What's Up With Street Kids
Book Store

I'm sure so many notifications must contain a long and important discussion. This caused me to undo the intention to open the Whatsapp group.

“Hey, really busy with my phone loitering,” Bang Aksa surprised me from behind. Turns out he's done paying at the cashier.

“No, Bang. This village building group seems to have a discussion, because the notification that goes to dozens of gini,” I replied while showing the phone to Bang Aksa.

“Oo yaudah yuk we go first, let's hurry kelarnya,” invite Bang Aksa while rubbing my head.

I responded by getting up from the chair and following Bang Aksa's footsteps in front.

“So where are we going? You said you want to buy perfume with a book too, right?” bang Aksa asked while walking down this magnificent mall courtyard.

“We go to the bookstore first bang, because there will be a long time,” I replied while passing Bang Aksa steps to lead the way in front faster.

Bang Aksa did not answer and simply aligned his steps.

The bookshop we went to was on the ninth floor, while the one we ate was on the first floor. This will take a lot of time if taken each floor using an escalator, although it is actually more fun to walk through each floor and see the interesting things they offer. However, since I also had to hurry we chose to use the elevator instead.

The elevator provided in this mall consists of four locations. Located on each side of the mall, starting from the front, right, left, and rear sides. The elevator inside this mall is also quite large because it is able to transport twenty adults at once. However, the elevator is designed with a size greater than its maximum capacity. This is intended even though the elevator has reached the maximum capacity limit, but the conditions in the elevator remain comfortable without the need for jostling between visitors.

Upon arrival at the elevator door, Bang Aksa pressed the open button indicating that there will be visitors who want to use the elevator from our first floor. In addition to us, there are several other visitors, namely a pair of grandparents, a mother with her toddler son in her cradle, and several mothers. There was no need to wait long for the elevator to pick us up on the first floor. Slowly the elevator door opened and some people from inside the elevator came out first, then we were visitors who were waiting for the elevator to enter slowly.

Elevator whose walls are made of transparent glass makes visitors can see the mall every floor. Visible visitors who crowded up and down the mall floor and also the exit and exit outlets with many shopping bags. This large moving iron is equipped with air conditioning, so even though it is in closed conditions and contains many people remain cool and not stuffy. Things like this that make this mall that we are visiting become one of the largest shopping centers in our city.

Not long after, the elevator reached the ninth floor. Slowly this iron door opened showing various people waiting at the door to take turns using this large iron box. Slowly the visitors who were aiming for this floor like we went out in turns, followed by visitors who have finished enjoying the offer on this floor or those who are interested in other floors enter the elevator. Now Bang Aksa and I are on the ninth floor. The elevator whizzed slowly leaving this floor towards the other floor.

This ninth floor is a special floor store or outlet that provides hobby equipment, such as a cassette shop, painting shop, sports shop, and of course also a bookstore that we will visit today.

The bookstore we were looking for was not far from the rear elevator, next to the sports store. A fairly large store with a length of about 20 meters and consists of many bookshelves as well as reading chairs that are also provided by the store management. The view inside the bookstore can be seen from the outside because the walls of this store are made of transparent glass. I really enjoy spending time in the bookstore, even since childhood I was often invited and accompanied by my mother or father to this store, other than because it was big, because it was big, the store also allows its customers to read samples of products provided.

This store not only provides a variety of book models, but also learning aids and office stationery (ATK). Starting from the whiteboard, screening, study board, table lamp, and others. About the books offered are very many kinds, ranging from science books, fiction books, history, novels, newspapers, magazines, comics and all kinds. Therefore, this bookstore is the best place to subscribe to if you have run out of reading friends or a new book collection.

“Eh lo plan to buy what book’an today?” bang Aksa asked shortly after we opened the shop door. It seems immediately worried that his sister will commit an act of blackmail.

“Yeah you're so scared. I picked up five middle standard books huh?” I answered while raising both thumbs.

