What's Up With Street Kids
That dude

The night atmosphere in this city is very pleasant, as if the city never dies with all the busyness and activity of its citizens. It was seen from the restaurant where we ate this still continued the arrival of visitors without stopping. Not only that, the highway in front of this restaurant was like not having a chance to breathe in the middle of the traffic motorized vehicles that alternated never stop. So no wonder various kinds of family entertainment venues remain available until late at night.

Harum and I waited in the parking lot, while Mom and Dad made the payment at the cashier. This is one of the advantages of eating with the family, which is being able to eat well without spending any money. Unknowingly I felt the pants I was wearing being pulled up very gently. Realizing that, I immediately turned my head down and saw a rundown little boy and his baby sister in a sling of a cloth wrapped around her body to keep her brother from falling out of the arms. This little boy was around 5-6 years old and the younger brother he carried was around 1-2 years old.

“Om, want to eat, om,” he said wheezing while stroking the back of his sister who fell asleep in the arms of the brother.

I sat down on my knees so I could talk to him more comfortably. Fragrant watching me with a little child took the wet tissue in her bag, rubbing it gently on her face.

“Wait a minute yes,” I said while gently rubbing the child's head,

“Rum, you call mom or dad. Give me another pack,” connect me to Harum which is immediately followed by a steady nod of his head.

Fragrant immediately stood up from his position and picked up the phone that was inside his bag. As I requested, he called our parents who were still inside making the payment. After speaking to our parents via cell phone, he put the phone back in his bag and sat on his knees beside me and held the cheek of the child who was still standing in front of us.

“You wait here yes. That's food for you being brought here,” he said softly with a sweet smile addressed to the child.

Shortly after that, my mom and dad arrived.

“This same mom dad bring two packs directly.” Mother gave a package of food to Harum who was still sitting on his knees in front of this little boy.

“This is for your dinner with your sister yes, Dik,” said Fragrant softly while handing over the package of food that was ordered to this little boy.

“Thank you so much brother!” exclaim the child while receiving the package and hugging Harum slowly because the sister is still asleep in her cradle, “Thank you also good om and aunt!” he continued to me who was still sitting on my knees and to my father, and mother who was looking softly while standing.

After saying that thank you, he turned away from us while waving his hand sweetly and we returned his wave. Harum and I immediately took a standing position because the boy was no longer visible.

“Oh yes, this abis we stopped by the mall first how, Yah?” ask Harum to the father who was ready to enter the car.

“Lo want to do a night mall startinian?” my question is full of search.

“There's something I need to buy, Bang. You are for the purposes of the day after tomorrow,” replied Harum.

“Yaudah, how's bu?” ask dad to mom. Dad seemed to undo the intention of entering the car until he got certainty where this car would go.

Mother agreed to tonight to stop by a mall in our city before returning home to rest. But once again it seems like I upset my sister because I asked that we just go home to rest. Of course, this request was firmly rejected by Harum because he seemed to want to go to the mall. Even so, a full stomach that has been filled with this delicious food has asked to immediately rest on a soft mattress as soon as possible. It seems that the element of need between me and Harum will be won by Harum. Therefore, before that happens I anticipate by offering that his desire to meet the needs in the mall is postponed until tomorrow with additional payments and traction while there I bear.

“Truly, Bang? Yea! Yaudah, we go straight home just yok, Dad, Mom,” invite Fragrance to be excited.

“Iya! Take a lunch break tomorrow I'll pick you up on campus. Let me leave late at the office. No agenda, right?” ask me about Harum.

“Not really, Bang, empty. Just pick me up at the Faculty, I have class tomorrow morning,” replied Harum.

Finally we all agreed to go straight home to rest a tired body, but the stomach was full. The journey was peaceful and quiet as no chatter took place.

“So the guy who used to pick you up where is Harum? No looks lately.” I opened the conversation in the middle of silence.

“Who do you mean bang?” search Fragrant while holding my eyes sharp.

I shook my head without responding to her sharp eyes, and my father and mother listened without commenting.

“That often you tell me when you come home from the village,” I replied casually.

“Iya that one. Does he often nganter pick you up, right?” I go back to my initial statement.

“Yes if I'm having business with the village, I am the same he continues. Why, Bang? Tumben nanyain,” tanya Harum cuek. I don't know why when I asked her about her boyfriend named Juang her mood changed.

My intention to ask his friend was not just to want to punish or tease my sister, but because there were indeed some affairs that might need the help of someone called Juang.

“Iya, I have long time no squirming him with lo. You guys fighting? Or he did not join the village building with lo again?” my question is full of search.

“We are not fighting, only I am upset with him,” replied Harum ketus.

“Emang he did you, until you upset everything?” ask me to pay attention while hugging my only sister's shoulder.

“She has nothing to do with me personally anyway, but she made a decision that hurt the kids,” replied Harum while leaning her head on my shoulder.

“Emang what decision did he make? Eh but I want it first, the Juang as what the hell in your place?” tanyaku as a form of attention to the problems faced Harum.

“Yes he was there as a community co-chair, so that's why the children in the same kelp he because of that position, but the decision he took seemed to forget about his responsibility,” reply Harum explained.

“Gue is so confused yes,” I replied because it was Harum explained very absurd and uncertain, whether it might be due to his bad mood.

“Udah ah. Tomorrow I will tell you when I nemenin my bang,” continued Harum ended the conversation with his head back up straight which seems to have started to get upset I ask you continue.

“Iya deh I understand,” I replied while raising both hands as a sign of forgetting for a moment the question that was asked.

Harum just retorted by leaning back his head on my shoulder while busy looking at social media. Throughout the rest of the trip we were swept away in each other's busyness. Dad and mom were busy chatting together, Harum was busy playing his phone, and I was busy responding to some discussion on my mobile communication media. It seems that tomorrow at the office there will be a meeting between the company leadership and the new corporation for a coordination meeting. That way I can't be late for the office.

Not long after that our car entered the yard. The journey home was fast, apparently because I was tired and sleepy, plus a full stomach, so all I thought about the rest of the trip was sleep.

After the car got into the garage and the engine was turned off, we all went down in unison.

“You go straight up aja yes, dad and mom want to go straight to the room to rest,” said father.

“Good, Dad!” answer me and Smell in unison.

“You guys rest well yes and good night,” said the mother gently while kissing my fragrant forehead and rubbing my hair. A habit that has never disappeared since we were children, only now my mother no longer kisses my forehead because I do not want to, because considering the age as well of course.

After that my father and mother entered their room on the first floor, while I and Harum went up to the second floor because our room was on the upper floor.

Arriving at the top, Harum went straight to his room,

“Gue direct to room yes, Bang. Don't forget your appointment for tomorrow,” ketus Harum while opening the door of his room.

“Iya I remember. Intar if there is a change I contact you deh,” I replied gently.

“Oudah I entered first.” It was nice to leave me in the room.

Then I went straight to my room and opened the door. This room feels cold because it seems that when I came out I forgot to turn off the air conditioner. The jacket that I had worn just anywhere in the lounge chair located in the corner of the room, because indeed I had to get up early tomorrow morning so as not to be late to the office. Shortly after that, I fell asleep.
