However, he knew his protective armor was made from layer upon layer of scars. The more she knew him, the more depressed she felt for him. She had no idea what had happened for three years after she changed her name from Ning Xia to Song Ning. Since he didn't say anything, he wouldn't ask her about it. After all, he knew he must have gone through an agonizing transformation during that time. Similarly, those three years were also torturous for him.
