What a Beautiful Divorce

What a Beautiful Divorce
34. That's beautiful, Boss

The swarm of birds that had passed by earlier had vanished in the distance. Mr. Oscar then ignited the shell.

"I and all the villagers of Kejora, thank Mr. Gumiro and Nak Timo. I am very happy with this business partnership. And I'm sure, all the villagers of Kejora would be happy too.

"From tomorrow, the men in Kejora village, including children, will be working together to make buildings to collect crops and livestock, and also buildings to collect processed materials for gardening, he said, which will be marketed by Pak Gumiro company.

"What's the name of the company, sir?" ask Mr. Oscar after turning to Mr. Gumiro.

Gumiro turned to his son. The two of them then laughed a little. "That's what we were thinking, Mr. Oscar, too" Mr. Gumiro said. "Our company used my name all along. The name, although cool, but certainly not suitable, because now our company has cooperated with Kejora village.

"What if the name is changed to the Kejora Company only?"

Oscar thought for a moment. He looked at Prapto and Nimo. They nodded in agreement. Where the audience stood, the residents seemed to still think.

"Agreed!" the Lapen Oscario cheer from where he stood, followed by the cheers of Lennon and Taro, and the cheers of the other boys.

The fathers then expressed their agreement. While the mothers and girls were still chatting with each other before finally nodding in agreement.

"All right," said Mr. Oscar. "Company Kejora." He then smiled and shook hands with Mr. Gumiro.

As sales of Kejora village's natural crops and livestock ended to the Horse Flying Corporation, the company's revenue declined considerably. Tristan also began to decrease its income. Coupled with Silvi has not returned home, the CEO of Cuek was getting more vulnerable to his heart.

Horse Fly Corporation is still on the road, and is still doing business in the field of food consumption. The difference is, they do not supply agricultural products and natural farms anymore. They have become a very ordinary company.

That night, Tristan gets a call from Silvi. In the phone call, Silvi says that she will not return to Tristan's house. He wants a divorce, and his family will come to Tristan in the near future while taking Silvi's cat.

The CEO of Cuek felt his life was over. His days were traversed with tangles and lacklusterness. Tristan is dead.

"When are we going to harvest, Nimo?" ask Prapto after starting his cigarette. He and Nimo had just finished planting pineapples and salak. They are now sitting drinking coffee in front of the kitchen garden building.

"It won't be another week, boss," replied Nimo, after lighting her cigarette.

Prapto. "How long will the building take to collect the crops and the processed foods will be finished, Nimo?"

"Said Mr. Oscar and Mr. Gumiro, the building of wood, Boss. So, I guess at most one week is over, too."

Prapto nodded back. "How about the empty land near the back boundary that we make rice fields only, Nimo?"

"Good too, Boss. It just so happens that my father will harvest rice soon, so we can ask him for rice seedlings" replied Nimo.

"What's the rice crop cover for, Nimo?"

"Come, Boss. If I'm not wrong, we can sell the clover."

For the third time, Prapto nodded again. “How are you with Arini, Nimo?"

Nimo suddenly stood up. "Oh yes! Boss, today I plan to go to Arini's house, I almost forgot."

Prapto looked a little surprised. "You want to propose to Arini now?"

"No, Boss. I want to help his father harvest radishes" replied Nimo. Arini's father's radish garden is wide, so I will help him so that the harvest can be completed in a day."

"Your, Nimo ... Nimo. Just tell me your main reason is to meet Arini. Do you often help Mr Uto harvest?"

"Often, Boss."

"Since I've had a crush on Arini, Boss.” Nimo then laughed.

"Bas with you, Nimo!"

"Come, Boss! You all go to Mr. Uto's house. Later the Boss invited Pak Uto to chat, yes, so that he did not come to talk with me and Arini," invited Nimo.

"All right, Nimo, all right. You pick me up later, yeah. I want to fix it first."

Nimo's face was radiant. He got up and took his bike.

Pak Uto's house is approximately seven minutes by bicycle from Prapto's house. Pak Uto's garden is vast, perhaps as wide as the garden of Mr. Dwipangga, his father Nimo. Around the garden there are shady trees. And under the shady trees lined the houses of cattle.

Some of the gardens in Kejora village that Prapto has seen, all have the same arrangement. At the close of the door there are three buildings, namely kitchen buildings, building supplies, and barn buildings. Then around the garden there are shady trees under which rows of cattle houses.

"Why is the arrangement of Kejora village gardens that I've seen all the same, Nimo?" ask Prapto. Prapto had long wanted to ask him, but he had forgotten.

Nimo parked his bike first. Then he said, "Everything is the same, Boss. The first village chief and also the elder at that time who found a garden layout like this. Everything is arranged in such a way as to make it easier for farmers and ranchers to move without disturbing the comfort of livestock and other animals."

Prapto nodded in understanding. After parking his bike, he waited for Nimo to step into Pak Uto's garden.

In the middle of the garden was Pak Uto who was fifty-three years old. Her hair is so long. He was harvesting the horseradish plant with his wife, Bu Ina, who according to Nimo was forty-nine years old. They harvest radishes while chatting and laughing.

Not far from the couple, a girl with long hair in a ponytail walked with a harvest basket.

The girl looked at the cloudy sky at a glance then smiled. "Panen in this cloudy moment is fun, Well, Mom, long tired," he said, as soon as he got near Pak Uto and Bu Ina.

"Yes, Arini. Let's hope our harvest can be finished today" said Pak Uto.

Arini nodded. He then put the harvested radishes into the basket.

Prapto wants to approach Pak Uto immediately. Since he had not yet met the old man, Prapto waited for Nimo to step up first. But Nimo who awaited Prapto has not yet started his steps.

"That's great, Boss," Nimo said.

"Yes, Nimo. The gardens in the village of Kejora I think are all beautiful, kok," said Prapto.

"No, boss, not the garden."

"Huh?" Prapto.

"Arini. Arini is beautiful, boss."

Prapto. "Come, walk, Nimo," he said as he pushed Nimo. "I have not met Mr. Uto. You introduce me to them first, after that you can talk to your beautiful Arini."

Without answering, Nimo immediately walked over with a smile.

"Oh! Nak Nimo, Nak Prapto. You guys been here a long time?" ask Mr. Uto. He then stood up to shake hands.

Almost all Kejora villagers know about Prapto, since Prapto expressed his ideas in the village hall. After greeting Bu Ina and Arini, Prapto then helped harvest radishes. Sometimes he turned to Nimo and Arini, who kept looking at each other and smiling while putting radishes into the basket.

By five o'clock in the afternoon the harvest of radishes was finished. Nimo and Prapto then invited Pak Uto to eat food that had just been served by Bu Ina and Arini.

Nimo wonder. Usually after they eat the dish, Bu Ina and Arini will join in chatting with him and Pak Uto. But this time, after eating Arini was immediately invited by his mother to the house.

Pak Uto's gaze was not as usual. The old man was still smiling gently, still carrying casually, but there was a radiance from Pak Uto's eyes that made Nimo feel so different.
