Perturbed

Ahmad parked his car in front of Andini's parents' house, he came in hopes of seeing Andini back

It always is, even if there are never results. Ahmad was never desperate

Tok...! Tok...! Tok...!

The door of the house opened a moment later, Ratih's face, Her mother-in-law appeared from behind the door

"Assalamualaikum Bu" Ahmad said, kissing the back of Ratih's hand

"Wa'alaikumsalam Son. How are you and your mom? Healthy?" Ask Ratih

"Alhamdulillah Mother. Mom and I are healthy. Where's Mom?" Ask Ahmad

"There is a similar behind Salwah" replied Ratih

"Little? Who's Salwah Bu?" Ahmad was confused

"The older cousin of Andini we sent to school in Al-Azhar. He just came home a week ago" explained Ratih

Ahmad nodded his head then rushed to the backyard to meet Gunawan-His father-in-law

"Assalamualaikum Pak" Sapa Ahmad kissed Gunawan's back hand

"Wa'alaikumsalam's chat. Where have you been Mad? How did you come today?" Ask Gunawan

"Sorry sir, I'm a bit busy with the teaching schedule" Ahmad replied

"Oh so.... Meet, this is Salwah, your wife's cousin's sister" Gunawan said

Ahmad stared at Salwah briefly. Salwah extended her hand to Ahmad, smiling

"Salwah" He said

Ahmad cupped his hands together in front of his chest to return Salwah's hand

"Ahmadis... We are not mahrams, so we cannot touch each other" Ahmad tried to explain.

Salwah lost his smile and pulled his hand from before Ahmad. Gunawan chuckles

"You go to school in Al-Azhar, but you don't know such trivial things. Are you really in school or not?" Gunawan

"Uncle said what the hell? I went to school" Salwah replied rather annoyed

Ahmad looked at him sharply.

"Do you put your mouth in Al-Azhar? Talk to your parents and have good manners! Don't yell!" Ahmad gave a warning

Salwah fell silent, Gunawan patted Ahmad on the back so that the man did not grow angry

"Mad Already... Let's go to your room and talk there" Invite Gunawan.

Ahmad followed Gunawan's steps towards his room, while Salwah did not stop looking at the man's back in annoyance

"Wait... You'll see how I avenge your scuffles!!"

"Andini hasn't come back yet, if that's what you want to know" Gunawan said

"I'm sorry sir, it's all my fault" Ahmad said, for the umpteenth time

Gunawan looked at his son-in-law with pity

"It's also Mr. Mad's fault... If that day you did not expel Andini for daring to return home after marrying you, maybe you can still unite at this time" said Gunawan, regretting

Ahmad remained silent. Gunawan stared out the window of his room, recalling the past

The Flashback

Ten years ago

"Would you like to go back home? Hurry back to your in-laws' house!!" Gunawan yang on Andini

"Sorry sir, but I'm not going back there. Brother Ahmad has kicked me out, he does not love me sir and he will marry another woman" Andini explained

Gunawan looked at Andini with wrath

"Father don't want to hear any reason!! Anyway, you should go back to your in-laws' house and stay there. Ahmad's business to marry again, no problem!! Does Islam prohibit men from polygamy??"

Andini stared in disbelief at Gunawan

"Father who forced me to marry at a young age, and now you're forcing me to accept that I'm going to honey? What do you really think?" Andini asked with tears that she could no longer bear

"What you want is for you to go back to your in-laws' house! If you refuse, please leave this house and never come back! You're not my son anymore if you challenge what you want!" Gunawan's last words before Andini actually went and disappeared without a trace. Yep... Andini hasn't been back since.

Flashback off

Ahmad sipped his tea and said goodbye to Gunawan to go home. He went down the stairs to the bottom of the house. Salwah was waiting for him

"Andini will never come back.. So just accept your plight that oscillates" he said sharply

Ahmad turned to look at Salwah angrily. Salwah smiled at his victory because it made Ahmad angry

Salwah walked closer to Ahmad

"Al - jaza min jinsil amal. Replies will be in accordance with the deeds! Those who do good will get good and those who do evil will get bad rewards. That is the divine provision. One of the principles of many principles that affirm that God is all just and all wise" said Salwah

Ahmad was silent in his place

"You were betrothed to Andini unconditionally, but you wasted her, kicked her out, polygamous without her consent.. Now look.. What did you get for your actions? Karma!!" Cibir Salwah blatantly

Ahmad wanted to retaliate, but what Salwah said was true

"Oh yeah... Another cruelty you committed.. You haven't touched Andini at all since you got married" Salwah added

Ahmad looked back at Salwah, this time with a surprised look

"How do you know about it?" Ask Ahmad

Salwah laughed softly.

"I know my brother better than you know him. She won't be that easy to get away from your side if you've touched her. She is the type of woman who is bound. But because you haven't touched it.. That bond never existed" Salwah replied

"I pray that Andini is given a much better soul mate than you.. Because I'm sure he's happier without you?" Salwah firmly with loud

Ahmad was only able to escape and rushed into his car. Shortly after the car door closed, Ahmad looked again at the photo of his wedding with Andini

"That's not true, is it? You're going back to me, right? Your love is only for me, right? Andinis!!"
