Wound Spot

Wound Spot
Numbness

Aira remembered that night, before she actually left her luxurious in-laws' house. After he finished putting some of his clothes in the suitcase, he finally descended back before everyone who had been waiting for him, rather waiting for his departure.

Only some of the clothes he had brought, the clothes he had brought from his grandmother's house. She knew enough not to bring all the clothes her husband gave her.

Before actually leaving the room that had been a silent witness of all her stories with Azka, Aira took out a rectangular box that might be her last gift to Azka. The ballpoint pen that he hopes to be able to bear witness to all their hopes and ideals, turns out to be a witness of the dark night that he will continue to remember.

Each step he took was like a clockwork that was getting less and less for every second. He was in front of everyone, clutching a suitcase filled only with clothes he bought himself.

Aira tried to take a quiet breath, even though the suitcase in her hand tightened. He saw everyone one by one and last he looked at Azka who had become her ex-husband.

There was silence in the living room that night. Azka was now sitting down while looking down. Both hands are placed on top of the thighs. There was still a tight jaw there, but Aira could not see the look on her ex-husband's face. He saw a long face that from now on will no longer be possible he saw in his daily life.

This is the end of their story. Just because of a misunderstanding, Azka dared to take a decision that would change the fate of the two of them.

Aira stared at the suitcase that felt like it was ready to take her out of this house.

"I thank you for receiving me so well in this house." It felt like there was a dagger stabbing right in the mouth of his heart while saying every sentence that came out of his mouth.

"Thank you for all your kindness for accepting someone like me in this magnificent palace." No one wants to talk yet.

"I hope that the truth will not be revealed so that you never feel the name of guilt."

"I'm saying goodbye...."

"What do you want to drink, Mom?" Tanya Maudy, Azka's wife when they had arrived home with all the family. Only Reksa and her sister, Clarissa, did not come home because there were other activities.

"White water, baby." Her reply made Maudy nod a smile and asked her two in-laws about the same thing.

"Take it the same, son." Answer his in-laws.

After Maudy passed from there and was not seen from the reach of the family room, then Widya's aunt, sitting next to her son.

"Why was there Aira in the restaurant where we had the event?!"

"No idea, Mi." The answer is bodo. But different from the contents of his brain that is still thinking about meeting his ex-wife in the restaurant earlier.

"May the woman still have face to face in front of our family after what has been done first!" His speech revealed an unacceptable look considering the holy-spirited face of his former daughter-in-law.

"Udahlah, Mi. The past let it pass. You don't have to point out other people's mistakes anymore. Let's just, anyway, Azka is now happy with Maudy." Prasetya, Azka's parents. Indeed, Om Prasetya rarely speaks, but once speaking all immediately submit. And indeed only Om Prasetya who has not been too involved in the household affairs of his son. Whatever his son's choice, he will accept.

If this Maudy, they are indeed betrothed by Aunt Widya. Aunty Widya had long been willing to unite her son with Maudy, even before Azka came to bring Aira.

After the divorce of Azka and Aira, Aunt Widya was very keen to persuade her son to propose the son of her husband's business partner and his housewife. Which, Maudy is the child of a family equal to them, educated and of course clear origins. Different from Aira.

A year after her divorce with Aira, Azka returns to refrigerator mode, cold. The effects of disappointment and heartache over the betrayal of Aira, making it so numb to open the heart.

However, after several meetings with both sides and with Azka's consent, an engagement was finally held. Not long after, the wedding was held. Of course with a luxurious party, different from the wedding that not many people know other than the family.

The magnificent party held at the luxury resort owned by the Fahreza family, became a warm conversation among the most famous businessmen of the country.

And it did not take long, finally Maudy was pregnant with Azka's first child who had been waiting for a long time.

For a moment the talk about Aira was stopped by the arrival of Maudy who carried three glasses of water on a tray.

"Diminum, Mas, Mi, Pi."

Aunt Widya smiled and stroked the black mane of her daughter-in-law.

"That's a big deal for you, son. There are Mbok who can take it. You are, of course, pregnant young, so tired is something to avoid. For the sake of the health of the beloved granddaughter, Mami's in the stomach." Do not forget to wipe the stomach that has been seen the lump.

"It's okay, Mi. Ambulins doang white water will not make me soy sauce. In part, said the doctor, even though I was pregnant the activity still had to be done. If I'm tired, there will be Mas Azka who I will repotin." Candanya looked at Azka with a smile. Everyone in the living room laughed at the remark, Maudy who looked very spoiled at her husband.

"You could say you could answer that." Azka said while pinching his wife's pointed nose which again made everyone look happy that night.

"His joking. It's gonna be 10 in the evening. It is not good for pregnant women to sleep too late, it will affect the health of your child, you know. Take your wife a break, son. Your wife must be tired after all day." Aunty Widya's decree to her son-in-law which after that, both of them were saying goodbye and headed to her room on the second floor.

After the two finished cleaning themselves, the two also lay on the mattress with a thick blanket accompanying.

"I'm happy with everything God gave me this year, Mom." Maudy said in her husband's arms. Azka faithfully heard his wife's words as her eyes glared forward.

"Marriage and having a child with you was a dream of mine. I'm grateful to have you by my side, Mom. Thank you, yes, for being the husband and father of our son." Maudy continued to chatter in her husband's arms. Expressing all the contents of his heart that was bloated and happy to have Azka by his side.

Azka replied with deheman while occasionally stroking his wife's back to sleep and no longer chattering.

Azka's laughing session continued after there were no more sounds she heard. The silence made her even more distant looking at the figure of Aira. Zahira Kamila Guftana's.

The meeting was as if opening a hijab that he was trying to close all this time about his ex-wife. Azka hates half-dead on her ex-wife. But it can not be denied, at some moments he considers Maudy as Aira. There was still an unfinished speck of taste still stored in his heart.

"I'm sorry." He said in his heart to Maudy because all this time, he had a marriage without love in it. It felt different after he got betrayed and disappointed from the people he once loved so much.

Azka only undergoes the household hick without any taste in it. Call it dead. All this time what he appeared in front of everyone, including in front of his wife was falsehood.

It is hard to open your heart again.

And at the time he met Aira again, there was a sense of disbelief to see Aira was fine after what had been done first to him.

You evil woman.

Her resentment made her do something crazy that made her feel relieved to have hurt Aira.

Azka let out her slanted smile at the thought of the plan she had in her brain. A little bit of playful it felt like he hadn't done it in a long time.
