Han and Celin seemed to be in another world because the bustle of the market was completely inaudible to their ears. The eyes of every human being who was there for the two of them seemed to not disturb their vision space. Both seem to be in the wild in the middle of green plants that spread over the earth and there are only them there. No other creature was seen.
It was just that neither Celin nor Han were aware of it. They were so excited to talk to both of them. Focus on listening to the interlocutor with a heart that begins to feel comfortable with each other. Unwittingly the spark of romance begins to creep in the heart.
"Last night.... " Celin wanted to ask what happened last night because he didn't remember completely but he still felt awkward towards Han who he had rejected last night.
"Who was the guy last night?" Han asked expressionlessly.
Celin turned to the man standing next to her a little backwards. Indeed he was handsome unfortunately he was not the one I was looking for, inner Celin admired Han who was now looking towards the front.
"Han's name, he sent me his data and he's probably the Han I'm looking for..." Celin said while playing his fingers. He himself is not sure of that now.
Hearing that, Han turned to Celin with an angry look. He thought that this beautiful girl was too naive. Actually he wanted to get angry but Han knew that he had no right to treat Celin like that.
"The way I talk is similar to my Han....." Celin said with a disappointed look.
"Then....?" Han could still be patient hearing Celin's explanation.
"But when I asked him to tell me what happened back then. It turns out he's not the Han I'm looking for. He's not my Han..." Celin said in a sad tone.
Han grunted harshly hearing Celin's words. How could a girl as beautiful as this be obsessed with someone in her past.
"Koh....!!" Aya's mami's voice resuscitated the two from their unfinished conversation.
"Yes mi....!" Han rushed to his mother and swiftly picked up the bags of groceries in Aya's hands.
"Mami want to take Celin around the market papa no Koh....?"
"Continue?"
"Shop waiting in the car. After this, the children take their mami's groceries there...!" Obviously Aya.
Han glanced at Celin clearly if he felt any objection to parting from Celin but unfortunately the girl seemed to have no time about it.
"Sik....want to take a photo for a moment, can you?" Asked the female employee who had been serving Sofiyah while whispering in her ear.
"Ask me directly.....!" Mami Aya said teasingly. "You asked for a photo he said...." Sofiya pointed at the girl with a head gesture.
"Hehe....!" The girl was even grim. Han and Celin were both looking at her. Though only seen but has made him groggy half dead.
"Who's same? Koko what's nonic?" Ask Aya to the girl.
"Emm.. both are Ms...." The girl replied, whispering again.
"Celin want a photo of him?" Mami Aya asked Celin who seemed to feel uncomfortable.
"Once a time, yeah...!" Sofiyah rubbed Celin's shoulder slowly so that the girl would take a picture with the store clerk girl.
"the hunt...Tin.... Just once! We still have an event after this...!" Said Aya giving permission.
The girl named Kartini immediately positioned herself in front of Han and Celin who are now standing close together to be seen on Tini's camera. Kartini smiled with her fingers forming the letter v . Unfortunately the two people behind him were just silent with their eyes staring at the camera.
Czechoslovakia!!
"Once again, oh.. smile....!" Kartini whined because the first shot was not good.
"Suda....!" Aya said unkindly to Celin who looked like she was depressed.
"Come one more time....!" Han instead asked for a re-take because he also wanted to have a photo with Celin.
Celin looked at Han as if asking why. And Han replied with a smile.
"Smile plis....!" Han said as he looked at Kartini's camera and showed off his handsome smile at the flat-shaped object.
Chekka....!
Han took Kartini's cape and checked the results. He smiled because he was satisfied with the result.
"Send to mami yaa.!" Han whispered to Tini which made the girl meet red.
Hopefully he did not get it wrong and kegeeran because of it.
"Be careful mami.....!" Han said as he brought his tent back and went from there to get to his car park.
One of the male employees then followed Han with a cardboard containing the ingredients of Sofiyah's cake.
Meanwhile, Aya's mom took Celin and took the girl to the market hawker. Sofiyah usually buys a lot of traditional snacks to treat the longing for her mother. In the past when their families were in their jaya-jaya mami had several times bought him traditional snacks. And he still remembers that until now.
" I'm sorry yes..if Celin is not comfortable with Indonesians who like to ask for photos of the same bule-bule" said Mami Aya by tightening her grip on Celin because the market is crowded.
"I'm still an Indonesian aunty. It's a little strange our society is but yes what can be done .... We are treated like artists when we are ordinary people and Indonesians as well.not Caucasians as they think" replied Celin with a louder voice because the bustle of the market drowned the sound of both.
"cake Ci......!" Greet every hawker stand guard when you see Aya.
"Please be raided in the attack.... !!!" The baritone voice of a man thundering filled the market passageway. "Traditional market exposure with a variety of flavors and looks from areas throughout Indonesia that are not inferior to foreign snacks...... Let's let's.... !!!! Sold cheaply only. Only one thousand to five thousand..... Come come come come come come on buy bought bought bought!!!Cheap festive......!" A fat man wearing a t-shirt and a sarong was peddling his sales in front of the stall using a retractable rabbit hat and the ears of the rabbit would move up and down.
Sofiyah then pulled Celin there because she was interested in the promotion made by the middle-aged father.
"It's so cheap aunty....!" The whispered Celin who did not understand.
"Buy one get one instead of free one....!" Said Sofiyah explained that later realized by Celin that it was just a word game from the trader.
"Seek everything three yes!" Aya said to the mother who was serving the buyer, maybe his wife the father.
"This abbis yes ci....!" Said the overwhelmed mother serving the buyers.
