7[] Unexpected Power

After Yenshi left, Smarta did exercises that left her completely exhausted every day. Day after day he spent running in the field for a week, after which he rested for a day, then continued his training again.

For 6 months he did just that, day after day he did not experience the slightest change, there was only a strong sense of fatigue, so strong,because he felt no progress he stopped doing the exercise because his body was exhausted,

"Hosh...hosh..hosh..when... I've done...exercise this...but I....do not feel.....the slightest difference...."samarta said in her heart.

Moments later Gradzio arrives suddenly behind Smarta,

"While practicing?"asked Gradzio who appeared suddenly, because he was so tired that he did not know how to respond,

"........."Smarta just looked at him,

"Are you okay?"ask Gradzio, please,

"I've been training for 6 months, but there's not the slightest change" Smarta said with a disappointed face.

After Gradzio watched Smarta carefully, he told her to stand up from her seat immediately,

"Are you sure?try standing there" said Gradzio, pointing towards the middle of the field,

"What are you gonna do?"ask Smarta confusedly

"Just do what I say" Gradzio said.

Then Smarta complied and stood in the middle of the field,

"I'm standing here, and what?"ask Smarta. (Gradzio throws a stone at Smarta suddenly),

werrrrrr, (Smarta managed to avoid it),"Hey what are you doing?I almost got the stone" Smarta said in anger,

"Thank God you're okay" Gradzio said in a relaxed tone,

afterwards Smarta was about to hit Gradzio, but before he hit him,

"Do you know?"ask Gradzio, please,

"What?"ask Smarta confused, please,

"So I threw it at almost the speed of a bullet" Gradzio said,

"What's a bullet?"smarta.gradzio asked, taking out a weapon from his pocket,

"So it's a bullet?"ask Smarta.

Gradzio pointed the rifle at the tree,

derrrr......,"Are you able to see the thing that just came out?"ask Gradzio, please,

"Yes I saw it, it's elliptical but it's a little pointy on the front, and the bullet's color is red, so why?"ask Smarta,

Gradzio was made a little surprised because so far no one had ever been able to see a bullet that was shooting, he said,

"That's a bullet....!..(silence for a moment) How can you see it?"gradzio asked in surprise,

"Everyone can see it because the bullet is very slow" Smarta replied in a lazy tone,

After some time of thinking, Smarta finally realized that the result of her training for 6 months was a "reflect", where she could avoid attacks at high speed though,

"How is that possible?"ask Smarta in surprise,

"You've only been running, haven't you?"ask Gradzio, please,

"Yes, all this time I just ran, was this the result of my hard work during the run?"ask Smarta with an excited face, though,

"To reach a level like you can only be achieved after your strength reaches 1 star blue, yet you can do so even before receiving soul drive" Gradzio said,

"Wow, what other kind of training do you know besides this?"ask Smarta,

"an important exercise as an Alien Slayer is running, hitting, ascetic, and sleeping" Gradzio replied,

"Wait a minute, what is ascetic?"ask Smarta, "Why it's like this"Gradzio sat down, then did the same thing Yenshi did,

"can't it only be done after receiving the soul drive?"ask Smarta,

"It's true, asceticism only works to improve soul drive, so for now the training you have to do is hit" Gradzio replied,

"Then sleep is also an exercise?"ask Smarta,

"Sleep is an exercise to reduce fatigue" Gradzio replied,

"So sleep can increase strength?"ask Smarta,

"Sleep can improve if and only if you've done exercises that really make you tired like you used to do for 6 months" Gradzio said.

Smarta is so happy because the training she has been doing gives good results, even more than she expected.

"Wow great power" Smarta said in admiration, saying,

"You just have to hit this tree to the ground" Gradzio said,

"Well I'll practice hitting from tomorrow" Smarta said.

Because they had been chatting for too long without them realizing it was late afternoon, Gradzio and Smarta returned to their homes.

"Have you checked the boy?"ask the mysterious man,

"Yeah, I'm looking forward to it,ha.ha.ha.ha.ha..haa" said the mysterious man with a laugh.

"Smarta ya..seems like now I know the reason the gem is not in the waterfall" muttered the mysterious voice.
