The Desiring Boy! A Little Village At the Foot of Hell's Mountain! (II)
♤
A village with its houses made of wood, some of the houses behind it are what appear to be a garden.
Not to forget that some parts of the village are also filled with fields, most likely it is a food field.
"You can stay here now, son."
"Well, your house is a little bigger than the others?"
"It's the same."
I arrived at a house after following this grandmother who was in front of me, this house was slightly larger and different from the other houses.
By climbing the stairs that are not much we finally began to go inside, in short this house looks like a stilt house.
Inside I can see a very simple interior of the house, can be seen various equipment made of wood.
The wood used looks still quite rough, even it looks like other houses are also built with the same wood.
"Your room is over there. If you're looking for a bathroom, it's in the back of this house."
"You mean outside?"
"Yes, there's a small room there. You can clean yourself up there."
'Wah-wah, I feel an age of decline.'
"Then I'll go see my room."
"Please. Just do as you please."
When I walked the little, stooped grandmother asked.
"Are you going to destroy this village, son?"
As I walked forward I answered his question.
"Of course not, how can I destroy something I already have."
"Hm, then I'm very grateful. After all, this village is the only memory I have with my husband and children."
'Family yes, are they all gone?'
Even though I kept walking to my room, hearing that made me smile. I am grateful to have known the reason for that and not damaged this village.
After arriving at my room I could find a bed that was not too big in size, but it was quite spacious for my body which was still this brat.
A table and a small chair are also placed near the window of this room, at first glance it is like a study table then all parts of this room are quite clean even though it is made of simple wood.
I tried to sit on the bed, it seemed like this bed was filled with straw coated by several layers of cloth. It's pretty comfortable compared to my bed on the mountain.
The sky was getting dark when I opened the window in this room, there I could see the villagers who were still busy talking to each other in one of the courtyards.
Shortly after I noticed them, the grandmother who had been with me came walking over to them. From the expression of their faces it seems that the residents still disagree with the decision made by the grandmother.
Some of the existing residents also seemed ready to leave by packing their goods, there were even some horses that started to come.
Seeing that it was clear that they considered my existence a threat.
Noticing them made me not aware that the sky had become completely dark, some residents had also started lighting the lanterns they had.
'It's getting this cold, right?'
That way I closed my bedroom window and began to lie down on this warm bed.
They want to leave or stay I really don't care, however this bed really makes my back feel comfortable.
'Ah~ Steady!'
After lying down and closing my eyes for a while, I involuntarily began to fall asleep.
♤
The day had changed, I felt that this time I had slept for longer than usual.
Opening the bedroom window made me realize the sun had risen high enough, and I decided to go to the bathroom to wash my face.
When I walked out of the room and reached the front room, I saw the grandmother who was preparing food at the table.
The foods seemed to have just ripened, seeing how the steam fumes were created because it was still hot.
"No suji, come here. Let's eat together."
"I'll come after washing my face."
"Then I'll wait for you."
I also went to the bathroom outside the back of this house, you could say this bathroom might be quite prevalent in the medieval era.
I washed my face with the bag of water I always carry, for some reason I felt the water in this bag was cleaner and fresher.
'Lucky I chose this artifact.'
After I finished cleaning myself up, I went back in and went to sit at the dinner table with grandma.
"It looks like your sleep is very good, is the room comfortable?"
"Yes, that's pretty convenient. Was that your son's room?"
"That's right."
"Well, surely your son is gone and has a family, right?"
"Ha-ha, you sound like an adult."
"H-hehe, I'm just talking to you."
'Yes, I'm a grown-up.'
When I was thinking about it, my grandmother in front of me started talking again, but this time she was talking about a topic serious enough to be discussed with a child like me.
"So what are you going to do to this world, son?"
"Huh? Meaning grandma?"
"It seems you haven't realized that your existence is like a pandora's box?"
'Pandora yes.'
In my world the pandora's own box is a box or treasure chest that contains a curse, in short it is the source of a huge unwanted problem.
