CHAPTER 2

"Let's hurry..last!!!" her mother's name was Lacerna Dawson.

Eilaria came forward, picked up the luggage in the car, bowed her head timidly and under their disgusted gaze, she said, "You guys are back, lunch is ready."

His father Luke Carlton was increasingly dissatisfied with him, indifferent he said "No need, we've had lunch outside."

"At least tell me before." he said slowly. 'I don't need to cook lunch today' Eilaria complained inwardly.

After all he also could not eat it without their permission, the aunt in the kitchen watching him not to approach the kitchen when the dishes were ripe. If his family did not eat, all the food was given to the servants, and he would not get any food. If Uncle Wilis came, he would at least give him bread and a glass of milk.

Wilis' uncle was the butler of the Carlton family from when his grandfather was alive, he was very loyal to the Carlton family. But since his grandfather died 5 years ago, Uncle Wilis has rarely been home. In Carlton's family, only Uncle Wilis was so good to him.

Lilith who heard him laughed disdainfully and before she could speak, she saw the mother slam her fancy bag on top of the car and approached Eilaria first.

Lacerna annoyedly came closer and pulled Eilaria's chin roughly up to face each other. He gripped tightly until his sharp nails clung tightly to Eilaria's chin, then he said "Say that one more time..."

Eilaria did not hear his mother's words, she only felt the grip on her chin becoming stronger. Even though he was used to it, it still felt painful.

"Aren't you brave? Why not answer now, let's say it again...Mother is waiting for you to say it.." Those soft words do not match the cruel face that the Mother displayed before her.

"Even Mother, I dare not..." Eilaria stared in horror and could only plead in tears, holding onto Lacerna's hand which was clutching her chin. If she answered the mother's words, the torment she received would be heavier than this.

Lacerna had not slapped Eilaria in the face. Luke had looked at Lacerna impatiently and said, "What are you doing, quickly go inside...!!! Don't make me lose face here...!!!" with a poor look on his face, he looked away from Eilaria, waiting for Lacerna in front of the entrance.

Lacerna, who saw him, hurriedly threw Eilaria down, did not forget to take his luxury bag on the car, clean the dirt that was not in his bag, then walked quickly to Luke at the door. Placing his hand on Luke's arm while snorting in annoyance.

"Why I'm upset, my mood is bad right now, just continue inside the house" Luke told Lacerna. He was also very upset today, his business negotiations with the Carter family failed. His bad mood got worse.

Lacerna who heard him looked at Luke with a grin and in a good mood, he walked into the house.

Luke's voice was not loud, but it could still be heard clearly.

Feeling a bad feeling in his heart, upon seeing the grin that slowly appeared on Lilith's little face. Eilaria quickly straightened her body, but unfortunately she was a few seconds late, Lilith had already thrown a heavy shopping bag onto her body until she fell to the ground.

Laughing happily at the sight of Eilaria tumbling down and arrogantly he said, "Take all those things into my room.don't miss a single one!!!" while walking past it.

Eilaria was just silent and wanted to pick up the shopping bag that was strewn about, but from the corner of her eyes she saw Lilith who had already stepped away, stopped and turned towards her with a laugh, purposely adding a sentence, "Well, be prepared with the gift that my mother will give you.hahahaha.." which reminded Eilaria of Luke's earlier words. He knew that what the word 'gift' meant was his punishment.

After telling Eilaria, Lilith arrogantly raised her chin high and folded her hands in front of her chest, waltzing into the house.

After Lilith's departure, Eilaria saw Lyle who was left behind, who was silently watching from start to finish.

Lyle also saw the deeds of his parents and Lilith to Eilaria, but he had no intention of coming along to mock or help Eilaria, he just walked past her, wagging her unsoiled shoulders and going inside the house, as if I never saw it.

Looking at her brother's attitude like that, Eilaria didn't expect much. After all this family had already blackened from the roots, what was expected of him.

Eilaria sighed and woke up slowly picking up Lilith's shopping bag. Touching his painful chin, 'It will definitely hurt even more later' his inner self.

If in a bad mood they would vent their anger on him. Eilaria tried to calm her trembling body for a moment, before she walked slowly carrying the items in her hand into the house, and faced the punishment she was about to receive.
