The Way to Your Light

The Way to Your Light
CHAPTER 2 (AMIRUL HASBI)

Aamir saw two young women enter the terrace of the mosque without opening their footwear. Aamir who had just finished sweeping and mopping the inside of the mosque, just rushed over to the two women.

As much as possible Aamir rebuked them in a soft and polite voice, But not the good reply he received. Except even the word ketus thrown by one of them.

The woman looked haughty and looked at her cynically, and of course she did not heed the rebuke from Aamir at all. The proof is that they still wear their shoes to get into the toilet.

Aamir deliberately waited for them to come out of the toilet, a few moments later they came out laughing freely. I don't know what they're talking about so they look so happy. Aamir didn't really care, what he cared about now was that the terrace floor of the mosque looked wet and dirty because their shoes were just coming out of the toilet.

"Sister, Sorry.. Next time if these brothers want to use the toilet that the building joins the mosque, the sister can use the slippers that have been provided in front of the toilet. I know maybe the shoes are clean, but at least please be appreciated by people who have cleaned and mopped the floor of the mosque. Because the shoes have been brought into the toilet so it is not ethical if it is set again the kemas of this clean mosque. Sorry, brother, I just reminded you." explained Aamir with a calm voice and polite attitude.

But, again - again The woman before him did not accept the reprimand from Aamir. He considered Aamir too much. With a clack of his waist, the white woman immediately replied to Aamir's warning with an explosive sentence.

"Eh.. Fucking lebai!! We also talked about our shoes. What the hell is the matter with us ha? How is it that nyolotnya you, indeed this mosque has father Lo?" poke the woman with fire.

"I don't miss you, I just feel responsible for delivering it. I'm sorry if you're offended by my delivery" Aamir said humbly.

"Yes obviously offended" Nisha said, raising her tone.

"Nai, stop.. Not in ladeni. Let's just go ahead." said Mely by pulling Naisha's hand to get the hell out of there. Because Mely knew Naisha would still want to continue her words.

"The weird part is guys, our problem with sapatu is that it is rented out. You're pissing me off." Naisha was still nagging along the way to where their car was parked.

While Aamir can only see the departure of the two women by shaking his head.

As Maghrib approached, Aamir who had been dressed neatly just came out of his room by going down the stairs to the bottom of the mosque. Well.. Aamir's room is on the second floor of a grand mosque located in elite housing.

Aamir lived in the mosque for a few days as a Marbot who maintained the security and cleanliness of the mosque and taught the children in the neighborhood to read the Qur'an.

After entering the mosque, Aamir saw three men who were already there. They brought drinks and various kinds of takjil to break their fast. Aamir approached them and greeted them kindly.

"God willing, this is a message from where else is Fadil?" aamir asked Fadhil, a teenager who was active in religious activities in the mosque.

"This is from Mr. Marwan's wife, Bang Aamir. Thank God, there is more for children nantik tadarus night." replied Fadhil enthusiastically.

"Yes, it's Bang Aamir." said Fadhil who was still busy preparing food and drinks to break their fast. And a few minutes later, the time for breaking the fast has come in. The four of them immediately opened together, after which Aamir declared adzan maghrib.

After the prayer, they continued by eating together. They ate so voraciously, without making a single sound. After finishing eating, then they make a sound by talking to each other - talk warmly about their busyness and activities every day.

It does not feel the time of prayer isya has entered, and people have come to perform congregational prayer services while performing tarawih prayers and congregational witir as well. But previously, filled first with spiritual food or lectures from Ustad who had been invited to deliver his preaching that night at the Takwa Mosque.

However, it is a pity for tonight that the ustad will fill the lecture is not going to come. And suddenly the manager of the mosque, Mr. David, suggested that Aamir was the one who replaced the speaker who was not present that night.

"Okay, Mr. David. I have no preparation at all to give a lecture tonight." subtly declined Aamir.

"What's wrong Aamir, I'm sure you can definitely be unprepared. Because as Ustad Mukhlis once said if you are a good speaker in your village. So I'm sure, you can certainly give your best even without preparation" said Mr. David so confidently.

"Yes different sir, it is in my village so people already know me. But, if it's here, I'm a little groggy sir, honestly..!!" said Aamir who was still trying to reject the offer from Mr. David. But Mr. David doesn't want to know. He told Aamir to speak that night. And with a forced finally Aamir followed the wishes of Mr. David that is filling spiritual food to the community in the elite housing environment.

At first Aamir was a bit nervous, but because he already had experience in lecturing when he was in the village, then the nervousness was slowly - the land began to disappear. Plus Aamir who once tasted education in pesantren that made his religious knowledge so broad and good that the content of the lecture he presented could be well received by the people who attended the mosque that night.

As Aamir filled out the lecture, without Aamir noticing that a middle-aged man in the mosque was watching him with deep admiration and sympathy. The burly man could not help but stare at Aamir with his shady gaze. Curious, the man asked Mr. David who happened to be sitting next to him.

"Sir David, who is that young man who replaced the preacher tonight?" ask him curiously.

"Oh, that. His name is Aamirul Hasbi Pak, we used to call him Aamir. He has only been assigned a few days as a marbot in this mosque." explained Mr. David as it is.

The man the questioner was just a mangosteen hearing the explanation from Mr. David. However, inexplicably in his heart came a desire to get to know more closely with the young man.
