arrange her date. A letter that Meida and Meida gave him did not let him read first. That cunning girl didn't let him read the letter in her hand! And he believed in Meida a lot. Then he was very happy because he was going on a date with his girlfriend. Until he signed the letter. So now what? Wasn't he just too naive and innocent? Too stupid and easy to use?
"Uncle, here, I made a mistake. Me, me, me-"
"Then this," Adrian cut impatiently. His hand gave Angel another new leaf. "Read and reflect. Are you sure you're going to marry him?"
"Married?" repeated Angel unconsciously before reading the letter in her hand.
"Read. I was holding you back from signing it. Do you remember?"
Angel read the letter in her hand and widened her eyes. She clearly saw the affidavit that she would knowingly let her lover take over and take care of all her property. And that was a year and a half ago!
Fuck you Angel! Maki Xin Narra is hard on the heart. Are you blind or do you crave love! You can make a mistake like this! You are so stupid to the bottom of the abyss!
"Uncle, this-"
"The good thing you hold is the copy. And it's fake. I faked it for you at the time. And this is the real one. You haven't signed it."
Angel received one more sheet of paper and breathed a sigh of relief. Thas right. There was no signature on the beamatrai. He was really breathing a sigh of relief. He's still safe.
"Angel, what's wrong? You can't remember everything?" adrian began to suspect.
Angel shakes. "Uncle, I just came to my senses from a long sleep. I was in a car accident and in a coma for three months. I just came to my senses two days ago,"
Adrian jumped in shock and stunned. His eyes scrutinized Angel and stared in concern. He doesn't know this news at all. He didn't know that his best friend's son was going through something like this.
"You just realized? Why didn't your uncle tell me when you were going through all that? Why they -"
"Uncle, stop. I'm fine now." cut Angel to Adrian's comfort. "I'm totally fine."
Adrian breathing a sigh of relief. "Nothing, it's only natural that you don't remember. It must be because of the effects of the accident you've been through."
Angel nodded. Then he handed over a document in his hand. "Here, can I pull my shares back from my uncle?"
Adrian looked at that point and shook his head slowly. "No. You can't pull it because it's perfectly legitimate."
Angel was disappointed. Then I looked at Adrian for a moment. "So, what things do I still have uncle?"
Adrian opened another letter in his hand and read slowly. "You still own a thirty percent stake, then all the resorts in Alaska that your father owns are also some overseas. In total all about ten resorts. And several star hotels in various cities of Alaska."
Angel stunned. No, he just found out. Is he this rich?
