Trapped in a Sacred Prison

Trapped in a Sacred Prison
CHAPTER 38

The expression of love is not only a form of verbally proven taste, it can also be a sedative when the heart is troubled.

Getting a confession of love is common for Uldi, but this is the first time he feels happy when he gets the phrase. It is like the rain that soaks his arid heart and like the sun that illumines his dark heart.

"I'm sorry that I just said it, actually I don't want to say it until you graduate, so that your mind isn't disturbed during school, but considering I have to go back to Cairo, I don't want to say it, and maybe we will never meet until you graduate and so do I, so I want to express it now," said Ammar still staring bead beautiful eyes Ulli.

While Ulfi, the girl was speechless a thousand languages. He looked into Ammar's eyes, and there was nothing he could get but an eye for honesty.

"You don't have to answer, I realize it's not easy to love someone who is married suddenly, and I won't force it, I just hope you can accept this marriage sincerely, she said, not because there is no other choice" continued Ammar because it did not get an answer from Ulufi.

"I..." Ulfi was about to speak but somehow his tongue felt so heavy.

Ammar silently listened to the words of Ullis.

"I've accepted this marriage, I sometimes imagine, if time goes back to my time blurred and I was faced with a choice between being married to ustadz or being suspended, then I will still choose to marry ustadz" explained Ulli.

"Why?" ask Ammar curious.

"Because..." Ullis hung up her answer.

Ammar looked seriously at Uldi looking forward to his continued words.

"Sorry ustadz, I can't say it yet ustadz" replied Ulli finally.

Ammar smiled, he held both hands of Ulfi. "It's okay, I'll be patient waiting for it, I'm already very happy because you finally want to accept this marriage," he said, taking off Ulfi's hand and returning to pack his things into a suitcase.

Ulfi who saw his summation so busy finally planned to help, but soon in Ammar detained.

"You better go to school now, today's exam is delayed tomorrow so you have to hear the announcement of a new exam schedule" said Ammar.

"But ustadz.."

"Go, take it easy, I won't leave before saying goodbye to you." Ammar cut off the words of Uldi who wanted to protest.

"Oh yes, come here tonight, I want to take you to study together before I leave tomorrow" Ammar said, making the girl nod and then go to school.

Night had arrived, the students seemed to have returned to their respective dormitories after dinner in the cafeteria. And so did Ammar who had just finished his dinner.

As promised, tonight he will find his little wife studying. Although he received an invitation to give thanks outside, this time he refused because he did not want to spend his last night with Uldi before he left for Cairo.

Shortly after, the sound of the front door of the house Ammar was heard on knock from outside, and shortly after that the door was opened by Ulli who had just arrived.

"Assalamu 'alaikum ustadz" he said when he found Ammar was in his room lying on his bed.

"Wa'alaikum salam" said Ammar, rising from his sleep. "Eat already?" he asked Uldi who was now standing near Ammar's desk and put his bag there.

"It's ustadz" replied Uldi and sat his butt in the chair.

"Okay, now is the time for Miss Ulf to study, what's your exam schedule tomorrow?" ask Ammar.

"Aqidah akhlak and fiqh" replied Ulli.

"Well, isn't it nahwu and Arabic?" ask Ammar.

"It's not ustadz, it's the exam schedule, but because it's not a test so the exam schedule is moved to the same day next week," explained Ulli.

"Oh yeah, hahaha." Ammar laughed for a moment and pulled another chair near the table where Uldi was studying.

Ulfi finally began to learn by being guided directly by ustadz and her husband. Occasionally the man gave an example of the problem to be answered by Uldi and asked the proposition of the laws described in the subject of fiqih maupu aqidah.

Ammar smiled to see his wife who had fallen asleep, he lifted Ulfi's body and moved it on the mattress.

The man stared at his wife's face long enough, a face he would miss for the next year. It seemed that he did not want to sleep for the sake of staring satisfiedly at Ulli's face.

"Thank you for accepting this marriage" he said, then slowly peeked at Uldi.

The sun has risen to meet a new day better, to be the beginning to start a new hope as well as the beginning of the separation of Ammar and Uldi for the next year.

Ulfi who was ready with her school uniform helped Ammar prepare, she even helped Ammar buttoned the shirt on her husband's body.

Well, this is the first time she's done that since she was Ammar's wife.

Ammar who saw Uldi so focused on buttoning his clothes just stared fixedly at the girl's face, the distance was so close that his heart beat fast.

When finished buttoning the shirt, Ulli switched to take a jacket to wear to Ammar's body.

"Well, it's ready" said Ulfi smiling but it was clear that the smile did not reach his eyes.

Somehow the girl felt so heavy to let go of Ammar this time, it felt like she could not if she had to part with her husband for more than a year.

Not wanting to look sad, Uelfi immediately turned around, but his hand was suddenly pulled by Ammar, making him lose his balance and hit the chest of the man's field. In the next second Ammar immediately hugged him and refkexed the hand of Uldi to return Ammar's embrace.

For a long time they were silent in that position, until Ammar felt the body of Ulfi vibrate, the longer the more felt, even the sound of a sobbing that managed to escape from the mouth of Ulfi.

Ammar knew that at this time the girl was crying, was Uldi crying because he was not willing to part with her? Ammar did not know, but he was already quite happy because Uldi chose it as a place to shed his tears.

"Ustadz, take care of your health there, do not ever get sick while there," the voice of Ulfi shivering sounded between his sobs.

Hearing Ulfi's words, Ammar pulled the tip of his lips and nodded slowly, "God willing, you also take care of health well," he replied so gently.

Tin

The sound of a car horn that would take Ammar into the city with Balqis made the two aware until their arms came off.

Ammar slightly bent his knees to look at the face of Ulli who was bowed.

The man lifted Ulfi's chin then rubbed his tears slowly.

"Have not cried, you're so beautiful when you cry, I don't want people to see you like this, it's enough of me, okay?" said Ammar, making the girl in front of him nod slowly and smile a little.

"Ulfi, I have a request" Ammar said later.

"What's that?" asked Ulfi in a slightly hoarse voice.

"I'm not going to force you to love me, and I'm going to tell you this one year to think about how you feel until I get back."

Ammar stopped his words and took out a box and gave it to Ulli.

"If you already love me then wear this when we meet again, but if you haven't loved me yet, don't wear it so I don't misunderstand."

Ammar held Ulfi's hand when he opened it.

"Don't open it now, open it when I'm gone."
