The middle-aged woman then walked towards the room to call Lidya, should the daughter welcome the husband when she came home from work.

"Where are you going? Can you accompany me for a minute? There's something I want to talk about!"

The middle-aged woman stopped her footsteps and looked towards Devan. "Mom wants to wake Lidya up, son!"

"No need, Mom!"

The middle-aged woman was forced to walk back to the sofa, and sat right in front of Devan.

"What's up, Devan? Did Lidya make another move?"

Devan smiled in response to the mother-in-law's question. "Mom, I intend to divorce Lidya!"

"What?"

When the middle-aged obedient woman stood up when she heard Devan's words, her voice also echoed in the room making her husband come out of the room.

"What, didn't you hear me wrong, Devan?"

Devan shook his head. "Sorry Mom, but what I said is true. Looks like me and Lidya don't fit anymore, and it's better if we're-"

Devan could not continue his words when he saw his mother-in-law immediately turn around, and walked quickly towards his room.

"Lidya, wake you up!"

The middle-aged woman banged on Lidya's bedroom door to surprise her husband, and tried to stop what he was doing.