"Yes...." Answer Sofiyah while looking at various snacks with various forms and variants. This is the first time he's been here. Usually he bought a similar snack like that in the corner store stand at the intersection of the exit. Interesting promotions make people interested in buying here, including Sofiyah.
Celin saw the place of sale was quite clean even though there were still flies flying around the cakes on display. All wrapped in plastic or leaves.
Celin only realized that many took pictures of him secretly as his gaze spied around the surroundings.
"Hi....!! Can I have a photo?" Said a girl who had secretly filmed Celin.
Celin smiled stiffly as he felt uneasy about the situation. Already hot and jostling this even ask for photos of everything. He felt his calmness disturbed.
Sofiyah who saw it then immediately took the crackle that had been prepared and took some interesting food and immediately gave it to the father to calculate how much he had to pay. It turned out that the father was also in charge of becoming a cashier because he had received money and gave change to the buyers.
" Look, baby...!" Said Sofiyah encouraged Celin to smile at the girl's camera even though Celin had not expressed his willingness but the girl had already pointed her camera at herself and Celin.
"Thank you .. Sorry we're in a hurry!" Sofiyah said with a smile to Celin's impromptu fans and immediately pulled the beautiful one away so that they could quickly get out of the crowd.
Sofiyah invited Celin to run out of the market area to the parking lot because since entering the market the crossbreed girl became the center of everyone's attention.
"Huft huft's...huft....!" Sofiyah's breath was wheezing when the two of them had reached beside Han's car.
"Why mi?" Han hurriedly got out of the car when he saw his mama breathing breathlessly as if being chased by people.
"Let's go in first....!" Aya said while handing over the crackle she brought to Han. He was still trying to neutralize his irregular breathing.
The three of them immediately got into the car and occupied their positions as before. Han in front as the driver while Mami Aya and Celin were sitting in the passenger seat.
"Well, that age can't lie. It used to be normal to run, now run a little tired already half dead..." Aya's hand is still holding her chest that is beating fast because of the sport that is done suddenly without warming up first.
"If you're young it's delicious.... " Aya's eye beads looked at the girl sitting next to her. He was envious because Celin did not look tired at all.
"In the Netherlands we used to walk. If the journey is far enough we usually use a bicycle...." Celin explained.
He felt like he was in the middle of his family. He also began to be awkward again to say at length in front of Sofiyah and Han.
"Yes yes, in Indonesia it's a little bit of a car ride. Rarely do they like to walk. Besides, if Celin walks like that, maybe everyone was like that. Everything on asking for photos. Yes this is us.. Indonesia" Sofiyah sighed considering the habits of Indonesians are his habits as well.
"Just wear a mask so that it doesn't look beautiful" Han joined the conversation between the two women sitting behind him while his eyes focused forward.
"Celin is beautiful, huh koh?" Tanya Mami Aya teased her son.
"And every woman mi?" Han tried to outwit himself.
"Hm.....!" Sofiya cleared his throat to hear his son's answer.
"How long have you been to Indonesia? What is culture shock?" Sofiyah asked while looking at Celin who was still beautiful.
"Since High School I have never been here again about 5 or 6 years ago. Last time saw the market was quite surprised also the problem was as I recall. time passed in front of the market like a slum it used to be. Now it is quite clean and the place is more organized even though compared to the Netherlands is still very far away. What made Celin shocked earlier, when the people were. I think I've bought anything with crackles. Buy vegetable use crackle, buy tempe use crackle, buy out this use crackle, buy it using crackle. In the Netherlands since 2016, the government has imposed a ban on free plastic bags.
Education is given to the community so that everyone knows the dangers of plastic waste. If it is thrown away
most will end up in the ocean, which as a result can be dangerous for the survival of the creatures in it.
Even though it is wasted, plastic waste cannot decompose quickly. It takes up to 1,000 years until it decomposes properly and disappears from the earth.
Shopping centers and bakeries and meat stores also apply the rule by asking buyers to bring their own bags from home or they can make up for it at a fairly expensive price. There are also those who give bags of paper if there is a buyer who asks for a bag of crackles.
"Hopefully in the future all Indonesian people will also run the same thing together. So we can do a little good for our environment. Though earlier my mother brought her own bag but forgot when she saw Celin in the assault of her fans" she said while opening her bag and took out her neatly folded grocery bag.
"What fan attack?" Han asked curiously.
"That was on asking for a photo. if according to Mami anyway if there is a person asking for a photo yes just a moment just keep not forgetting the smile.
Mami used to be like you guys so that suddenly fitting the same way papi someone asked for a photo. It feels strange and quite disturbing to our comfort. But one day Mami had seen there were many Indonesian artists whose haters, who sang fake addresses, did not know who? That he always said that if anyone asked for a photo must be in the past, the reason he said, the name can be big as it is now because of the fans. It's hard to give a little time while smiling, but it can make other people happy. He said so, even though he was the one of the installments.
And the Indonesian netizen is Masya Allah. Anything can go viral. There are also Indonesian artists who are recorded not wanting to be asked to take photos with fans. That was until the news. Finally he clarified, it turns out he said he was in a hurry to have filming kok instead intercepted to ask for photos. Finally he apologized if he could not fulfill all the requests of the fans.
So... you guys until later become famous because you don't want to be asked to take photos"
Celin looked at Sofiyah's sparkling eyeballs while telling a story. He remembered his mother who was quieter than the woman next to him. He missed his mother.
"Celin wants to call Mama Aunty...?"
"Yes please ! I miss her mother...."
"Too much..." He answered while picking up the phone in his small bag.
Han and Sofiyah were only listeners when Celin called her mother. Celin speaks Dutch sometimes mixed English and Indonesian.
