28[] A Puzzle That's Hard to Guess

Everyone looked confused as to what they faced in the last test,

"Damn what does this mean?"ask one of them to another, please,

"I don't get the point" Smarta thought,

"Damn how this is" said one while looking at the other.

"Please stand in front of us or behind us, if you dare to die, please stand in front of us, but otherwise if you want to retreat please stand behind us, now is the time to surrender" Marshi said

Some people give up because they do not want to die, but there are still few who have the courage to stick to their stance.

"I'm retreating" said one of them all,

"Hm alright, you're declared a failure, please leave this test area" Marshi said

"Well, since I've come this far, what should I choose?"thought Smarta,

"I wanted the weapon and I wasn't afraid to die" Harnely said, then Gradzio slashed it and the man disappeared,

"I want it too" said a few people then slashed by Gradzio and they disappeared

"Damn what does that mean?"thought Smarta,

"It seems like many of them want to step down" Klinto said,

"Have it, after all, I'm going to die in the end" Smarta thought

"I want it and I'm not afraid of death" Smarta said.

Gradzio slashed at him and he disappeared. A little while later he appeared in the area not far from there, and he saw the people who were cut down by Gradzio were in a place according to what they had decided earlier.

"Huh I'm not dead yet?"says Smarta,

"Either I still doubt the test at this stage, what exactly does it mean?"said Harnely,

"Come on, maybe we should just wait" Smarta said.

Moments later beside Smarta appeared Geani whom she had not seen at all.

"Geani??how did you get here?I didn't see you" Smarta said confusedly,

"Eheheeh I didn't show up because of–" Geani said,

"Are you ashamed?"ask Smarta,

"That's how ehehe" Geani said,

"Here it is, we better wait for the end of this test" Smarta said,

"You're right" Geani said.

Moments later everything that had been cut appeared and split into two teams,

"Alright, it's time for the final test" Marshi said,

"Then what was the test?"ask Smarta,

"So we just tested you whether you still want to be an Alien Slayer or not, if you're afraid then you don't deserve to be here, and unexpectedly it turns out there are many who are afraid of death"marshi said with a sigh

"Ooh so" thought Smarta,

"Then what's the final test?"ask Harnely, please,

"The final test is to say hello to each team because they have fought very well" Marshi said,

"Oh that, for those who answer "fear of death" then we will be assigned as a guard in the city of Downton at the main gate" said Marshi,

"Then the one who answers is not afraid of death?"ask Smarta,

"The answer is not to fear death, so we are assigned as Alien hunters out there" Marshi said

"So so I thought today I was going to the afterlife ahahahhah" Harnely said,

"Ahahaah I feel sorry for those who retreat" Smarta said,

"Please take the one that looks like it fits you, for the battle clothes we will send right in front of your house, and today's test we declare it complete" Marshi said.

Then each of the men took a weapon that seemed to match each of them. Once everyone gets the weapons they want,

"Well for now you can come back" said Marshi.

Then the committee disappeared from everyone's sight.

#On the Road Home

"Hey Geani, what did you pick up?"ask Smarta,

"I took this" Geani said as she showed me the weapon she chose,

"It's just a sword hilt, what's it for?"ask Smarta confused,

"I'll show it when we hunt aliens later" Geani replied while going in the opposite direction because their homes are different.

#Front of Smart House

"Today's huft is quite tiring" Smarta said,

"It's nothing if you haven't hunted the Alien" Gradzio said,

"What are you doing here?"ask Smarta,

"Ehehe had previously survived because he had graduated to Alien Slayer hunter section" Gradzio said,

"I didn't even understand the test earlier ahahaha" Smarta said,

"Have taken this" said Gradzio, giving Smarta a box,

"It's.." Smarta said,

"Right, it's an Alien Slayer combat suit" Gradzio replied

"This outfit is so light, is it strong?"ask Smarta,

"Of course, the material is not easily damaged, even if you try to tear it, this clothing will not be damaged" Gradzio replied,

"Wow, well thank you" Smarta said,

"Sama-sama "said Gradzio,

"Then after this what?"ask Smarta,
