“I've tried it, refused an opa request to marry you. You know what happens next?” Reichard grabbed Emily's chin and looked at her sharply.

Emily did not want to answer, she just shook her head and shifted her gaze from the two eyes of Reichard who had been greatly admired by her. A pair of eyeballs that were green like glittering emeralds, was a pair of eyes that used to often look at him with gentleness and give spirit to him.

But the gaze of those eyes seemed to be a sharp sword that again pierced into his heart. It hurt a lot for Emily, while her heart still trembled with admiration at the sight of her.

“Opa had a heart attack, and had to be treated intensively for almost a month in the ICU. Opa only realized when I tried to convince her to marry you.” Continue Reichard with a very raucous voice.

Emily's tears broke again.

Emily tried to raise her face and returned Reichard's gaze.

“Besides heart, are there any other diseases in opa body? Why is the doctor saying he won't be around much longer?” Ask Emily curiously.

Reichard took a deep breath. Then returned Emily's eyes.

“Opa..at diagnosis of cardiac sarcoma. Malignant tumors are quite rare in the heart muscle and blood vessels around the opa heart that has invaded the heart tissue. Although the tumor has been removed from there and routine opa chemotherapy, but opa pessimistic doctors can last longer, considering the age of opa already ninety years more.” Answer Reichard.

It is fitting that the opa looks much thinner and its thick white hair is thinning. Apparently because of that...Emily's inner self grimaced.

“Why are you telling me now?” Emily's Protest.

“Opa does not want to be pitied, he even forbid me to tell other large families about this disease.”

“Do Aiden know?” Emily asks Emily again, so far only Aiden is still intensely in touch with Emily when Opa Haghen returns to the Netherlands and Reichard disappears from his life.

“No!” Answer Reichard briefly.

Aiden was Reichard's half-sister, six months after his birth mother died, his father Reichard remarried to a widow with one of his former lovers. His birth mother Aiden, but just three months into their marriage, both had a tragic accident that left them both dead.

Aiden was only two months older than Emily, who was six at the time. Reichard was three years older than them. Since his parents died, Haghen's opa cared for and raised Reichard and Aiden.

“Surely it's you with Aiden?” Ask Reichard.

“Ya, of course!” Emily replied with great confidence.

“Has she ever been honest with you about her feelings?” Ask Reichard again.

“Which feeling?” Ask Emily.

“Hahahaha you said very sure Aiden won't hide anything from you. That's it he's still so weak, you coward!” Reichard had never liked his half-brother since Aiden came into his life.

“Don't insult her again! To me you are the only cowardly man in this world!” Grumpy Emily.

“It's still the same hahaha, stupid Aiden and fierce Emily protect him.” Reichard left Emily after saying those words to enter the bathroom.

For a moment Emily was silent trying to understand Reichard's words about Aiden's feelings. And finally Emily ran after Reichard who had entered the bathroom.

Bukkk!!! Emily violently opened the bathroom door. And...

“Arghhh basic pervert!!! Cheater!! A crocodile!!! Coward!!” Maki Emily when she accidentally saw Reichard who was bathing under the water without a sheet of yarn.

Reichard only smiled faintly at Emily's reddened face, the woman continued to scold her but did not close her eyes at all. He's still that innocent and defending Aiden from me. Why is he still stupid not realizing how much Aiden loves him. He's still a fool with being too obsessed with me...Emily...Emily...Reichard murmured in his heart.

Reichard immediately picked up the towel and dried his entire body. Then wrapped the towel around his waist. Slowly Reichard opened the bathroom door, and he was quite surprised to see Emily lying in front of a large mirror not far from her bed.

Damnit damnit! Why did he faint again! Reichard grunts.
