At breakfast, Valerie had no intention of angering Victor anymore. In any case, it went down five times today, if it lost weight too quickly, it would be suspicious and too conspicuous.
"Victor, this is the cake I made early in the morning. I've changed the material. It was not as sweet as before. You can try it."
Victor raised next to his eyebrows. He thinks this cake was a souvenir last night. He ate it without speaking a word.
"I want to eat cake too!" pinta Lucher with passion.
Lucher had already completely no longer considered Valerie a bad woman after playing the swing yesterday. Right now, her big eyes were staring at Valerie expectantly.
"This is for you. Don't eat too much sweet, you're still a kid. Your teeth will be hollow."
With a gentle smile, Valerie handed over the part she had prepared to Lucher. Just a small piece, yet very beautiful. On top of the pink cream, there was a cute little red strawberry.
Lucher's eyes sparkled. He picked it up and mm quickly ate it greedily.
Valerie chuckled at that.

Previously, Valerie had hired people to get rid of all the flowers in the back garden and plant bamboo instead. The workers were very efficient, in just three days, a small bamboo forest had already appeared.
Currently, the morning sun is not too hot, very comfortable to enjoy the coolness in the bamboo forest. The sound of bamboo rubbing against each other sounded due to the wind.
After eating breakfast, Valerie stops Victor from going to his dark den as usual.
"Victor, you don't stay in your office all day. Come out for a walk. Earlier, I had already told some people to get rid of the flowers in the back garden. We can go there to get some fresh air and sunbathe."
Victor looked surprised. "You really plucked all the flowers?"
Valerie nodded in spirit. He had already done this for her, would Victor be moved by her?
After that, Victor smiled mockingly. "You already know that the flowers were planted by my mother. Now that you've plucked all the flowers, won't you be angered?"
Victor knew that Valerie had always tried to please her mother however, now she was doing such a foolish thing.
Valerie was shocked with wide eyes. He doesn't know.
His eyes immediately glared at Victor. "I really don't know! Why do you look happy? Are you so happy that I'll be angry?"
Victor smiled openly. "Yes." Yeah."
Valerie puffed her cheeks in annoyance. He reached out and took Victor's arm. Valerie directly pulled him towards the exit. "The substance has been removed, and it's too late to say that. I'll still be angry, let alone do useless work."
Victor was large and tall, but his sudden pull by Valerie made him somewhat staggered. "Let go!"
Valerie kept pulling him down the stairs without fear of him getting angry. "If you leave the house often, your appearance will not be feared by everyone, they will get used to it. Don't hide inside all day. Don't you get bored?"
"Don't use this aggressive method my captain, it's useless. And it'll make you look stupid."
Valerie was so angry that she threw away her hand.
Feeling irritated, Victor lifted the corner of his thin lips. "But now I want to go for a walk."
Victor held onto the stairs and went down one by one.
Valerie looked at him in annoyance.
In front of the house, Lucher who was playing with Brownie was shocked to see his father come out. He immediately smiled widely and approached her. "Dad!"
"Yes." Yeah."
Lucher pulled his hand. "I'll take you to sunbathe!"
Valerie also took another hand and pulled it down the pavilion. This time Victor did not refuse.
Near the bamboo forest, there are two long chairs made of emerald green bamboo, and there are also two white pillows placed on it. Next to the long cots there is a round table made of bamboo, looks very unique.
Valerie brought Victor to the bench and let him sit leaning back, she adjusted the pillow for him.
"Wait a minute."
Valerie rushed back to the room, and after a while, she returned with an additional tray in her hand.
Valerie was sitting in the other seat. He took Lucher and sat the little man on his lap. He asked softly. "Should we read a book to your father?"
Lucher initially did not want to be in Valerie's embrace, he felt embarrassed, both ears reddened. But hearing his question, he fell silent.
Lucher doesn't remember when he was a baby, but it seems he was never carried by an adult. Even his father never hugged him.
Valerie looked at her embarrassed face, her expression was very cute. He took a piece of watermelon and put it in his little hand. "After you've finished, take it yourself. Eat as much as you want."
Lucher's eyes sparkled. Her body loosened, and obediently leaned against Valerie's arm while eating her bowl.
Valerie took the book on the table. He opened a random page. The book he brought from Victor's study.
Before reading, Valerie glanced at Victor who was leaning on the chair. The sunlight through the bamboo falling on his face made the scar on his cheek become even more striking.
Valerie didn't think it was ugly in the first place. He had met many people who had handsome or beautiful faces, but behind that, there was an ugly and evil face.
Valerie read the title of the book and said. "I didn't expect you to read books like this."
"The books here are not mine," Victor said in a lazy voice.
Victor moved into this house only after he became blind. So, almost all of the items were not his.
Valerie turned the page casually and began to read the book. Before Valerie's voice was very good, but right now, her low voice made her sound even more soft.
Right now, in the silence of the bamboo forest, a gentle breeze made his voice growl and sent his soft voice into Victor's ears, like a whisper.
Lucher doesn't understand what Valerie is reading, but he enjoys her voice. He bit the spirit, once looking at Valerie and Victor cheerfully.
On the other hand, Javier walked on the path through the bamboo forest. Earlier, he had also heard that Valerie plucked the flowers and instead planted a bamboo forest in the backyard. Javier frowned.
As he arrived, the low and gentle reading voice of a woman fascinated him. His steps stopped and looked towards the pavilion.
Javier saw his uncle lying on a bamboo chair, his lips smiling. Next to her, Valerie was holding a book with Lucher in her arms.
Javier. He felt this view was quite extraordinary. After waking up, he eliminated his fascination quickly. Javier narrowed his eyes and walked closer towards them.
"Uncle."
Javier's low voice interrupts Valerie's reading and draws his third attention.
Javier looked at Valerie closely. Does she feel this woman is getting thinner?
He slightly shook his head and said to Victor. "Grandfather asked me to ask, does uncle want to celebrate his birthday next month?"
Victor raised his eyelids and turned towards Javier. "Truly celebrating my birthday?"
Javier's eyes blinked unnaturally. "Of course."
"You yourself see that my face is like this, do you want to humiliate me and make outsiders laugh?" Victor's expression was cold. "I'm not interested, and I'm still lazy to socialize."
"I understand uncle's intentions." Javier doesn't care about Victor's indifference. He glanced at the small western-style building, then turned to the unmoved Valerie. "If you and my uncle have needs, please tell me."
After that, Javier left.
"Continue reading! Were you so fascinated when Javier came?" Victor waited for a long time and did not hear Valerie's voice, he felt annoyed and sneered. "Do you think he's so handsome?"
Victor suddenly thought that his face was shattered, subconsciously comparing. He was a little disgusted and a little angry.
Valerie looked at Victor in disbelief. Hearing the ringing sound in his mind, he said immediately. "Javier isn't as good as you!"
Victor wanted to mock him. He has heard many of Valerie's compliments to Javier. However, the next second, Valerie's serious voice sounded. "The nose is not as straight as yours, the eyes are not as pretty and beautiful as yours, besides, the chin is not as perfect as yours."
"Victor, I'm not kidding. You really look a lot better than him."
"Yes! I look really good." Lucher.
"Rage rating: 0."
Victor frowned. He said cold. "Boring."
In contrast to his expression and speech, there was a hint of excitement in his pale eyes.
