24. Empty Stares

After giving birth to her son, Inez suffered severe bleeding due to the shock of her soul which was unable to control her emotions.

Iko felt shocked and was devastated to see the condition of his wife. Inez collapsed after her blood pressure continued to drop.

Iko lay down next to his wife. I don't feel like time has entered the night. The two slept together in one bed.

Morning arrives. Inez who opened her eyes looked silent. Iko asked him to speak instead of being ignored. His eyes looked empty without meaning.
