Chapter 17 - Next Goal

The next morning Qin Chen said goodbye to Chu Lian, he went alone to the City and used the Teleportation Array. Chu Lian could not come along because she had to prepare to break through to the Sky Level, yet she was confident that Qin Chen would still be fine because he was strong.

Qin Chen went outside the borders of the Soaring Heaven Sect territory, he went down the forest and continued moving forward without any care. As for the Beasts he encountered were not very powerful, yet none of them were allowed to escape and all of them died.

A Wolf was running at an incredible speed, a fierce wind gathered enveloping the Wolf's body and Qin Chen raised his finger. Yin Yang energy gushed from his fingertips and the Wolf did not have any time to dodge, the condensed Qi penetrated his head and in an instant the Wind Wolf died.

Qin Chen took the Beast Core and a flash of light flashed from above, Qin Chen immediately retreated and avoided it. The ferocious Spiritual Qi shattered the ground and the figure of the Man in black robes appeared, his cultivation was on par with Qin Chen and was quite troublesome.

"Why did you attack me, sir ?" Qin Chen asked coldly.

"The Wind Wolf handed it to me along with its Beast Core, if you obey I will let you go !" The man said in an arrogant tone.

The man darted towards Qin Chen and his Qi enveloped his fists, seeing this Qin Chen quickly dodged his powerful fist lunge with shadowy steps. The man turned around and a ferocious Flame gushed out from his palm, the Fire Snake slowly began to form and revolved towards Qin Chen.

"Bragging trick." Qin Chen took out his Sword and swung it.

His Spiritual Qi formed a Sword blade and collided directly with the Fire Snake, both of them shattered simultaneously and an incredible cold Aura of death sensation could be felt by the Man.

"When has it been ?" The man looked around him and he was surrounded by dozens of ice thorns with sharp edges.

The man was currently unable to dodge and his only path was simply destroying it, a huge flame blazing like a whirlwind yet Qin Chen only responded to it like useless trash. His ice was extremely strong and the Fire formed from Spiritual Qi would not be able to melt it.

"Death." Dozens of ice spikes slammed towards the man and stabbed his body until it froze.

Qin Chen burned the man's body to ashes and took out his Space Ring. There were at least a few precious Spirit Pills present inside and Qin Chen could use them later to cultivate.

Qin Chen decided to resume his journey and not far from his place were not a few people fighting. Judging from his appearance it was likely that they were from the same group as the person who attacked him just now, yet most of them were still at the Body Forging Level and only two people were at the Spirit Soul Level Initial Stage.
