Traps

Episode 20's

Reynard was annoyed by the actions of all his men who did not follow his orders. He clucked all the way to his dwelling in this city.

"You should have let me finish that guy!". Ketus Reynard to Asolf who was sitting next to him.

" The boy is Mario the younger brother of Mr. Marvin who is currently cooperating with us". Asolf.

"I don't care who he is. He has dared to interfere in my affairs". Reynard groaned furiously.

"It looks like she's Miss Merry's lover, it's only natural that she's upset to see you acting like that to Miss Merry". Asolf said very calmly.

"Merry won't be that easy to forget about me, I know he still has a taste for me". Reynard muttered inwardly as he rubbed his lips in light of the hot kiss he had forced on Merry.

Reynard's car now passes through a towering iron gate, the only entrance to the DANKER housing complex.

The house in the complex is deliberately built to facilitate people who work in DANKER grub-owned companies. The company does provide the best facilities for all its workers, ranging from transportation, housing to education for their children.

It was all given as a gift during their service to the DANKER company.

But this time the atmosphere was different. Housing that was once very crowded is now a little quiet.not even a few houses that look uninhabited.

Reynard slightly lowered his car. His eyes began to pierce corner by corner. " Where are the people who used to live here?". That sentence now crossed Reynard's mind.

"Some people have moved and are looking for other jobs because DANKER companies are not as strong as they used to be". Asolf who seemed to be able to read Reynard's mind suddenly said casually.

"Then that guy?. How's he doing?". Reynard's aura turned dark as he asked about someone.

"If you mean Mr. Albert, as I recall he should still be held for approximately three more years. This is because there are still seven years from the ten-year detention period obtained". Asolf.

" If I may know, why did you meet Miss Merry?". Asolf Imbuh.

"I just want to know what he can do without me". Reynard said haughtily.

After passing through several houses, now Reynard and his people have arrived at the main part of the housing. A magnificent building located at the end of the road. The building was many times larger than the previous house.

Asolf got out of the car first. Then walk a little round towards Reynard's door.

" I've assigned some people to clean this house before. But if you do not want to spend the night here, I will book a VVIP room at one of the hotels around here". Asolf said he saw Reynard who was reluctant to get out of the car even though the driver had opened the door for him.

"No need". Reynard said and got out of the car.

Reynard walked first into the building, and was followed by Asolf who followed behind along with others. Step by step Reynard entered the house deeper. His eyes continue to explore every wall of the building which clearly presents some classic paintings and photos of the Danker family are still well maintained.

But the longer Reynard's footsteps weigh, until it finally weakens and makes Reynard fall down. Asolf immediately moved to help stand back up but Reynard brushed him off. He refused with rude help from Asolf.

"Don't help me, stay away I can be alone". Reynard's exclaim was accompanied by an impulse to Asolf. Asolf eventually distanced himself from there without saying anything.

Reynard tried to get up and stand but he fell again, he tried again many times but still the same. His legs were slumped unable to move following his thoughts. His eyes finally spilled water that was no longer able to be contained. Reynard groaned as if in so much pain that his face turned red and showed his muscles. The desperate Reynard now sat tightening his body while hugging his legs. His cry echoed through the silence of that night.

Asolf could no longer see his master and nephew so tormented. He immediately told the burly man behind him to lift Reynard to the room he had been resting in seven years ago.

Reynard just resigned, his body was not able to move at all. He just closed his eyes remembering everything that had happened in that house. His memories with his parents, the memory of the past that now makes him so helpless and weak that he was finally unconscious.
