Chapter 71. Crackle

Anxiety suddenly appeared on Elina's face. He no longer felt worthy to be with Evan. He looked up, looking at the face of the husband who was closing his eyes.

Sensing movement, Evan opened his eyes. He lowered his head to look at Elina's face. He was a little confused by what the woman's face showed.

"Why?" asked Evan gently.

"Mas Evan, I ...." Elina hesitated to say it. He lowered his head, thinking back to what he wanted to say.

Evan grabbed Elina's chin, raising her face to look at him. He raised both eyebrows in order for Elina to continue her words. But the woman was still silent.

"Sorry." That was all Elina could say. He was too embarrassed to open his memories again when he was at the hotel. He was afraid that Evan would get angry and not accept.

"For what?" ask Evan. He never had any hatred for Elina. Everything that this woman did was forgotten.

Evan immediately placed his index finger on Elina's lips. The man did not want his wife to continue. All of that will only remind her of the figure she hated so much. He nodded his head as a sign of understanding what the woman was going to say.

"You helped take Elina's bath" whispered Diyah. He immediately closed the door.

Evan was stunned to hear the mother's whisper. How she can help Elina take a shower. Never really thought of him.
