When Love Comes Again

When Love Comes Again
The More Doubtful the More Confident

The atmosphere of the house suddenly tense. In the guest room sat a gray old man, his age may have been 70 years, but still looks energetic and his style is very arrogant. He acted as if he was the master of his house. Next to him sat a woman who was a little young from him. Curly hair in a high tie and stylish no less haughty than the old man earlier.

An hour later came Juan who just got off his car, directly into the house to meet the two people.

"But, come sooner than plan." Juan greeted the old man. And then sit in front of him.

"Yes, the check-up schedule is the day after tomorrow. But Papi heard the story from Jovi, about the girl. Ouch .... What's his name ...?"

"Adellias."

"Well, whoever he is. Papi asks that you no longer be fooled by such classic tricks, Juan. Be careful!" seduce the old man.

"Yes, Pi. But Juan met Yulia yesterday, Pi. He is already .... " Juan could not continue his words, the old man got up from his seat. His face was red.

"Don't mention the woman's name in front, Papi. Enough of your past mistakes. Don't make another mistake. That woman has left you and her child. She doesn't deserve to be called a wife, let alone a mother. Papi doesn't want to see much less get in touch with that bad woman."

"Bapi, it's been. Don't be so emotional. Better Papi go to the room and rest. Jovi inter yes, Pi" Juan was just speechless hearing the mockery of his Papi. In the depths of her heart she still loved Yulia. Despite her disappearance decades ago.

"What if what Yulia said was true? What if that kid is really my real son?" The question swirled in Juan's mind. His heart was not calm. But he couldn't refute Papi's remarks. Although only a stepfather, to Juan, his Papa was the most meritorious person in his life. It was her father who raised her alone after her mother's death. That debt that Juan couldn't decide.

That night Juan was awake. His heart felt very agitated. His unsettled feeling made it difficult for Juan to close his eyes. He understood very well the character, Yulia, who until now was still his wife. Juan never intended Yulia mentally. Although he disappeared for decades with his eldest son, but he could not hate the woman.

Juan and Yulia have been friends since childhood. They've been safe since middle school. A couple of friends who became husband and wife. No one would have thought that their relationship that was fine was suddenly shattered for no reason. No one knows why Julie left the house.

"Not sleeping, Pa?" call Dicky who comes out the door.

"Hmmm..."

"Can Dicky come in?" politely asked.

"Hm ... " Dicky comes in, sits on the side of the bed. He leaned his head against the wall of the room while hugging a pillow. He watched his papa. He knew in his little heart his father felt uneasy and unsettled towards the problems that were occurring.

"Pa," call Dicky again. Juan looked at his son. "Does Papa not want to be back with Mama again, Pa? How much do Papa hate women who have been with Papa in joy and sorrow?"

Juan was silent. His breath was clearly heard among their silence.

"Pa," call Dicky slowly.

"Hm .... "

"Whatever happens between Papa and Mama, Adel is still Papa's biological child. It is not appropriate for him to bear all the sad consequences of all this happening. Adellia's innocent, Pa. He doesn't know anything. Even Dicky and Brother Yudha were like that" he explained later. "Dicky believed Papa could make a wise decision. Dicky believes Papa can trust Papa's little heart more. Sorry, Pa. Not the intention of patronizing Papa. But if anything harms this family, Dicky is the number one person who will take action. Whatever it is." Both were silent for a moment. Then Dicky got up from his seat and took a break.

"Good night, Pa." Dicky left Juan's room. In the room Juan thought about what his son had said. But the more he denied his little heart the more he could not help but believe.

"It's not that easy, Dicky. Papa was afraid that something else would be worse. Looks like we can't avoid that" he murmured.
