the Life of Ahmad

Isma came to water the plants on the front porch of her house when Ahmad went out to work that morning . Ahmad looked at his mother with the same feeling ten years ago. Guilt

Ahmad approached and grabbed his mother's hand for her Salami as usual. Isma did not respond at all , instead he reoccupied himself with the plants in front of him .

"Mother misses your father" Lirih Isma

Tears dripped back on the middle-aged woman's cheeks, Ahmad turned back to look at her.

"Ahmad apologizes Mom.. Ahmad regretted everything that had happened" Ahmad said .

"If you don't make you hurt, you,... If you hadn't married that unlucky woman you love so much .... You must still be in this house" The sobbing full of pain was repeated .

Isma turned to Ahmad and returned unconcerned . Ahmad pitched his legs full of guilt that never ended.His memory goes back to ten years ago .

Flashback.

"I'll marry Ziona Pa" Ahmad said

"Mother and Father will never approve of your marriage to that woman!!! The daughter-in-law in this family is only Andini!!! There will be no other!!! Khalil cried, wrathful

"I just love Ziona sir!!! Ziona will be my wife !!! With or without the blessing of your father and mother!!!" Reply Ahmad, while leaving both parents .

He came to Andini who was studying in the room . They stared at each other from a long distance away. Ahmad had never once been close to Andini as long as they were husband and wife.

"I'll marry Ziona!!!" Ahmad said firmly.

"I don't want to be in polygamy!!!" Reply Andini is no less firm .

"I don't need your opinion !!!If you don't like me marrying Ziona, you can divorce me and leave forever from my life!!!"

Andini looked at Ahmad calmly, smiling .

"I'll walk out of your life if that's what you want, but one thing never happens ... I will never divorce you until I die !!!

Andini completely walked away from her life just hours after their quarrel that day, Ahmad was finally free to marry Ziona despite not being divorced from Andini. However, what happened was even outside of the thoughts and common sense Ahmad .

Ziona killed Khalil . His own father-in-law !!!

Khalil was poisoned with large amounts of money, so that his life could not be helped . When the police investigated Ziona, Ahmad could only look at him with anger

"What's on your mind??? Why did you kill Father???" Ahmad shouted in anger .

"Your father deserves to die!!! He always prevents me from mastering what you have!!!" Answer with an equally loud scream.

Flashback Off .

Ahmad has since divorced Ziona and thrown him in prison . But things never change . Her mother never thought it existed again .

"Free of you divorced that unlucky woman, Andini will not keep coming back ! Your father is gone... You are my selfless son!!! You are also a useless husband!!!" Ismi's voice a month after her husband died

Since then Ahmad tried to find Andini and wanted to take him home . But all his search efforts have not resulted in anything . He never found Andini, the woman seemed to disappear in the swallow of earth.

All Ahmad can do is stare at the photo of his wedding with Andini which is displayed on the wall of his bedroom, on the dashboard of his car, and also in his wallet .

Yep... Ahmad started falling in love with Andini when it was too late . His feelings grew slowly and turned into opium when Ahmad had no way out for every problem . He always saw his wedding photos as an escape from the fatigue he was facing ..

"Hey... You where? Let's go home ... I miss" Bisik Ahmad lirih .

Ahmad had just finished teaching in the ninth grade when someone suddenly chased after him and embraced him until he felt surprised . That person was Aldo , Andini's best friend when they were in school at Junior High School where Ahmad teaches today .

"What did Ahmad think? daydreaming continues..." Sindir Aldo

Ahmad just.smiling

"Thinking of my wife who never came home" replied Ahmad honestly.

"If Ahmad's brother is so in love with Andini, why did you throw him out ? Ask Aldo .

" I'm Khilaf Do, I was blinded by his love for Ziona so I didn't realize that I already had a wife who loved me unconditionally" Ahmad replied

Aldo's not getting it

"No idea where Andini loves you unconditionally?? Sister married to Andini who lives only 1 week, right?

Ahmad smiled .

"From his way of defending our household Do. I always asked him to divorce me, but the answer was that he was only one ..that up to any moment, whether I loved him or not, whether I loved another woman though , the only thing that will never happen in my life in the future is a divorce from him" Ahmad explained with tears welling up in the corner of his eyes.

Aldo re-embraced Ahmad .

"Then Kaka can't give up, just find Andini's sister and bring her home" Aldo assured .

Ahmad smiled and nodded . Aldo's right, he won't give up .

'Yes ... I'll keep looking for you until we meet again. Didn't you say yourself, that in my future I won't be divorced from you. Meaning ... You and I will always be together, right???' ..
