CHAPTER 14 The Jhenny Challenge

When the 2 sisters died, Alleyah's room. Ashray opened the fruits she brought to Alleyah.

"Is it true that Sister Rina said this afternoon that I'm going to have surgery again in these weeks Ray?"

Alleyah was seen glancing at the fruit that was being arranged Ashray into the plate.

"Yes surgery this time for the recovery of trauma to your muscles. You don't have to worry just have to prepare yourself and always think positive."

Ashray gives a wine to the mouth of Alleyah. But not as usual Alleyah took the fruit from Ashray's hand and put it in his mouth.

Ashray squinted one eye to see the strange attitude of Alleyah because almost a few months he took care of and with Alleyah this is the first time the Indonesian woman refused subtly his gift.

"Ray, can I start tomorrow and ask Mommy to accompany me. I feel comfortable and at ease every Mommy is by my side." Alleyah closed her eyes after swallowing the red grapes.

Ashray furrowed his brows. Seeing Alleyah seemed to deliberately want to keep her distance from herself.

"You stay away from me, Ley?"

"Can I walk Ray? how can I stay away from you even if I can't."

Alleyah opened her eyes and smiled then glanced towards her two legs.

"Alright tomorrow I'll have Mommy accompany you. Ley, you still don't remember anything?"

Alleyah seemed to shake her head with a sad face. Ashray felt guilty for asking Alleyah that. Alleyah looked gloomy after the question Ashray had given her.

"Ley, I'm out for a second. You need anything?"

Ashray stopped after being behind the door and looked at Alleyah.

Alleyah seemed to shake her head.

Ashray walked towards the cafeteria but in the elevator met Jhenny who looked exhausted. Ashray could guess that Jhenny had just come from the operating room.

There was no conversation between them in the elevator. When the elevator doors opened on the canteen floor Ashray appeared to be walking towards his favorite place to order coffee.

Ashray did not pay much attention to Jhenny, it turns out that the neurosurgeon followed Ashray.

After Ashray ordered coffee. Ashray sat in a chair waiting for his order.

"You're here to wait for Alleyah?"

"Yes, tomorrow's the day off and I think it's a pity that I don't have the benefit of fighting for my love for Alleyah."

Ashray looked at Jhenny.

"Ray, do you know what happens when a paper plane plays around with a fireball?"

Jhenny took out a paper from her pocket. The woman folded the paper into a plane of paper. Ashray looked at his best friend.

Ashray was just about to leave Jhenny after receiving her coffee order.

"Respect Ray. You don't know return of favour. You can eat until today at the mercy of Jhon Group, who gave you a scholarship."

Jhenny again provokes Ashray until the man stops his steps. There were some people in the cafeteria looking at them because Jhenny's voice was so loud.

"And you? is it worth mentioning as a doctor after you violated your code of conduct as a doctor when operating on Alleyah? And are you sure that if Mr. Jhon finds out he'll let your name be on this hospital's list of doctors. Your fate is even worse than mine if Mr. Jhon is angry, Jhen."

"Well, tomorrow there is a meeting with Mr. Jhon and all the doctors are asked to attend. I challenge you if indeed you dare to loudly in front of the meeting participants to say that you love Alleyah. Then I'll operate on Alleyah in 2 days and I'll make sure she can walk as she can."

Jhenny's voice sounded like a mock.

"So you really didn't do any of the steps when you operated on Alleyah?"

Ashray stared intently at Jhenny and his voice sounded emotion-restrained.

"You just answer my challenge tomorrow. Without me answering you understand my answer Ray."

Jhenny leaves Ray with a coffee in Ray's hand.

"The obsession is when you're so eager to own and enjoy something, then you throw it away when you've got Ray. I haven't got you yet. Then the feeling in my heart can't be an obsession."

Jhenny walked towards the elevator while drinking Ashray coffee and before the elevator door closed Jhenny smiled and rolled her eyes at Ashray.

"We'll see after this Jhen. If your heart is love. Then you'll make peace. But if you go after me, it's just an obsession."

Ashray returned to the back to order the coffee back.
