Chapter 43. Uncovered

The tense atmosphere was visible in the living room of the Cahyono family. Evan was confused by Elina's accusation. He never went out with another woman. Especially eating in a restaurant. The accusations made no sense to him.

"Try to say it clearly, El. When and where did you see me walking with another woman" Evan said. He felt that his wife had seen wrongly or perhaps, himself who could not remember when he had gone with another woman.

"When I walk with Flowers. I saw Mas Evan again eating alone with a woman." Elina pulled on the tip of the lip. He feels like winning now.

Evan tried to recall when it happened. However, before she could truly remember, Elina had already sneered with a question.

"Mas, Evan can't stay up anymore, can he?"

"El, I'm not like that. I've got a wife, what's the other woman doing."

"Yes, maybe not satisfied with me," said Elina, "because Mas has not got rations from me," he whispered. He did not want his parents to hear that last sentence.

"I have to act. Elina should be taught how to satisfy her husband" murmured Diyah.

Meanwhile, Verry just shook his head. He doesn't know what to do. If the bed, they should be the ones who can handle it. Perhaps, one day he would give Evan some advice.

"No. I don't care about it," Evan said, "but I really have nothing to do with that girl, El. I could swear."

Evan dared to take the oath because he wanted to clear his good name. He knew that both of Elina's parents had been listening to their conversation. Moreover, the wife always spoke in a high tone.

"Don't swear easily. The oath is heavy. I've been eating with other girls, still cringe if there is a relationship, tuh, girl."
