When Doctor Meet Mr. Polyseman

Day after day Grace lived normally, yet was calm and happy. Chris and Maria gave him a new identity under the name Grace Alexander. Indirectly, she had already been appointed their daughter legally.
After graduating from High School, Grace continued her education in medicine. He was very grateful to Doctor Steve who once saved him and provided extraordinary care. He also wants to help people with his energy and ability.
Every night, Grace still likes to dream about how her parents were arrested and even injured. Since then, he has never seen his parents again. In Grace's mind, the two of them must have died even though she had never seen their bodies. However, they will live on in Grace's heart.
For Grace, power and possessions are not everything. When both of her parents hide it, they must want Grace alive. Therefore, Grace will cherish her life more than anything else.
He could have gone back to his country and taken back what should have been his. But he no longer wants it.
At the age of 22, he graduated from college. He underwent practical work at the hospital, also had been placed in the suburbs to serve there.
Now, he is 26 years old. He worked in one of the private hospitals, where he was first treated. He became a general practitioner there. It is often placed in the ER, because of how it works very quickly. Doctor Steve has now served as the director of the hospital. He was very happy to receive Grace's presence and of course very proud.

Since becoming a general practitioner at Horison Hospital, Grace has asked Chris and Maria for permission to fully exit Alexander's residence. Actually he had started doing it since 4 years ago when he graduated, but sometimes he still came home because he did not want his adoptive parents to feel worried.
The first salary he got, he immediately gave to Chris and Maria. He also said he would pay all the fees Chris and Maria had paid for him. Not because he feels great and able to make his own money, but because he is very grateful.
Money may never replace everything Chris and Maria have given, especially their attention and affection. But at least it becomes an encouragement for Grace in work.
“Can't you replace me?” ask Grace.
“Sorry Grace, I promised to accompany my parents on vacation,” declined Hanna. She doesn't want to trade hours with Grace, let alone nights where she wants to spend time with her boyfriend.
“That’s okay, no problem,” it seems like this time Grace has to miss her foster brother's wedding, even though she really wants to be there and share their happiness.
In the morning, right on the day of Theo and Freya's wedding, Grace must come quickly to the hospital due to a major accident involving several vehicles.
With a breath of gasping for a run, Grace headed straight to her room and picked up her white coat. Last night he came home late due to an operation schedule and today he was called in to come in early morning and help out.
After finishing her drink, Grace walked out of the room with a stethoscope she put in her pocket. He walked quickly to the ER section. There he saw that the patients were crowded and full.
“Doctor Grace, over here,” a nurse calls Grace asking for her help. Grace approached and began her work.
He quickly moved from one patient to another. As he sat down, a nurse came and gave him a bottle of mineral water.
The atmosphere of the ER already looks conducive because there are no more shouts and patients coming simultaneously. A policeman approaches him, “Excuse me, Good afternoon. Can I ask for a little information from you?”
Grace raised her head and looked at it. He nodded his head, then took the policeman to his room.
“Please sit down, Mr.”
“Thank you,” the cop took out a photo and showed it to Grace.
“Did you see this person among the patients you treated in the ER section?” Grace took the photo and then noticed it.
“Sorry before. I don't focus on the patient's face. My only focus is on how to deal with their injuries quickly. Maybe you can contact the nurse in the ER section,” replied Grace. Grace really felt tired because she felt she didn't get enough rest last night.
“Alright then. Here's my business card. You can contact me if you remember something,” the policeman stood up and walked out.
“Thank you for your understanding, Mr. Gregory,” Grace said before Gregory fully walked out of the room. Afterwards, he locked the door and threw himself on the sofa. He needs to rest, replenish his energy because later tonight he gets guard duty.

In the evening, Grace attends Theo and Freya's wedding reception via an online connection. He also specifically apologized to his adoptive parents for not being able to attend the important event. Fortunately, Chris and Maria are so understanding that Grace becomes calmer.
However, the video call connection was interrupted when a gun eruption was heard. Grace's heartbeat suddenly became rapid. Sweat ran down his forehead, his body shaking as he recalled the time when he was separated from his family.
Before long, a call was seen on his phone, the name of Uncle Chris was there.
“Grace, prepare a place for Theo. He was hit by a knife and needed immediate treatment,” Grace immediately prepared an ICU room and waited for Theo's arrival.
Arriving at the hospital, Theo went straight into the ICU room. Alexander's family and his wife's family waited outside anxiously and uneasily.
Moments later, a doctor came out of the ICU. He immediately approached the patient's family and began to explain Theo's circumstances.
“Uncle Chris, Aunty Maria, Theo's condition is fine. We've stitched up the wound. Fortunately, no vital organs were affected. We will soon move him to the treatment room,” explained Doctor Grace.
“Thank you, Grace,” said Chris and Maria together. Grace passed from there to return to the administration to prepare a treatment room for Theo.
