A little nervous, Roby ventured to knock on the door, denying her a code of presence.

Brian glanced at his father as if giving a code, in hopes Veronika did not hear what they had just said.

With a forced smile Veronika welcomed Brian's greeting. He approached Brian's proud father with a salute to his arrival. His face was increasingly pale, trying to withstand the turmoil of mixed feelings.

“Good afternoon Mr Albert!!” the polite speech that came out from between Veronika's stiff lips bowed in salute.

“Sore.. Then you guys just chat, I still have affairs” said Albert who is none other than the father of Brian who does not want to be in one room with this famous arrogant princess.

“Brian, we continue the conversation at a later time!!” he continued, before leaving his place and then disappearing behind a large door where Roby and two Veronika servants stood.

The atmosphere was silent for a moment, eager for Veronika to gush Brian with an outpouring of resentment and anger that was mixed in him, but did not want him to be the center of gossip in this famous generous residence, which is very popular, his arrival has always been the center of attention.

“Heiii, what brought you here!!” sahut Brian finally who had been silent looking for a topic of conversation.

“I just visited, I didn't have time to talk to you before you came back!!” said Veronika who also tried to smile bitterly.

“You don't have to go overboard like this, wouldn't you rather just send a warrant so I can meet you at the palace, like you always did when we were kids!!” said Brian casually who increasingly discussed the past while thrusting a cup of warm tea on Veronika who looked pale on one of the sofas.

“Are you okay, your face looks pale Vero!!” he continued, landing the back of his right hand on the forehead of Veronika's field with his innocent gaze.

Sebatter Veronika was shocked, at a time like this still Brian was good to him which made him unable to make a decision, which was actually sad in plain sight.