Bang Aksa suddenly pulled on my arm and stared with an annoyed look that was always shown when I nailed it. Indeed, between me and Bang Aksa always turns to each other, to be a kind of pride for us, able to be more oppressive to each other. Clearly the gaze shown was due to my plan to purchase five middle standard books. This middle standard book is a book that is sold at prices ranging from eighty to one hundred and fifty thousand rupiah. The standard price for the books sold here is because it does include a large bookstore in our city. Therefore, the classification that we do this happens because we often flounder when it is in the bookstore. So that when hunting for books, can adjust to the money available. In addition to the middle standard, there are two more standards of classification that Bang Aksa and I do, the first is the cheap standard and the last is the expensive standard. For a cheap standard book it is a book that has a price of about eighty thousand and below or a price below the middle standard book. Conversely, for a standard expensive book is a book that has a price ranging from one hundred and fifty thousand and above or more expensive than the middle standard book.

“Crazy you huh? The middle standard book is five. Can-can ludes directly you make my savings,” complained Bang Aksa after feeling his gaze does not affect me.

“Judah. Let me choose my book, and then look to elo. How?” hail me to Bang Aksa.

“After, I also want to see the book. So my book is also willing to pay.” Bang Aksa complained about his worries.

I just answered with a spoiled smile.

Next I parted ways with Bang Aksa and searched shelf by shelf separately, because these two brothers were quite aggressive when it came to books. It feels uncomfortable if you browse the shelves together. This is because we have to wait for each other and things like that are boring for us. Sometimes when looking at an interesting book according to one of us and decided to look at the sample, but according to one of them the book is not interesting, but according to one of them is not interesting, of course that means one of us is going to waste time while the other is enjoying the book. It is for this reason that we prefer to browse the bookshelves separately and will later be reunited before going to the cashier with a stack of three to five books usually on hand. Next, of course, we will check the wallet and see the ability of the economy to fulfill the desire for books at that time, if the money available was less to pay for the stacks of books we have collected, usually there will be a heated debate between brother and sister that will attract the attention of visitors around it.

As for the debate, of course, it is about the book who should be sacrificed and returned to the original shelf. Usually that debate will end with a few solutions, the first by comparing the prices of each book, the first, so we're going to halve the same amount of money that exists and it's going to be rationed to each of us to choose which books to sacrifice. However, this first method often fails because usually my book of choice is always more expensive, so I can only buy one book, while Bang Aksa can get up to three books. The solution that often occurs is in the second way, namely by giving promises and expectations. Usually this is the settlement step that I do if my book of choice is quite expensive, by promising to replace Bang Aksa's money or treat him to eat, or even serve him at home for a full week. Well this last search often works and Bang Aksa always gives up on me.

As I watched the books, my phone rang.

‘Juang’ contact name shown on the phone screen shows who is calling.

He must have called because I didn't have any discussion in the group.

For a moment I hesitated to have to answer his cell phone call or let it go first until I actually finished the business at this mall. I opened the Whatsapp social media application and it turns out the notifications for Whatsapp Group community have reached hundreds. It was only natural that Juang directly contacted.

I immediately paused the intention to search for the book and rushed to look for the whereabouts of Bang Aksa.

‘Juang’. The phone screen again displays that name.

Waduh, it seems like something really important until Juang called me many times not like usual.

I quickly went through the various shelves and looked around to find my brother.

At the end of the shop is seen Bang Aksa on the shelf of social books.

I should have known he was on this shelf.

I walked over to Bang Aksa.

“Well, you haven't found the book you're looking for? Tumben,” said Bang Aksa after seeing me approach him without bringing a book.

“Iya. Nothing interested me from that moment,” answered me while covering that actually I only thought of Juang who had already contacted my ponsleku and also the community that had continued to discuss online in Whatsapp Group.

“Tumben. Whereas before lunch time really make it to the bookstore,” said Bang Aksa relaxed while still being engrossed in one row after another shelf.

“Lo is finished yet? Turn back,” my door to Bang Aksa.

“Why do you rush so much? There's a class lo this afternoon?” ask Bang Aksa.

“Eh wait a minute, I have not chosen a single book,” complained Bang Aksa while following my pull.

“Other times you can come here again. I will still make your appointment as well. My business in this mall has not been run,” I replied to Bang Aksa while continuing to lead him out of the bookstore.

Finally Bang Aksa resigned and gave up to survive in the bookstore although very rarely he went out of the bookstore without carrying a book. At least the money in his wallet is safe for now.

The parking lot was as crowded as it was when we got here. Immediately I got into the car while Bang Aksa was still left behind. As soon as Bang Aksa sat behind the wheel of the car and the engine started slowly we left the parking area. On the way, I called back Juang who had contacted me many times.

