Chapter 70. - The Brick of Genius

At night, everyone was at the dining area. Alvin who had suspected something that Alena had hidden from him. Alena ate slowly and her facial expression was in pain as she chewed. "It's okay, baby. It's just a common toothache" Alena replied for the umpteenth time when Alvin asked about her mouth.

"Ma, honestly. Why does your mama's cheek look swollen?" ask the boy who made Alena's forehead dizzy. "Mama..." Aluna ran and hugged Alena. Aluna plays Alena's cheek.

Oh..!!

Shouted Alena because her wound was accidentally touched by her daughter. "Mama why?" asked Aluna, who then accidentally touched the bruised part of Arga's punch. "Akh..!!" Alena endured all her pain for the sake of her two children. Suddenly Alvin put his hand on Alena's cheek.

"Mommy fever?" alvin asked who felt the bruised part of Alena slightly hot. Alena shakes. And the moon is getting higher. Everyone is asleep. In Alena's room, the woman was sitting quietly on the sofa.

"Mama," call Alvin from the door. Alena then told her son to come inside. Alvin closed the door to his mother's room. "What's up, baby? Is your sister asleep?" alena asked while patting her thigh, gesturing for Alvin to sit there.

Alvin sat down, he shook his head, answering his mother's question. "Mama, why mama's cheek?" alvin asked that again. "Here, mama told me, it's just a toothache swelling" she replied.

Alvin then clasped Alena's hand. "Why did Mom lie to me? It wasn't the swelling from the toothache, it was the bruising." Alvin was sad who made Alena gape. Alvin then turned around. Finally, Alvin looked at Alena's face. "You don't have to lie. Alvin knows, it's not a toothache swelling. Ma, what's the cheek of mama?"

"Mama's cheeks, accidentally hit the table." Alena's pretext is lying. But, his son is very smart. "Bumping table?" Alvin got up, then pulled Alena's hand. Then, his mother followed him who walked to the sink. "Wash mama's face" Alvin's pinta.

Alena obeyed the wishes of the baby, because of her bruises, it was revealed. "Already," said Alena while wiping her face using a clean towel. Alvin climbed up onto the chair to look at Alena's cheeks even closer.

Alvin closed the door to his room and was about to go to sleep. "Sister," call Aluna. The girl had not slept. Alvin took a quick glance at his sister, then sat down beside her. "Sister, what's the bruise on my mama's cheek?" ask Aluna who made Alvin jerked.

"How did you know?" ask Alvin. Aluna lowered her head. "Sorry brother, I was following you to punish you, but unexpectedly, you came to my mother's room. I overheard your conversation."

"According to my explanation, my mother was beaten by someone. Because, bruised rock bumped against the table, the result will be elongated, but the bruise on the cheek mama round, like the fist of someone. In my conclusion, mama was at odds with someone, and that guy hit mama,"

obviously Alvin at length. Aluna nodded.
