Chapter 7's

Now Jessica and Nick are in the dining room feeling equally awkward because of the incident in Matthew's room. They eat in silence there is only the sound of flatware clinking on the plate.

Nick looked several times at Jessica who was eating with her head down. He could see a faint red tinge on Jessica's cheeks.

Nick cleared his throat, "Jessica" called him.

Jessica looked slowly.

"I'm sorry about what I did accidentally" he said.

Jessica nodded.

"We forget the incident that I felt bad for being awkward around you"

"Yes I agree"

Silence approached again. From earlier Jessica did not see the figure of a woman who introduced Nick as his wife. Is it true that Rani said that Nick is a widower.

"Om I can ask?"

"Can you ask me what?"

"Hum, Mama Matthew?" ask Jessica lirih.

"Mama Matthew died in an accident when Matthew was two years old" Nick replied.

As soon as Jessica was silent, she felt very guilty about asking such a sensitive question.

"I can't understand because you only see me and Matthew at home"

Jessica nodded.

"Jessica" call Nick.

"What's up?"

"If I may ask you to meet Matthew more often because I see he seems to like you" Nick asked.

"I'm also happy to be with Matthew so my relationship is not just with friends. I also have no one myself. Both of my parents died when I was seventeen" Jessica said.

"So now you live alone?"

Jessica nodded.

Nick felt sorry for the girl beside him.

Jessica went back to eating her food, a little more will be exhausted, then after that she will go straight to Matthew's room pity Matthew in his own room.

"I'm also glad that you're between me and Matthew"

Jessica was stunned looking at Nick who was smiling towards her making her heart pound.

Jessica just replied with a smile.

Jessica could still feel her heart beating erratically. He drank his drink and stood up from his seat.

"Om I'm done after this I want to go straight to Matthew's room" Jessica said.

"I'm done too"

"This is the plate and the glass so I can bring all of you to the kitchen later I wash" said Jessica.

"Don't let me be alone" Nick said.

"So let me be"

Finally Nick gave the plate and glass to Jessica to wash. Feel like having a wife.

After finishing washing the dishes Jessica went straight to Matthew's room. By the time she passed the dining room, Jessica couldn't find Nick there.

"Om Nick must have gone to his room" he murmured and continued his steps to Matthew's room.

Jessica opened the door to Matthew. He could see Matthew leaning on his bed carrying a storybook.

"Matthew, aren't you asleep?" jessica asked and sat down next to Matthew.

"Alright but after this sleep yes" said Jessica.

"OK my brother"

Jessica took a position next to Matthew while leaning on the bed if Matthew, himself put his head on Jessica's chest while hugging tightly Jessica's waist.

Jessica started reading to Matthew. Matthew was so happy this was the moment he had always been waiting for and now he got the moment through Jessica.

Almost an hour Jessica read the story and she did not feel the movement of Matthew. Jessica could hear the fine snoring coming out of Matthew's mouth. It turns out that Matthew is asleep.

Jessica put the storybook on the nightstand and confirmed Matthew's sleeping position. He laid Matthew down and covered him. Jessica also laid her body next to Matthew.

Just as Jessica closed her eyes she could feel the movement of Matthew hugging her body. Jessica just smiled a little and grabbed Matthew's body in her arms.

In his study, Nick just finished cleaning up his office job at exactly eleven o'clock in the evening. His body he was so tired of sitting in a chair.

Nick walked out of his study into Matthew's room. Nick slowly opens the door to Matthew's room and settles in without making a sound. She could see her son falling asleep in Jessica's arms making her jealous. Nick could see Jessica peacefully falling asleep. His regular breathing made Nick smile.

At first glance he put away the child's hair on Jessica's closed eyelids then stroked the top of Jessica's head slowly and turned to the cheeks that felt smooth when touched.

Aware of what Nick did to keep his body away from Jessica, "It could be crazy if I'm here for a long time" he murmured softly.

Unwilling to do anything strange Nick immediately came out of his son's room and walked towards the kitchen to grab a drink.

"Almost" said Nick.

In the morning around seven o'clock Nick just woke up from his sleep, he immediately brushed his teeth and washed his face and went out of the room to walk to Matthew's room to check the condition of his son.

It can be seen that Matthew is still sound asleep in the absence of Jessica beside Matthew makes Nick circulate the view looking for Jessica's whereabouts.

"What's in the bathroom" he thought.

Nick decides to leave Matthew's room and steps into the kitchen to see if Jessica is there cooking something. When viewed from behind Jessica looks sexy with negligence owned by his late wife who lent it to Jessica.

"Jes" call Nick.

Jessica glanced at him, "Wake up Om" Jessica said.

Nick approached Jessica and stood beside her, "What cooking?" ask Nick.

"I'm cooking fried rice as well as making omelette for us to have breakfast later I also make chicken porridge for Matthew" Jessica replied.

Nick smiled faintly. I don't know why he was happy.

Jessica prepared chicken porridge and a glass of milk to give to Matthew.

"Om Nick please deliver the chicken porridge to Matthew I want to prepare fried rice for us"

We're. The word sounded beautiful in Nick's ear, "All right let me deliver"

After Nick goes to Matthew's room, Jessica puts the cooked fried rice on the plate and makes Omelette as a side dish.

It doesn't take long to cook two omelets. When it was ripe Jessica put it directly on Nick's plate and onto his plate.

"Finally it's done" he said then put two servings of fried rice on the dining table did not forget Jessica also prepared her drink.

While preparing breakfast for him and Nick from the stairs, he sees Nick and Matthew walking towards him.

"Matthew wants to have breakfast with us" Nick said.

"It's okay, but Matthew is okay, right?" ask Jessica.

"I don't know Kak Jes" Matthew said and sat in the chair next to the place Jessica was going to sit, "I want to sit next to Kak Jes"

"If so, Sister Jes aja who slide so you can sit on your papa deck" said Jessica.

"Don't let Sister Jes just sit near papa, I'm here only the important thing I sit next to her Brother Jes" said Matthew.

"Well if that's what Matt wants, papa can't be banned" Nick said as he put his breakfast Matthew.

"Here papa help" said Nick slightly raised Matthew's body to sit on the chair.

After that he sat in his chair, "Let's get Jes breakfast together" Nick said.

"Yes Om" said Jessica and followed by sitting in her chair.
