Chapter 4 Alleyah Koma

Alleyah had been lying in this room for three days in a state of unconsciousness. A violent clash in his head left him with a TBI or Traumatic Brain Injury. Not only that his leg suffered a fracture in the kneecap and there are several incisions on the left face Alleyah was involved in oscillating on the waves in a state of unconsciousness.
A doctor was sent by his country as a volunteer medical personnel to Indonesia for the Aceh Tsunami disaster. To help people who are not getting health services as well as victims of natural disasters. The doctor is of Javanese American descent. Because his mother is from Indonesia native to central Java and his father is an American.
But when the doctor was next to the patient's bed, the doctor was only fixated while staring at the face of the patient who was none other than Alleyah. The doctor furrowed his brows and looked at Alleyah and ended with a smile and examined Alleyah's condition.
“How long has he been in this condition sus?”
“It has been 3 days doc, but today the patient's blood pressure is quite stable but still no signs to subconsciously”
“Oke, can you please ask for a patient history record. Start in front of me in charge of this patient”
The nurse was out of the ICU but not with the doctor. She looked at Alleyah's face and stroked Alleyah's cheek lovingly.
“Destiny brings us back my angel.... Second time mommy forced me and I back to meet you..” The doctor muttered.
The doctor looked at the bracelet on Alleyah's left hand and he took the bracelet and opened it.
“Alleyah.... So your name is Alleyah ...”
Then the doctor kept the bracelet in his white suit but just now the doctor was about to leave the ICU room the Patient Monitor device sounded.
Patient monitor is a tool that has a function to provide us information about the state of the patient. The tool is a lot of hose that will be paired to the patient's body, so we can know in real time the state of the patient.
“Tiitt.....Tiettt's.... Tiiittt...”.
The doctor turned around quickly and examined several monitors and medical devices attached to Alleyah's body. His condition worsened from the drinking hose and oxygen hose out of the blood, some nurses entered the ICU room and followed the direction of the doctor blasteran earlier, he said, A nurse was carrying a medicine and a syringe. The doctor injected the drug into an infusion hanging next to Alleyah. The doctor watched Alleyah.
“It looks like there is bleeding in part of his body due to infection. Today he had to transfuse Sus platelets. Where is the medical record of the patient I requested sus?” The doctor can breathe a sigh of relief when the Patient Monitor tool did not sound again.
“There doc I've put him on the doctor” table replied the veiled nurse was short.
The male doctor quickly rushed out of the ICU room to the room for volunteer doctors on duty. The doctor seemed to justify his glasses to read the details of Alleyah's medical record for several days in this Banda Aceh hospital.
Two weeks passed.
“Doctor Ashray, Patient on behalf of Alleyah is awake!” Shouted a nurse from the front door of the room.
Yes, the Indonesian-American doctor was named Ashray Jhon Kemal. Ashray ran after the nurse who gave her the news Ashray had been waiting for. Upon arriving in the ICU room Ashray looked at Alleyah who was crying sobbing by covering both her faces with her smooth white palms.
“I can't remember anything I don't know who I am...” Alleyah cried with a voice that was so heartbreaking Ashray who heard it.
“Let's calm Miss Leya, all will recover. Let us check your health condition. Because you've been over 2 weeks in a coma.”
Ashray had been next to Alleyah and had given her a bracelet that she had kept for several weeks.
“I discovered this the first time I took care of you. And I kept it worrying when it dawned on you to look for it and it says here your name is Alleyah”.
Alleyah was glued to see a bracelet and behind her was engraved the name Alleyah.
“Means you also don't know who I am?”
“Let me tell you what our relationship is and where we met, now let me check your condition first Miss Leyah”
Ashray examined Alleyah's condition closely. And take notes on a map and give it to the nurse who used to accompany him during his time in this hospital.

Also on the left side of the face Alleyah must be operated because the incision wound is deep enough so that surgery must be done.
“Please promise to be healthy first then I will promise when you are healthy and ready I will help you find your family
Alleyah was silent and did not respond to Ashray's words. Empty look. He was confused as to what and how his life was in the past. Is it true that she gave birth. Does she have a husband and children.

After almost 1 month, Alleyah's condition improved and Alleyah became more familiar with Ashray doctors.
“Come on Leyah, you don't push yourself too much. Your legs must be surgically removed first and you can practice walking... You are so stubborn!.” Ashray was irritated to see Leyah who kept trying to walk while her condition could not walk.
“Why you always scold me is I'm trying to be healthy” Leyah grumbled looking at both her legs.
“If you keep forcing yourself out of your wheelchair, the injured bone in your leg will get worse. You want to be paralyzed for life. How are we going to find your family with your condition like that” Doctor Ashray looks so upset and holds Leyah to her bed again.
“Leya... 3 more days I will Kemabli to my home country. How I offered you treatment in my country. There all the tools are more sophisticated and complete.”
“I've thought about it doctor, Since you said you're single so there's no need to be afraid of anyone being jealous like this hospital and I want to immediately find out my identity and see my family. I agree to one condition."
“What.... Terms?." Ashray raised both eyebrows and looked in disbelief at Alleyah.
“When I am healthy and my memory has recovered. You must not refuse if I want to repay all your kindness.”
“If it's easy we'll talk about it after you're healthy. Okay., um.,.. Now you take the medicine and rest. I still have to check on the other patients okay."
Alleyah smiled so sweetly. Although his face looked dull and added some cuts on his face did not make Ashray feel unhappy when he saw Alleyah smiling at him. Ashray always felt warm seeing a smile etched on Leyah's tiny lips.
After leaving Leyah's room, Ashray called someone.
“Good, I agree to all those crazy terms but on condition that my affairs be completed first. Just make a name on Alleyah's passport." Ashray hung up and rushed out of the hospital.
Ashray was upset because finally because for the sake of his love for Alleyah he had to reconcile with his parents to return to the company where Ashray always avoided because he did not like the business world. But because he was an only child, his parents were always pushy.
“OK, all for your sake Leyah...” Ashray's heart was warm when he said that.
