26 - Inauguration

Monday's flag ceremony has been completed. Now, only one event remains waiting, the appointment of a new manager. All the students were still in their original place, while lined up neatly. But that does not mean that there are no students who do not violate. Some unruly students ran straight to the cafeteria, or straight into her class.

Today is special. There is no guardianship by OSIS and MPK. Today they are busy preparing their hearts. Some of them are preparing their hearts to no longer be busy with organizational affairs. And some others prepare the heart, physical, and mental to carry out a fairly heavy position.

Nasha glanced to the left, where Alvin was standing. He then turned his head slightly to the right, looking at Liana who was standing with her hand. On his right was Calista who stood with a nervous face. He sighed, trying to stay calm.

He looked forward, where previous OSIS and MPK managers lined up. He could see that Rival was standing with the flag of OSIS in his hand. Beside him was Galih who looked handsome, but his eyes looked sad. Same with Arya. Although it looked still very dignified, his gaze was very sad. Like, not willing to give up his post.

"Teacher! Ready motion!" commando Rangga, and followed by all new managers.

"Straight up!"

The front and right rows begin to straighten out the rows and followed by the other rows. While tidying up the ranks, not a few of the new managers sighed. In a moment, they will step their feet to advance to the middle of the room.

"Straight!" said the corner of the line a little screaming.

Rangga sighed while looking confidently at Arya who was very far from his sight, "Step forward, walk!"

They began to move their legs, in line with their hands. Some of them have difficulty adjusting their steps to be the same as others. However, these small problems can be overcome easily because they do not want to bear the shame. They were being looked at by all the students, what would the students think if the lines alone they could not?

At the same time, the army led by Arya did the same. Now they walk closer to each other. One team was excited because soon they officially became the new manager of OSIS and MPK. And one more army they grieved at having to give up the office they had held for one year.

"Road in place, motion!" rangga Commando along with Arya.

All the troops raised their legs ninety degrees in turn. A few seconds later, Arya and Rangga ordered to stop and face the front of the main square. They could see the headmaster standing up while smiling proudly.

Rangga, Sherina, Devan, Amanda, and Alvin set foot forward as representatives. So did Arya, Adrina, Rival, and Galih. Arya who carries the MPK flag, Adrina carries a red and white flag, Rival carries the OSIS flag, and Galih carries the inauguration ceremony newsletter. And all these things will be handed over to his successor.

The headmaster patted the mic with his finger before speaking. Then he turned to Arya and Rival in turn, "Before the inauguration ceremony began, I want to say a lot of thanks to the manager of OSIS and MPK before. The past year has meant so much to me. Just this time, I got an MPK chairman and an OSIS chairman who met my standards. And I hope the next chairman of MPK and OSIS can follow in the footsteps of his brothers."

"I would like to advise the new managers of OSIS and MPK. Please, take good care of this trust. Soon you will be sworn. Please keep that oath until your service expires, until you have to hand over the office to your successor later. Don't play with the oath, and prove that your brothers didn't wrongly choose you as their successors."

Mr. Riza— school head— sighed after speaking. Although he had only witnessed the inauguration, it felt extremely heavy. He had to let go of Arya and Rival to focus more on his learning, and adapt back to the new OSIS and MPK chairmen. He then took a map containing a paper inscribed with an oath of office.

"Before you guys I appoint as the next manager of OSIS and MPK, let me ask you some questions that you must answer simultaneously."

"Would you be the next manager of OSIS and MPK?"

"Would you be a role model at Genmi Bandung High School?"

"Ready, ready!"

"Are you willing to uphold the good name of yourself, your family, and your school?"

"Ready, ready!"

"thank you. Now please hold the shoulders of your friends beside you. For the chairman of OSIS please hold the end of the flag of OSIS, for the chairman of the MPK please hold the end of the MPK flag, and the vice chairman please hold the end of the red and white flag. Then follow my words."

"*We the managers of OSIS and MPK solemnly promise,"

"Will carry out the duty of the Most Exalted God."

"Unspect the name of the alma mater of SMA Genmi Bandung."

"Reliefs to take time, thought, and energy for the benefit of OSIS and MPK."

"Will carry out this mandate until the end of the term of office*."

Mr. Riza closed the map after he finished reciting the oath that was repeated by all new administrators. All the students applauded. They are happy, because with this change of office, there will be a new breakthrough that will advance the school. However, there are also those who are eager for bad things, such as carrying out a coup.

"Please remove the tip of the flag" said Mr. Riza. A few seconds later he stepped off the podium and headed for the table where the news of the event was signed.

Finished with the signer, Bu Lili—builders OSIS—naik to the top of the podium with a different map in his hand.

"I will announce the new composition of the OSIS MPK department. Rangga Alvaro as MPK chairman. Sherina Pamela Renata as MPK vice chairman, Aulia Calista Jasmine as MPK secretary, Regina Cika Venata as MPK treasurer."

Hearing the announcement, all the new managers looked at each other in confusion. The reason, at the handover event the position of OSIS who served as treasurer of MPK was not Regina, but Fania. Why is there such a fatal mistake? If the typing error is not too fatal? This announcement will make all students believe that the treasurer of MPK is not Fania, but Regina.

"Not Fania?" nasha whispered to Liana who was standing in front of her.

"Fania had a problem with her parents yesterday. There was a change of position."

"Devan Julian Adhitama as OSIS general chairman, Amanda Haura Gabriela as chairman one, Devian Alvin Ervano as chairman two, Liana Nayra Natalie as general secretary, Arumi Nasha Andara as deputy secretary, Liana Nayra, Agatha Fiona Lansonia as general treasurer, and Angellina Daisy as deputy treasurer."

Liana slightly leaned her body backwards. Nasha, who is sensitive to it, leaned forward, "I feel bad, Sha."

Nasha looked confused, "Why?"

"At the beginning of our term there was already a rich gini problem. I hope there are no more serious problems."

Nasha shook her head slowly, "There's going to be a problem."