"I don't understand what Grandma's talking about at all."
"Obviously, your existence will make a big change in this world. Whether it's good or bad, so what's your answer?"
"I see, it means that son Suji will destroy the world huh?"
"No, I'm not interested."
"Then what?"
"I'll be the worst so I can manage the evil itself."
Surprised at my answer, the grandmother soon began to smile and put an end to this serious topic of conversation.
"I pray that the journey to your destination is smooth, then let's eat."
'Right as well, this food will be cold if not eaten soon.'
"Yes! Thank you for the meal Grandma, happy meal!"
"Good meal."
I started eating a soup containing a variety of vegetables in a wooden bowl, some vegetables look like carrots and potatoes.
With the aroma of spices I had never known before, I felt that this soup was not too bad.
The sauce feels quite bland, but it is not too because the aroma of spices that exist as if to help the deficiency.
And thanks to that soup I am ready to go today.
After we finished eating and cleaning all the utensils, grandma took me to go around the village while looking at how many citizens were left since my arrival.
Grandma told me that there are some residents who leave the village at night, the result is that grandma wants to see who still lives today.
When we walked down the existing housing, some residents who were on the move outside immediately went back inside his house when they saw me.
But from all that there was one brave little boy who appeared in front of me and made me stop.
"Yes! Edward!"
'So the family stayed, right?'
"Curtain! Because of you, many of my friends who left with their families left this village!"
My grandmother started shaking her head when she saw Edward trying to block my path.
"Ehh? Why are you blaming me?"
"Who else is to blame?!"
"Haha! Of course you. Because of you, I'm easier to control this village. The blwe!"
'Tempting a child seems to be exciting indeed!'
Hearing my answer angered him and he advanced while clenching his fists with all his might, unfortunately I managed to hold it off so easily.
'Now his body has not trembled with fear anymore.'
Sometimes hate and resentment will make someone very strong, even you like you have no fear of anything.
"It's a good spirit, but if it's just the spirit you have then you'll die in my hands sooner."
While one of my hands was holding his fist, my other hand began to approach his forehead until there I flicked at him casually.
It was enough to cause him to crash and fall, even if it was not far away but he floated quite high from the ground.
"G-hakhs!"
'A-do I overdo it?'
At that time Edward could only lie on the ground until finally me and my grandmother walked past him.
"Just this time I saw the village chief who was very unfriendly."
"What did grandma say? Isn't that grandma the head of her village?!"
"Of course not. Didn't you say you wanted to take this village into your own?"
"No-no! That's not what I mean, I just want this village to be my mikik legally jungle only. Does grandma understand?"
"So then, you're like an invader expanding your territory huh?"
"That's right!"
"Then now this village is no longer part of Tronaria Kingdom huh?"
"Tronaria kingdom?"
"Yes, it's one of the seven great kingdoms in the world, don't tell me you don't know about it either."
"He-he, I don't know grandma."
At that moment I realized that all the knowledge Aoryu gave me was just the basics about monsters, magic, and how to fight.
'Gosh.'
But anyway...
"Grandmother can I know what your name is?"
"Oh, I forgot my name a long time ago. But the villagers always call me grandma Bei!"
"Well?!!"
'How can he remember about this world, while his own name is not.'
When I thought about it without realizing it we had arrived at a big enough field, there I could see some people who seemed to be taking care of the field.
"What farm is this?"
"This is a wheat field, our village always supplies grain to the kingdom and in return we get processed from the wheat."
"Isn't it better if you cultivate it yourself?"
"Honey the processing machine owned by this village has long been damaged, but in the past we can get some gold pieces if we have processed it."
"Can the machine be repaired?"
"No, the power source for the machine is a very large mana stone. It's been used for decades so that finally the stone where it's been used."
'Wait, that sounds like a battery in my previous world.'
"Then can I see the machine?"
"Yes, of course. That's our next goal."
That way, me and the grandmother of the village head again continued the journey to where the wheat processing machine was located.
