Bandung, Seven Years Ago
The sound of a long whistle rang out the platform. A series of trains to Semarang are ready to depart. Xora shook stiffly at the place where she stood. His palm felt cold at once stiff. The twenty-five-year-old girl stared at the back of her fiance who was checking in at the train counter. They should be married next month. But fate speaks another. His second marriage had to be postponed because the man had to leave for Jakarta for a week and then travel to Amsterdam to fill an empty position in the company where he worked.
"Don't be sad, Xora. I promise that after all the business is done, I will marry you and take you wherever I go" promised Tristan after he returned from the counter.
Xora's tears began to seep. A bitter taste suddenly burst out within his chest, tightness. A little angry but there was nothing he could do. Tristan's dreams are in sight, his career is good, there's no way Xora's holding him back just for her own ego. Accepting sincerely is the only way.
Tristan checked his luggage once again. Half an hour later the train arrived. There is still a little time with Xora. "You want us to sit down first?" ask Tristan.
"No need, you just go in" said Xora with pursed lips. So confused, he even expressed frustration rather than sadness. Actually sad, it just feels mixed, the results are upset for no reason.
Seeing her lover sulking, Tristan immediately knew the meaning of the phrase 'you just go in' it means the opposite. "Yes, twenty minutes in that coffee shop. Yuk." yuk." Tristan grabbed Xora by the arm and led her to the spot, ordered two cups of coffee, and sat down to look at Xora's sad face.
"I'm not going forever" Tristan said. The man raised his hand and showed a ring around his ring finger. "I'm definitely back for another ring."
Hearing those words, Xora's tears increasingly flowed down the river.
"Hey, don't cry. We can still call or video call."
Xora who usually talks a lot has been quiet since then. Only one or two words came out of his mouth. Tristan knew very well that Xora was like this, meaning that the girl was indeed very sad and confused. Getting to know Xora since SMA is a long time to get to know each other. At that time Tristan was already in the 12th grade, while Xora who was innocent just entered High School. Classic right? But that's the beginning they know each other until now.
The smell of coffee in the air. Two cups of coffee have been served on the table. Tristan sipped his cup of espreso. While Xora was just staring at the latte inside the cup.
"Ixora ..." whispered Tristan who was trying to restore the consciousness of the lover. "My time is just a little. Don't just shut up."
Xora squeezed his hand. Then he stretched back and took a deep breath.he reached for the cup handle and sipped his Latte.
"Say something, Xora."
Xora straightened her seat and stared fixedly at Tristan. "I hate you."
Tristan smiled satire at the words of the girl. "That's so much better than you being quiet. I'm relieved" Tristan exclaimed with a laugh. "Okay, I think I should go now."
Xora was silent again.
"You don't want to drag me to the limit of the waiting room?"
"Have my promise, Xora."
Tristan let go of Xora's embrace and walked onto the platform to the carriage and was completely lost behind the crowd. Xora waited until a long whistle rang out and the train departed. Tristan Eka Xandrio - her betrothed - is on her way away from Xora.
"Hello, it's been a while?"
Kania stood beside the table of Xora and Kala. Rush Xora stood up and greeted the client. "Ah no, really, Ma'am Kania. Oh yeah, this is Mas Kala from Savoureux Catering."
Kala also stood up and greeted Kania. "Please sit down, Ma'am" said Kala.
"Alone again, Mother?" ask Xora.
"No, same with my husband. But she was again in the toilet" Kania said as she called the waiter and ordered two drinks. "So what's the concept?" ask Kania without further ado.
Kania's question was like Xora's adrenaline rush. The girl confirmed her sitting and was ready to talk. "I have a few concepts that Mama Kania will definitely like." Kania took out a notebook and a pen. "The first …."
"-while, hold on. Tex has to listen too." Kania pressed the phone screen and stuck it in the ear for some time. "Not lifted," he murmured. "Come on Tex .. so long." Kania re-presses Tex's number. There was a connecting tone from Kania's phone. Xora and Kala looked at each other.
Shortly afterwards a halo sounded faintly and Kania half-excitedly spoke on the phone, "Tristan, where are you, anyway? Long time in the toilet!"
Tristanis?

Don't-don't ….

Xora's head suddenly dizzy instead of playing. His heart is beating unruly.
