Ugly Wife Of Blind Man

Ugly Wife Of Blind Man
The Part 67

"Dad? She why?"

Lucher looked at the dazed-faced Valerie and walked unsteadily with her father on her back. He could not help but be curious. It was nine o'clock more, but the little man had not slept because he wanted to wait for his parents to come home.

"He's a little drunk." Victor hugged Valerie and went inside his room. Then he put the man on the bed.

"Drunk?" Lucher is seen following her with a puzzled expression and thinking what it is to be drunk. He recalled watching television accidentally seeing news of drunk people beating someone. Lucher was frightened. "Dad ... will he hit?"

Victor soaked his lower lip with at least a small wound with his tongue as if remembering the sweet taste of the kiss in the car before. The corner of his mouth was pulled into a pleasant smile. "It won't hit anyone, but it might bite."

Lucher became even more worried. "really? Then how is this? I'm afraid he'll bite you."

Victor laughed lowly. "It's okay. I'll bite him back."

"Dad ...." Lucher was speechless. His little face was filled with anxiety. His eyes were fixed on Valerie who looked sleepy and dazed. "Don't bite him too hard. That's gonna hurt."

"Yes." Yeah." Victor smiled amusedly. "Don't worry. Go to your room and sleep."

Lucher glanced at Valerie once more and nodded obediently. "Good, Dad."

As Lucher left, Victor turned to look at Valerie. Even though his eyes were unfocused, he could see a faint hint of light.

"Victor ...," murmured Valerie who attracted Victor's attention. His half-open eyes looked at the man before him blurryly. "I want to take a shower."

Victor fell silent. He leaned over and approached. "Do you want me to bathe you?"

Valerie's face immediately flushed. "Ti-dak. I mean .. Help me to walk."

Victor laughed softly. Then he helped her get up to walk to the bathroom.

"According to the situation, you have a great chance to recover even if I don't find the reason" Ethan said after examining Victor's eyes. "The medicine I have prescribed, you don't need to eat it anymore."

Victor opened his eyes. This morning, the light he saw was clearer than yesterday.

Ethan's face looked happier. "With the speed of recovery you experience, it may only take a little time to see things."

Can you look back? Victor himself was convinced of this, but his expression did not change much. His mind was fixed on something. Every time his vision changed, it was the day after kissing Valerie. The first and second can be considered coincidences, but the third time? Not anymore.

Now Victor is more convinced, not because of his own recovery, but because of Valerie.

"Victor." That familiar soft voice came making the thought that ctoe was spoiled.

Valerie turned to look at Ethan and greeted him as she fell. "Doctor Ethan."

Ethan smiled back and nodded. He pushed his glasses to hide much astonishment when he saw Valerie. He rarely sees Valerie, as he also doesn't check Victor's eyes very often, so whenever he comes along, Ethan always feels Valerie's appearance changes too much. The longer he doesn't see, the more beautiful he is at his next meeting.

"What about Victor's eyes?" ask Valerie.

"That's ...." Ethan glanced doubtfully at Victor. Then switch back to Valerie with a stiff smile. "Just as usual."

Seeing his disappointed expression, Ethan felt a little guilty.

The Spare company's birthday banquet was held at a hotel that had been contracted. All the rich people in the city were invited to attend.

Then, at this moment, all the guests were present even before the banquet began. The men wore shiny black suits and shoes, while the women wore luxurious dresses and clothes with thick makeup.

The family that held the banquet was not present yet, many of the room guests were discussing and gossiping.

"Mr Javier will definitely be here tonight, but have you ever heard that Victor will be there? Since he was blind, he rarely showed his face, but did not expect that he would be present at this banquet" said one of the guests there.

Someone next to him laughed. "What does a blind man do at a banquet? Does he still want to show off and be arrogant?"

"But even if he's blind and not in power, but he still holds a major stake in the company's Spare."

"Yes, I know. Still, his fall from the top position was a shame."

"Not only that, I heard that she married a fat and ugly woman. Really, the perfect couple. I'm a little curious about his wife."

They all enjoyed to vilify and stomp on the man who used to be so arrogant and cruel. After all, Victor was the person everyone feared the most before.

At this moment, two incredible and shining figures appeared on the door of the hall making all attention be on the two.

The handsome and tall man in his sapphire blue suit looks like a royal prince. Then beside her, the beautiful lady in the white dress made her even more radiant. Everyone was amazed.

"Taun Javier is absolutely incredible. In addition to its stunning appearance, its ability also makes the company Spare benefit doubled."

"Yes. Although Victor's ability can not be denied, but his method is too hard and crazy. Maybe the Spare family only needs an heir like Javier, unfortunately, the biggest holder is Victor."

"You're right. Then next to him is Javier's wife? He looks really good."

"I heard she's just an ordinary woman, very lucky to be married to Taun Javier."

There were whispers and talks all around. Nuella tightened her grip as she clasped Javier's hand. Sensing jealousy and selflessness around her, Nuella lowered her head to hide her glowing eyes and a slanted smile in her mouth.

"Are you nervous?" javier asked as he felt Nuella's tight grip. He looked at his head and whispered softly. "Don't worry. I'm right here."

Nuella raised her head with a gentle expression. "Yes." Yeah."

On the other hand, Chelsea stood with a wine glass in her hand. He shook the glass so slowly that the water in it swayed. His eyes stared focused on the couple who had just entered.

Compared to the flawed Victor, Chelse, of course, preferred the appearance of Javier, which is more in line with the aesthetics of the male protagonist. Too bad, his best friend turned Victor into the male lead. Maybe, if he didn't know, he'd prefer Javier.

Chelsea took a sip of red wine in her glass and turned her gaze bored. He narrowed his eyes with his eyes back at the door of the hall.

After all, his main focus on the current banquet was Victor.
