The World's Different Lover

The World's Different Lover
The Past Part 2

Having no choice, Roro was forced to go down. Because otherwise, Prabu Dharma threatened to slit the tree with his very sharp sword. He no longer cared how his daughter felt. The crying broke even more as Roro was raised into the horse carriage. Oath to God, Roro will not be married to Prince Hanung Praja.

Arriving at the palace, Roro ran before the Queen's mother. She hugged and complained of her fatigue because of this forced marriage.

“Mother, Roro does not want to marry Prince Hanung Praja. Roro doesn't love her. Roro just wants to marry the person Roro loves, Mother ..”

“Nduk, you must obey what your father said, otherwise your father will be very angry,” said Queen Saraswati as she stroked the back of her daughter who is now in her arms.

“But Mother, Roro does not want to. The father is evil!” the screech is so loud. Makes Prabu more angry.

“That's the result if you overindulge him!” spray Prabu Dharma to his wife. “The more days, your daughter is looking up at me. Teach him to be a well-mannered boy.”

“Just until whenever Roro never want to marry the Prince!”

Prabu Dharma held his hand high. “How dare you still yell at your father also—”

“Prabu!” exclaim the Queen so that Prabu stopped his action that was about to slap Roro Ageng. “Please don't do that, if Prabu wants to hit. Hit me who is always wrong in educating. Don't hurt him and don't you fuck your hands to hit him.”

“Be careful of him, you have always been like that!” call Prabu Dharma. “You don't know how embarrassed and sick it is to be me. Because of him, the friendship that has been established for decades is broken because of today.  What more shameful than this Queen!?”

“But he has his own life, Prabu. She has the right to choose who will be her husband. If later he is unhappy, will not we regret this matchmaking for life.”

“What's wrong with Prince Hanung? He's a good knight. I'm sure she'll be happy after marriage.”

“Love cannot be forced!” queen Trench.

“But love will come if you get used to it, the proof is me and you. We are betrothed too but eventually we can love each other and accept each other's shortcomings.”

“No, Father, no,” says Roro. “Roro and Prince Hanung have opposite characters. He is as hard as a rock, Roro tends to give up, what happens if we are together later. We obviously can't be put together. It will not be good for my mental health in the future, because I will continue to be tormented later.”

“Daddy won't hear any explanation from you, you'll still marry Prince Hanung!” firmly Prabu who has been embarrassed by this failed party. How many treasures has he poured out?

Prabu wrote letters to princes Hanung and Prabu Airlangga. The inscribed Javanese script says Prabu Dharma apologized profusely to them and informed them that; Roro had been found and the marriage would continue the following week.

The next week has arrived. Roro again bathed in keputren, a bathing pool. There, Roro bathed with seven flowers. Finish it up she's back in makeup like last week. The bridal room was deliberately left intact like that.

But for this time the escort is tighter because it does not want Roro to escape again. Having no chance to leave, Roro can only give himself up to a man he does not love.

When the sun had begun to rise, the group came again with a lot of hands. Prabu Dharma was so happy because this time, he believed that this marriage would really be workable. He welcomed the arrival of his best friend and his future besi with joy.

“I am grateful, you are not that angry with me, Prabu Airlangga, Prince Hanung,” said Prabu Dharma.

“Truly we are very angry and ashamed, but our son has already put his feelings towards the young Queen. So what can I do. I just obey the wishes of my son,” replied Prabu Airlangga. The prince just smiled. Yeah, smile happily for sure.

“We don't want anything bad to happen again, Prabu Dharma. You must provide a tighter escort than yesterday,” continued Prabu Airlangga.

“That's for sure, Prabu.” Prabu Dharma immediately called his servants to remove his daughter who had been in makeup since sunrise. Then, Roro was removed from the bridal room. Everyone was amazed to see his beautiful face. He is like the incarnation of the angel of heaven that was sent down from the heavens. How Prince Hanung is not crazy even if only in one look.

Roro was seated next to Prince Hanung. The prince was seen stealing the look of the girl next to him. There really is no more beautiful beauty in this world than the face of Roro. Never had the Prince seen a girl as beautiful as this, the Inner Prince continued to praise.

But as the rituals began to be recited, Roro looked on with caution. He glanced at the left right looking for an opening to escape. Until the moment the sacred marriage will be carried out, Roro sees everyone off guard because prayers are being offered. Usually, they close their eyes and are very solemn when praying. And that's when Roro ran away again. Back to the hill as fast as the wind. He does have this power, but unfortunately Roro is poorly trained because his life is too spoiled makes him often laze.

The atmosphere again gripped when they opened their eyes did not find the bride-to-be. Riots and riots occurred in the palace.

The loud sounds of Prabu Airlangga and Prince Hanung were deafening. They're very angry. Very angry and hateful to Prabu Dharma. And then, the fight really happened. Porcupine palace.

Prabu Dharma and Queen Saraswati survived that time. But not with his soldiers who had already died covered in blood. That's why Prabu Dharma sent the Ancient Goddess, the most expert astrologer in history to seek the existence of the Princess; Roro Ageng. After Roro is found, without really intending, Prabu curses Roro into a pitiful stone statue.

Prabu realized that he was in regret. At first, he was the one who did not want to hear his wife's words. The Queen was very sad, she looked at her son's hardened body, becoming a worthless thing.

Then, the next year Prabu sent a soldier to bury the statue in the hills. Says the fortune teller, nothing can awaken Roro Putri other than fate. The princess will only come back to life in the next human generation hundreds of years.

As the years passed, the kingdom began to weaken. The palace began to collapse. Finally the King and Queen died with regret. They should have realized from the beginning that love cannot be forced.
