Thousand Tricks of the God of Gambling

Thousand Tricks of the God of Gambling
Episode 7's

I started dealing with cards.

With a deck of playing cards totaling 52, I had complete control over every card I gave.

Even though you looked at me without blinking, even though I slowed down the speed of hand movements, you still could not tell.

These are all children's games, just basic skills for beginners in magic tricks.

Because I've lost a lot before.

This time, Andi and Susan stood up.

The two stared earnestly at the cards in my hand.

To make sure they can see each card, I give it clear.

Usually when playing with other people, I often shuffle the cards.

But when playing for myself, I use my fingers to cover the mark on the back of the card.

When I got the card on the table, I covered it with a cigarette box.

However they looked, they could not see my card.

After all the cards were given, both Andi and Susan looked excited.

Or, rather, nervous.

Because both of their hands are strong, strong enough that they fear the other players will give up instead of playing.

I am the bookie, so I have to place a bet first.

Before I took out the money, Andi suddenly said to me, "Six, dare to play blind against me again? I can't believe you can still beat me this time!"

Susan immediately spoke up, "If Six wants to be considered a man, he must continue to play blind against my lover! If you win this blind game, tomorrow I'll find you one girl from the bathhouse, and you can choose whomever you like!"

Both sound the same.

One provokes, the other lures me with a beautiful woman.

"Well, I'll play blind!"

As I spoke, I placed 20 grand as a bet.

The next opponent is the Keling.

As before, he chose not to play blind and instead looked at his cards.

The way he looks at the cards is similar to that of many regular gamblers.

He shuffled the cards with passion and then looked at it slowly.

That way, the cards will get better.

When the Keling saw clearly the three cards in his hand, he was seen breathing more heavily.

His dark face was even slightly flushed.

Keling got a good card.

Since playing poker, he had never gotten a card this good.

Of course, I know what the cards are, and Andi and Susan know it too.

Three Jacks!

Three of a kind!

Pouring his excitement, Lao Hei immediately placed a bet of 40 thousand.

Andi, of course, did not want to see his cards and also placed a bet of 20 thousand.

The next player chooses to look at his cards and surrender.

And so it was, the three of us kept betting, round after round.

No one wants to give up.

About 4 million have been placed on the table.

Since the Keling saw his cards early, he went on to place a 40 thousand bet each time.

He only had a little over 200 thousand left on the table.

Looking towards Andi, Keling tried to convince him, "Andi, why not give up, and I will fight this child..."

As he spoke, Keling even blinked his eyes at Andi.

He means well, trying to tell Andi that his cards are good.

However, Andi immediately refused.

"Why can't I play? I will play with him until the end! What's the matter? If you don't have enough money, I can lend you!"

That's where Andi became a criminal.

He always claimed the Keling was his best friend.

But he knows his cards are better than Keling's.

Yet he still wanted to lend money and let the Keling bet.

This guy will fool anyone.

After saying that, he gave 1,600,000 to Si Keling as a loan.

And on his own desk, he only had a little over a million left.

Since I had won before, I still had about three million on my desk.

The three of us continued the bet.

After a few rounds, the 1,600,000 belonging to the Keling was reduced to only a few tens of thousands.

He held the card in his hand and said to Andi and I. "We play with this alone, no more bets. Let's take it out; whoever has the highest card he wins!"

I didn't say anything.

Because I expected Andi would definitely not agree.

Andi firmly said, "No need to be expelled! If you don't have money, you can borrow it; if you don't, don't play!"

The Keling was also angry, his face was full of reddening.

Suddenly, he threw his card at the table and shouted, "Son! I have three Jacks! How could I not play?"

No one thought that the emotional Keling would open his cards.

Waw!

Everyone at the table was amazed.

Three cards of the same number are high cards in a poker game.

Especially if the three cards are Jacks.

Only the order of Queen King As cards can defeat him.

"Lend me the money and I'll compete with him!"

The Keling shows his cards while trying to convince Andi.

But Andi was obviously not happy with the actions of the Keling who opened his cards.

With a serious face, he unhappily said, "No loans. I only have so much left. I want to play to the end with him!"

The Rivet was angry but helpless. He ran out of money and could only say in frustration, "Alright, you guys just play. I want to see who can beat my card!"

Now, only Andi and I are left at the table.

Andi seemed afraid that I would look at my card and give up and run away.

So he immediately said to me, "Six, how about we not bet 20 grand once in a while, it's too troublesome. Let's go all-in, the winner takes it all. What say?"

Inwardly, I was making fun of him, but my face remained expressionless.

While lighting a cigarette, I looked at the money a few hundred thousand in front of Andi and said, "All-in doesn't matter, but you should be all-in with how much money you have."

My voice was cold, as if challenging Andi.

"Want to bet how much? I'll come along!"

"Just right!"

I've been waiting for this response.

I slowly slipped my hand into my pocket.

Inside was a pile of hundreds of thousands of dollars.

This is the red envelope Meyra gave me after we finished playing mahjong this afternoon.

"Twenty million, I'm all-in!"

Twenty million?

Everyone at the table was shocked.

Everyone saw me.

They were all surprised how I could have so much money.

Keep in mind that Andi has the highest salary here.

But he only earns 3 million a month.

Twenty million, for those of us who are the lower society groups, is nothing more than luck.

Andi stared at the pile of money in front of him.

There was astonishment in his eyes.

But more than that, there is gluttony.

He decided that all the money was his.

"Boss, come!"

Andi shouted outside the door.

The boss opened the door and entered, and Andi immediately said, "How much money do you have? Lend it all to me, I'll return it once we're done here!"

The boss frowned and said with a hint of despair, "I've already deposited all my money this morning. I only have a little over 1.6 million..."

That number is too little.

Andi frowned.

Then he questioned the others at the table.

"How much money do you have? Lend me!"

Unfortunately, by combining the money they are still less than 4 million.

There was no way out, she turned to Susan.

"What about you? How much money is left?"

Mentioning the money, Susan looked unhappy.

"I only have 600 grand left, haven't I given it all to you? I don't have any more money. If you want, just use me as a bet!"

As he spoke, he even stared at Andi sharply.

Helplessly, Andi looked at me and proposed, "Six, how about you wait for me? I'll go borrow and come back!"

I did not refuse, but I added a condition.

"Alright, but I'll start counting from now on. If in an hour you don't come back, I assume you give up and lose!"

Andi hesitate.

His friends all came from the lower layers of society.

It would be difficult for him to borrow 20 million in an hour.

Looking at the pile of red-colored money on the table, he could not bear to let it go.

Suddenly, he moved his gaze back to Susan.
