The Failed Escape

I moved my legs very slowly, fearing that Sir Edward would know my intention to flee.

I swear by whatever I feel so scared this time, I'm afraid that mister Edward will actually pounce on me right now.

Although he said he would cook and he would give me food, but still this heart was hesitant about his words.

Mr. Edward's face does look very handsome even at his old age, but when I see the grin on his lips looks so terrible. He was truly like a hungry lion that was ready to pounce on prey.

I had just started running, but I had already heard Mr. Edward's thunderous voice calling my name from inside the kitchen.

My heart seemed to be about to be dislodged hearing Master Edward shout like that, with all my might I immediately ran. However, I feel like my hands are attracted. I screamed in shock.

He dragged me behind a large tree that grew behind Mr. Edward's Villa, a shady but creepy-looking tree.

Instead of being let go of that guy smothering my mouth, I was really very afraid if I was caught by his men, Mr. Edward.

Alex! It's Alex's body odor. I instantly twisted my body, trying to stare at the face of the man I thought Alex was under the moonlight.

God, I'm really happy that Alex is in front of me. She didn't leave, she caught up with me, she was looking for me.

I was dying to scream, but I was afraid that Mr. Edward would find me again. I smiled and hugged the body of the man I missed.

Waitaminute! A miss? Did I really miss Alex? Oh, my God, don't tell me that I'm also starting to love this big blob guy.

The man who has always expressed his love for me lately, the man who always forced me to make himself his lover.

She was so weird, I just found out that as long as we were together she liked me as a woman.

Because I heard such a loud roar of footsteps, it seemed that Mr. Edward and his men were looking for me.

I broke my arms, then I raised my head and looked at her not-so-obvious face.

However, I could see there was a bruise on his face. In fact, the corners of his lips looked broken and bloody.

"Gue can't wait to see you, I tracked you down in this villa. Your son is outside the same police, again get ready to catch the old fucker," whispered Alex again.

Alex seems to be trying to dampen his emotions that look overflowing, I understand that.

In my heart I laughed, for we spoke in whispers. Exactly like +62 citizens who are gossiping about something that is not important.

However, sometimes the stories they gossip about are very useful. That's my homeland, sometimes the people are sick, but they're solid and willing to go shoulder-to-shoulder and help each other.

"May he be caught soon, I am very afraid" I said, recalling what Mr. Edward had done.

"Not to be afraid, there I am. Let's just get out of here" Alex whispered again.

I smiled happily at the sincerity of Alex's face, I was hoping to get out of this horrible place soon.

"Aakhs!"

I heard Alex screaming in pain after a well-built man hit Alex's head, even I unconsciously shouted while covering my ears.

"A-an-"

Not yet finished Alex finished his words, but his body had already collapsed to the ground. I went back to hysterically calling Alex's name.

Unfortunately, he did not wake up. The sturdy man was seen laughing while calling the name of Mr. Edward, not long after that Mr. Edward came and immediately approached me.

"Hahaha, how dare you fight me. How dare you try to run away from me" said Mr. Edward, lifting my body like a sack of rice.

When I immediately shouted while hitting the sturdy back of the man who was the same age as my father, I was very scared.

"Because you have dared to run away, now you will feel a pleasure that will make you droop," said Mr. Edward with a thunderous laugh.

I was so afraid to hear that, I was afraid that this would be the end of my journey.

"Take me off, Om. Please let go, I promise if I won't-"

Not even I had time to finish my words, I suddenly heard a gunshot being directed into the air.

It sounded like a warning shot, not even long after that I heard a commotion like a person who was fighting.

As Alex said, it looks like the police are already in action. Mr. Edward looked panicked, he ran with long strides while making me carry my body.

He seemed to not feel any weight at all while lifting my body, even though my body weight alone was about sixty kilos.

"Om, let go of Aneska, Om. Aneska please," I said.

I tried to negotiate, who knew he would listen to my request and release myself. Even if it feels impossible.

"Be quiet little girl, we're going somewhere safe" said Mr. Edward.

Hearing what Master Edward said, I was really scared. Where am I going to try?
