Chapter 23 Far, but Close to the Heart

Germany, in winter.

A tall man was walking leisurely around his residence. By using upholstered clothes that are tightly closed with a thick jacket and do not forget to wear a thick scarf to dispel the wind that wants to enter through his neck.

The man was almost two months in the country of people, and during that time he was still trying to adapt to the different weather with his place of origin. For two months also he did not go to the salon to trim his hair so that his hair almost covered his ears. In addition to not finding a place to cut hair, he has another goal that his head is always warm in that winter.

While being busy walking to enjoy the cold of the night, this man named Artyo saw a very interesting boutique. A pretty big boutique with adorable women's clothes. He was stopped in front of the boutique for quite a while, while watching every single outfit on display.

At that moment his mind was fixed on one woman who often appeared in his dreams. The woman's face filled the boutique and she imagined the woman was wearing clothes that were on display.

"Holy if you were here, you would definitely force me to enter the boutique and try on the clothes one by one" Artyo said in his heart.

"Hi Bro! what are you doing here?"

"Eh hello Brother! Hm just enjoying the atmosphere of this cold night," replied Artyo a little flutter because surprised to see his friend named Dave suddenly appear.

Dave is his new friend who is also a student from Indonesia, only he was in Germany first. They met several times when they gathered with fellow Indonesian students. And Dave's place of residence isn't that far from where he lives.

"But what I see is you're watching the girls in that boutique, haha. I told you, you've been caught wet," said Dave who couldn't hold back his laughter.

"Wow Bro, I'll give it up anyway," Artyo could only smile in embarrassment while scratching his non-itchy head.

"Look in, I happen to want to get dressed for my girlfriend's gift, too" asked Dave.

"No, bro, I'm going straight back."

Artyo could not refuse anymore. He and Dave enter the boutique while looking for a dress that suits Dave's girlfriend who turns out to have almost the same posture as Holy. Artyo also became a spirit to help Dave, he planned when he returned to Indonesia, he would also buy clothes for Holy in this place.

During their time at the boutique, besides being busy looking for suitable clothes, the two of them were also preoccupied with the thoughts of those who tried to remember names. Since they met only once, and during that time they only call each other with the call 'Bro'.

Eventually, Deve finds a matching suit, and the two of them head home in the same direction. Before parting Dave thought to ask for social media accounts owned by Artyo, after following each other finally they knew each other's names.

They both came home with a happy mind. And can sleep well.

Holy and Artyo's relationship is separated by distance and time, making them both have to be more patient. Send each other a message is mandatory for both of them even though replying can not be fast because the time is not the same.

Sometimes Artyo calls and makes a video call to Holy at two in the morning. Because at that time Holy was not so busy. Holy's face makes Artyo become more enthusiastic to complete his study and immediately return to Indonesia.

Holy had always told Artyo about whatever he was doing. Sometimes it appears in Artyo's mind to invite Holy to continue his studies in Germany, only it is always rejected by Holy because he is still very difficult to master English especially he also has to learn German.

Although Artyo knows that Holy has not completely broken up with Natan, but Holy always assures that he does not love Natan. He also shared that he had asked for a break up several times, but was always thwarted by Natan. Now Holy and Natan had also met very rarely. Holy had always hoped that Artyo would come home soon and help him to release Natan from his life.

Artyo always told Holy to be patient because he would come and propose to her immediately. Artyo will not let go of the friend he loves so much. It was enough that he had been holding back his feelings all this time that made him have to part with Holy. From now on he tries to always declare his love so as not to be separated again.

Even though their bodies are separate, their hearts and feelings are getting closer and more fused.
