"Where's it good, Mom?" ask Bi Sumi.
"Enak. Thank you very much Bi" said Laila.
"Either. Aunty came out, ma'am" said Bi Sumi.
"Yes Bi" said Laila.
After Bi Sumi came out of the room, Laila pulled out her blanket. He can't sleep. Look at the ceiling of his room. His head twisted Bi Sumi's words. Pretty disturbing for him.
"Duh, how is it? Do I have to go back to Jakarta? What's the cake shop?" laila Mummings.
Almost an hour Laila was arguing with her own inner self. His heart and logic are not in line. In the aftermath of his anxiety, Laila woke up bad luck. Almost seven o'clock Laila just woke up. His body feels weak. Instead of waking up, Laila pulled the blanket back.
"Mom" call Bi Sumi.
"Yes Bi," Laila replied with a typical hoarse voice of waking up.
"Can I come in?" ask Bi Sumi.
"Look in Bi" replied Laila.
Bi Sumi walked in and looked at Laila confusedly. It's an effective day, not a weekend. But Laila was still at home with the blanket rolling up her body. Not as usual. Laila will get angry and panic when she wakes up.
"Mother's sick?" ask Bi Sumi.
"No Bi" replied Laila.
"Not to the store?" ask Bi Sumi.
"Holiday first, Bi. I called the people at the store to ask for the store handle, "laila replied.
"Oh that. Yes, I'm here to let Auntie massage again" said Bi Sumi.
When Bi Sumi's hand touched Laila's leg, the pregnant woman pulled her leg. Bi Sumi stared in confusion. Things Laila never did before. Not wanting to misunderstand, Laila immediately explained the reason she pulled her leg. Right now he just wants to sleep again. His eyes are still sleepy. He promises to go out and eat when he wakes up.
"Yes, Aunty has come out" said Bi Sumi.
"Yes Bi" replied Laila.
After the door of her room closed again, Laila immediately positioned herself comfortably and slept. He deliberately did not set an alarm and asked Bi Sumi not to wake him up. Today Laila really wants to enjoy her time. Indulge himself by giving his free time.
Unlike Laila who was enjoying this day with happiness, Bi Sumi was anxious with Laila's attitude. Several times Bi Sumi saw the door of Laila's room that looks still sealed.
"Mom Laila why? Is she not angry with me?" mummified Bi Sumi.
Laila's different attitude than usual made Bi Sumi feel guilty. He thought Laila was angry at his suggestion last night. Bi Sumi sat pensively while holding a cup of milk coffee. His head thought about what kind of apology he should say to Laila.
"Hasnaa," cried Kayla.
Bi Sumi was shocked. A glass of milk coffee he immediately stored on the table. While he soon hunts down Kayla and Hasna. He was worried that the two would fight again. These days, the two do not get along very often. There is only fighting. But Bi Sumi responded casually.
It's natural. And one day it will be a memory for both of them. Brother sister who lost the love of her biological parents as if often seeking attention from people around. So Bi Sumi patiently calmed the two.
"Why else, Kay?" bi Sumi asked when she saw Kayla holding Hasna's hand.
"That's Hasna," Kayla replied as she pushed Hasna to embrace Bi Sumi.
"Inadvertently Brother," said Hasna in self-defense.
"Don't lie!" kayla said in a higher voice.
Bi Sumi tried to mediate between the two. It turned out to be a commotion between the two of them as Hasna stepped on Kayla's new shoes. Things are not too fatal but make Kayla look very angry.
The commotion turned out to invite the arrival of Laila. Pregnant women who had locked themselves in the room and had made Bi Sumi worried about finally coming out too. Laila looks neat and fragrant. He approached and asked the reason they were both fighting.
Hasna and Kayla were sitting where Laila wanted to be. While Bi Sumi went to the kitchen. Bring drinking water for all three.
Laila reminded Hasna to be more polite to Kayla. He also reminded Kayla to be more gentle with her sister. Kayla was crying.
"He doesn't know how much these shoes mean" Kayla said, crying and hugging her.
"That's dirty. Keep it under aja," said Laila.
"Don't want Ma. It's the most special thing I've ever had. These shoes are from Papa Deri" said Kayla, crying as she pleased.
"What?" ask Laila.
Laila's lips twitched. Hearing Deri's name, Laila felt her body go limp. The dark past just came out. Haunting her life that already feels calmer.
"I don't know where Papa is now. But these shoes were delivered on behalf of Deri" Kayla said.
"Where's the address?" ask Laila.
Kayla also gave the address and number listed in the shoe package. He quickly took his phone. But Kayla immediately informed him that the number was off.
"How could he send all this to you?" ask Laila.
His chest was pounding fast. Between anger and fear shackles Laila. He's really worried. Especially when Kayla also apparently did not know about the existence of Deri. It all started with Kayla who often posts photos and long posts on social media.
Everything he felt was told in that writing. Suddenly a letter came to the address. Giving the news that he is Kayla's real father who has been missed. Kayla returned the message to the address. But the letter came back. He said the address was empty. No one lives there.
Kayla finally wrote it all back on her social media. Three days later, a package came for him. Still from the same sender and address. Things that make Kayla happy even though she could not meet her biological father.
"Who knows he's just a prankster. So do not tell our home address to random people," said Laila.
"Nobody asked for my home address" Kayla said.
"So she knows where this address is from?" ask Laila.
Kayla just shook her head. Laila was confused. Just like Laila, Kayla was confused with the mysterious sender, but all was not thought of Kayla. To him, knowing his father was alive and just remembering him was more than anything.
"Don't reply to chats or calls from strangers" Laila said.
"No stranger chatted or called me" Kayla replied.
All this time there was no communication from the mysterious person. Kayla only received one letter pack and a shoe pack. That's all it is. Perhaps the mysterious person was observing what Kayla had posted all along. There was no courage to show who he was.
Laila was only afraid that the mysterious person would take advantage of the situation. He's on Deri's behalf to let Kayla off guard. Kayla has grown into a beautiful teenager. Fear enveloped Laila's heart and mind.
"Yes, you rest in the room. Do not go out other than school. Do not take calls from strangers. Anyway, don't mess around," said Laila.
Kayla nodded. He also immediately went to his room carrying shoes that were still tightly grasped. While Hasna who did not miss Deri so much just shook her head.
"It's not necessarily Papa Deri. Mostly from his girlfriend, too" Hasna said innocently.
"Daughter?" ask Laila.
Yes, Laila forgot. Who knows Kayla already has a boyfriend and that is one reason to hide her secret so as not to get angry with her. But Laila thought again. It felt too much if what Kayla was doing was as she had expected.
"Yes Hasna also rested. His PR work," said Laila.
Hasna nodded and left immediately. After seeing Laila alone, Bi Sumi immediately approached and sat down beside Laila.
"Mother, calm down. Don't be too parno so," said Bi Sumi calming.
"Where is parno. Who is that guy? How can I know the address of this house. Now send the shoes. How about tomorrow-tomorrow to send a bomb?" laila was full of fear.