“Halo?A fragrance? Lo where alone in the group did not appear, called unappointed” Juang assault shortly after he raised my call, even before I had time to say ‘Halo’ to him.

“Iya maap, from earlier I was going with Bang Aksa, so not perfect to check the phone. This is our way back, so I called back lo,” I replied to Juang.

“What happens if I can know?” Directly again the question to Juang before he had time to respond with various kinds of jokes.

“Lo now where?” reply Juang asked without answering my question.

“Gue on the road, still around the mall, anyway,” replied I relented.

“Lo can go to Warboss now?” ask Juang once more.

“Iya I can. Entar I asked Bang Aksa nganterin.”

“Oke lo direct here. I'm with the kids to come here. Do not ask why, here I explain. Dah.” Juang immediately turned off the phone before I responded to his call.

How important it seems to be, not usually Juang kek gini, murmured myself.

“Why?” Bang Aksa asked after just now just seeing me busy myself with a mobile phone while agitated.

I explained about the WhatsApp Group calls and notifications that had met and repeatedly caught my attention.

“Oh so because of that you want to rush back?” ask Bang Aksa lightly.

“Iya bang. I do not feel good if for example I am so sought after by the same people, added earlier Whatsapp Group is very busy community, notification only up to a hundred more. I'm worried that something matters,” obviously me while looking at the busy road.

“Trus earlier you called Juang what did he say?” ask Bang Aksa.

“Yes earlier he ngabarin if the children are gathering at Warboss, so he told me to follow there.”

“Warboss which is near Sudirman Street, right? The post office deket kota” asked Bang Aksa to confirm the name of the place I called.

“Iya bang. Can you take me there?” my pinta to Bang Aksa.

“Yaudah happened to be my friend who had this car asked to be picked up on Sudirman road as well, so yes I just did lo,” replied Bang Aksa.

“You have a lot of bang. Sweetheart, very good to be a brother. But the debt you buy me a book there is still lo ya”, I told Bang Aksa while reminding him of the book shopping plan that was delayed today.

Bang Aksa simply replied with a smile while continuing to drive the car well. At this level actually Bang Aksa already deserves to have his own car, but again he is more pleased with public transportation, walking, online transportation, or even borrowing vehicles as he did this time. It's possible that he just does not want to bother with caring for a car that is once again actually with Bang Aksa's income, he is able to hire car maintenance services on a regular basis.

The journey continued quietly, because the road that usually jammed somehow felt empty and did not hamper the trip in the least. Along the way we chatted about the latest books that we would later buy in exchange for book shopping that was delayed this afternoon because of my business.

However, on the streets that are not so crowded there are less pleasant views. I saw a lot of unkempt children wandering from one store to another carrying plastic bottles filled with gravel and sand. Not only that, almost at every intersection there is also the same thing. Honestly, I as a person who is active in community coaching and the younger generation is hit by seeing such conditions, wanting to do something.

It did not feel like the trip had lasted long and we were almost at the destination, Warboss referred to Juang is a coffe shop that is usually a place to gather campus children, the location is not far from the main crossroads.

“We have reached our destination. This one right?” tanya Bang Aksa.

Looked the signboard of the store that read Warboss upright sturdy on the roadside.

“Iya bang. Thanks for lunch and I did it yes,” answered me while taking the bag I put in the back seat since.

“So I'll pick you up or go home by myself?” ask Bang Aksa.

“Entar I asked for anterin with Juang aja, where know you will be able to chat with him at home, he said,” I replied remembering that from last night Bang Aksa always asked about Juang while rushing to open the car door and moving out.

“Oo. Send my regards to Juang ya. And remember you do not go home last night,” closed it while closing the car door I opened earlier and immediately passed to the crowded streets.

The black car drove away from me and joined the other vehicles filling the crowded highway.

Warboss looks quite crowded by noon this afternoon, it is seen from the parking lot of customers who are quite crowded filled by two-wheeled vehicles and four-wheelers. Rushing I took the phone from inside the bag to contact Juang.

Contacting Juang at this time is not difficult because he has been waiting since, only intermittent ringtones Juang immediately picked up the phone from me.

“Halo?” greet Juang from across the phone there.

“Halo, Juang. I'm in front of you,” reply.

“Yaudah you go directly in, the children are already on d isini nih,” replied Juang.

I went straight into Warboss which seemed to be filled with people who were busy with their respective activities.
