TOWARDS THE END OF THE ROAD

TOWARDS THE END OF THE ROAD
1. First Arif knows the outside world.

I'm Arif. I lived in the flower city from the age of 10, and my mother became TKW overseas.

While father still looking for work around the island of Sumatra alone.

I don't know why you're looking for work out of town and why not in Bandung.

I was still attending one of the primary schools in the Soreang area of Bandung district.

I am currently 12 years old. Yes, I have been in Bandung for two years.

That morning I went to a school not too far from my house to live with my father and my maid. After everything was ready, I climbed on my father's motorbike which was ready in front of the gate of the house.

"Are you ready?"

Ask the father who knows I still justify the helmet and bag I use.

"It's yeah."

Answer's short. I then asked my father to immediately plug the gas because the clock was showing at 7:00 am.

I didn't feel like I was in front of the school gate.

"Udah. What time will I pick you up?"

Ask my dad after he dropped me off.

"Jam 1an yah."

I answered while kissing the back of my father's hand.

"Okay, I'll pick you up."

Said dad while turning his motor.

"Yes." Yeah."

I answered him, who also stepped into the classroom. In class, many of my friends are waiting for Indonesian teachers to come in.

"Assalamualaikuum."

My greetings in front of them all.

"Maalaikumsalaam."

Answer them in unison. I headed towards the middle of the bench from the front. In this class there are 28 benches lined up on the right 14 left 14. I sat on the number 7 on the left side of the entrance.

Shortly thereafter, Mr. Dadang came in.

"For all."

Sweepings.

"For paaak."

Our law is in unison.

The lesson begins. I can take lessons well today.

Until it does not feel the clock has shown 09:30 which means the break time has arrived. The children rushed to the cafeteria except for me, Fida, Ari and Nanang.

Arriving at the park, my friends and I took out their own provisions.

"Eh fid, what are you stocking today? How come you just shut up?"

Tanya Nanang who saw Fida was just daydreaming staring at the end of the tree trunk that was in front of this park.

"No, I don't have any supplies. My mom didn't cook today because she was visiting my sister out of town."

Answer with a blank look.

"Owh, here, I have some bread for you. That's fine, odd first."

Tawar Nanang's.

"Yes, thank you."

Fida answered while taking the bread held in Nanang's right hand.

"Rif, I think Fida's upset again."

Ari asked half a whisper.

"Yes, his face is very moody."

"Yes, why do you think?"

"You don't know Ri, you ask me I'm her mother?"

Reply annoyed.

"Hehehe. Yes, it's time."

Ari again.

We ended the conversation and headed for class as the bell came in.

After class, there were no teachers. It was 10:00 already.

We waited for him while preparing a Sundanese book.

"Wilujeng noon sadayanaa."

Good afternoon everyone.

Sapa bu Euis as soon as he came in front of the class.

"Mr."

Answer us again in unison. The lesson begins. I honestly, lack interest in learning Sundanese with Bu Euis because it teaches him too convoluted.

But yasudah, how else would I think.

The hour home has arrived. We immediately rushed towards the gate. Except for me, Ari, Nanang and Fida.

We headed back to the park.
